In the tavern main room of The Sleepy Dragon Inn and Retreat
This is a warm and welcoming establishment in the heart of Haven. The interior of the inn is cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm and you're immediately struck by the warmth and light that fills the room. The air is thick with the smell of roasting meat and freshly baked bread, making your stomach growl with hunger.
The main room is spacious and open, with a large wooden table at its center.The walls are adorned with wooden paneling, and the floor is made of worn wooden planks. A cleverly accurate gas fireplace crackles and spits in the hearth near the entrance, casting a golden glow over the room. The fire is surrounded by comfortable chairs, where guests can lounge and share stories.
Off to the side of the main room, there are several smaller tables and nooks that offer more intimate seating areas and to the east the pub continues into a cozy tavern bar proper.
It is about 90F(32C) degrees.
Edmund arrives with a look around and a seeming look of relief to find at least a few people still remaining in the space for the supposed celebration. It takes him a minute of wandering to spy Calista and begin approaching her with an adjusting of his tie.
Selina stands up from her chair and makes her rounds, patting people on the shoulder and saying a few quick words of encouragement. Once she has made the rounds, she says, "I have a new consort with limited time to speak, so I am going to go provide her with more direct attention. Enjoy your evening, everyone." On the way out, she gives Edmund a wink, passing him on her way to the door.
Edmund politely smiles at Selina as they pass and loosens his tie instead of fixing it now.
"Very good, Selina. I am happy that you have found such a consort that enthuses you." Magnus replies with a big grin.
"Enjoy!" Trevor says to Selina, flashing her a sly smirk as she passes him by and makes her way out. "Thanks for hosting, and thanks for bringing us together."
Calista slips off the arm of the chair she had been perched on and strides to meet Edmund part of the way. "Hi! Thank you for making it out!" She puts out her hand to the man presumably for a shake or just to take it even, in comraderie. "Please help yourself to food and the cocktails. I should make a refill on the one we're missing."
Jill gives a bright smile and waves to someone, "Always a pleasure to be in your presence!"
