It notifies everyone in the room about your attempt<br \/>and prepares for a possible check.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you can try picking the lock with dexterity, larceny, etc.<\/p>\n<p>If you include a number at the start of the command, you limit how<br \/>many people can assist you.
