Read the <a href=\"\/newsite\/h5-lore\/#setting\">Setting<\/a> and the <a href=\"\/newsite\/h5-lore\/#lore-primer\">Lore Primer<\/a> first: they tell you what everyone in town knows, and what only the supernatural world knows.<\/p>\n<h3>Getting started<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect to <strong>havenrpg.net<\/strong> port <strong>3000<\/strong>, or use the <a href=\"https:\/\/havenrpg.net\/gameclient\/\">web client<\/a>, and create a character.<\/li>\n<li>Ask questions on the <code>newbie<\/code> channel. Other players and staff are happy to help.<\/li>\n<li>Read the <a href=\"\/newsite\/h5-guides\/\">guides<\/a>: roleplaying, combat, progression and travel are all explained there.<\/li>\n<li>Every command has a helpfile. See <a href=\"\/newsite\/h5-commands\/\">Commands<\/a>, or type <code>help (topic)<\/code> in game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Roleplaying tips<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>People know of the supernatural, but it stays hidden.
