The road to Haven
Orlaith ni Rioghnach first appeared as a name roughly 200 years ago, a young Gaeltacht woman in the tiny seaside village of Cloghmore on the western coast of County Galway. She arrived one day out of nowhere, walking down the beach before deciding to stay. She was known to flit about, often disappearing for sometimes months at a time. With hair the colour of midnight and eyes the colour of clovers, she was generally considering a strange spirited youth if a pretty one.
Then, one day, the woman disappeared for good. The name name Orlaith was spoken around the time of the Napoleonic Wars, a woman of uncommon blue-black hair and fern green eyes by description and known only in the right war mongering circles. One again the name falls into obscurity, only to surface time and again as whispers around the dark edges of wars, conflicts, genocides.
A supernatural world
Orlaith was born on Beltane in the realm of the Sidhe, known as Tir-na-nOg, to two Fae Children. Her life has been spent on the shadowy edges of human civilization, providing slaves for the Fae games and dealing in arms just for a bit of fun. She's travelled from war to war, conflict to conflict, often selling her wares to both sides. On occasion, she's been known to throw in with a party and fight for them... as long as they compensate her accordingly.
