The road to Haven
A losing battle with depression has turned her up in Haven after a good deal of time on the road, but it would be hard to tell she suffers from it due to her endless optimism. Normally this woman has no bounds when it comes to her warm and caring nature, and even the rudest of people are capable of deserving some happiness in her eyes. Having moved around a lot after her lover died back in Washington D.C., she found her self without much of a real home. She bounced from town to town, state to state, working at various nursing homes for the elderly and disabled, or pet shelters caring for the animals and it helped keep her focus off her own troubles. Somehow she found herself in Haven in her roaming and if you ask her why she chose such a middle of nowhere town, she can't quite put her finger on why she has put down any roots in such an off the grid place. Especially for a more southern city girl.
A supernatural world
The supernatural world isn't exactly new for the woman, but at the same time it is and it has shaken up her world. You won't catch her talking about though.
How I cope
She delves into helping any and everyone who needs it. A flaw really, more than anything. Her distraction comes in forms of work and caring for others where ever and however possible. If she sees a work in progress, there is something that makes her want to get involved. She can be an awkward sort, but she hides this by a mirthful sarcasm filled with cheeky comments. Most anything that makes her uncomfortable she immediately tries to find some way to make it funny, though it can come off as extremely dry humor at times.
