Since I've Been Gone
Briar was one of the few survivors of an 'accident' in October of 2019 that on paper was listed as something quite mundane: a gas explosion. Though in reality was something more drenched in the supernatural. For a number of months it was uncertain whether she would ever awaken from her coma, or succumb to her injuries. But she is nothing if not tenacious. She fought hard to maintain her hold on this world and eventually woke.
The road to recovery was long, with hours of physical therapy, and her mind was never quite the same. Her abilities stolen from her, physically weak, visions frequently swim in front of her eyes, replacing faces, drawing up dream-memories at the most inconvenient of times. Leaving her struggling to work out just which Briar she is and maintain her sanity.
And most of all, start again. Starting again has brought Briar brought her to Haven and a grotty old trailer that has seen better days. And everything looks oh so familiar.
Need Help? Rescuing?
No longer the naive girl she once was when she first arrived in Haven, Briar has had her eyes opened, and had a crash course in all things scary and dangerous with the destruction of her shitty trailer.
Once mentored under Gray Holiday, while Briar has since lost most of her arcane and combative abilities, she's still just as keen to be one of the few that help protect the people of Haven with her new Order family. Even if her methods are sometimes... a little unconventional.
Need To Speak to the Dead?
Ever since she awoke from her coma, Briar has been seeing the dead with growing frequency. At first, in the faces of people she passes, brief glimpses of bloody visages, before their features revert. Briar might no longer think she is mad, but sometimes she might wish she was.
Watch this space, more coming.

"The most challenging part of discovering a new world is realizing that the things will never be the same. That there is no returning to the life you had before." - Gray.
"Best thing to do is figure it out as you go along." - Jack.
"From finding the body parts in the cellar, to saving me from the other worlds. Some of you wants to take off the white armor and throw yourself at me." - Dante.
"It takes a special kinda person to put up with my particular brand of fuck-up half as well as you do, which makes you pretty spectacular in my book. There are brownies in the kitchen whenever you get back, if the trailer hasn't burnt down. Shit, I think I left the oven on." - Daniel
"After what I've seen in Vegas, I can't help but wonder what else there is about you - what makes you tick, what drives you forward day after day in this sleepy little town of horrors... In a totally clinical way, but not in a creepy clinical way!" - Kat
"Dude, I gotta say, you're definitely the best dealer I've ever had. And the weirdest. And hey - thanks again." - Fritz
"Briar, Briar, Briar ... the Thorn in Bloodcode's side! I'm going to take such sweet pleasure in eating you." - The Bitch
"An interesting young woman. Brave to be sure." - Mister Worthington
