"When they catch you, they will kill you.
But first, they must catch you."
Richard Adams, Watership Down
A Brief History
A shy first-year college student from northern Vermont, Noelle has traveled south to Haven for easy access to the big city, and she's raring to get started on her Bachelor's after a few years saving up. Unfortunately for her, there's quite a bit more here than the college library, and there's not much left for her to return home to in Vermont. She's here in Haven to stay... At least until her four years are up, or until the New England Conservatory of Music gets back to her about that transfer application.
Although the Moore name is recognizable in some circles here, Noelle seems to bear little in the way of resemblance or relation.
Fellow students might recognize her as an avid scholar of musical theory and history, despite her entirely uncertain career prospects in this field. She swears she'll make it work. If you frequent the practice rooms, one might also know that she hasn't spent a single semester without a choral class for herself. Perhaps she'd rather be a soprano than a historian...? So far, she won't tell.
Despite her attempts to portray herself as a bit of a party girl-- and the truth of those attempts-- Noelle is quite the teacher's pet. Her grades are slightly above average, but she pours hours upon hours of work into her studies. The only way one could keep this up is if she were to sleep quite little.
Noelle is a busy girl. When she's not on campus, she can be found at the gym, out on a jog, or perhaps indulging her rather obvious vices for attention, neon lights, and fun. What's the point of college if she's never out to enjoy it? To Noelle, there's no point at all. One might find her at the club -- what kind of club depends on the night-- or out at any of the pubs or bars in the Haven area.
On calmer days, Noelle can be found enjoying the scenery, shopping, and generally keeping herself out and about. It's quite rare to find her in the dorms, and in Haven, extroversion isn't always a good thing.
Attentions and Attractions
To be continued.
