Alexanders Odd Encounter Sr Irma 240217

On a chilling night, when the dark shroud of the storm clouds blanketed the sky, a young man fraught with fear found his way to Alexander's doorstep. This visitor, Jimmy, brought into the serene luxury of Alexander’s bedroom, was a victim of a supernatural encounter that left him bewildered and visibly marked by fangs. Having been advised by a deputy of the Haven Sheriff's Department, who was concurrently a member of the Order, Alexander was entrusted with the task of addressing Jimmy’s confusion. Without hesitation, Alexander welcomed Jimmy into the safety of his home, immediately tending to the young man's physical and emotional turmoil with an icepack and a glass of water, signaling the beginning of a peculiar yet crucial interaction.

Throughout their conversation, it became evident that Jimmy was struggling to come to terms with his experience, which involved a sinister encounter at a club leading to an unimaginable nightmare. Alexander, sensing Jimmy's desperation to escape his trauma, offered him a choice — to either live with the knowledge of the supernatural, bound by the threat of death to keep it secret, or to embrace oblivion through the aid of a special potion, erasing the memory of his harrowing experience. Opting for peace over haunting memories, Jimmy chose to forget, allowing Alexander to guide him through a process that would grant him release from his nightmares. This decision not only highlighted the compassionate yet complex nature of Alexander's role within the shadowy realms of the supernatural but also underscored the profound implications of such encounters on unsuspecting individuals, leaving a lingering question about the true cost of secrecy and the paths we choose to escape our fears.

In a luxurious cool-toned bedroom with a platform bed
In this sanctuary of sleep, the bedroom basks in cool-toned luxury. A centerpiece platform bed, low and sleek, anchors the space, adorned with linens in a palette of soft silver and tranquil blue. The walls, a soothing slate grey, serve as a serene canvas, complementing minimalist art pieces that whisper tales of abstract beauty.

The room glows softly under recessed lighting, while chrome-accented bedside lamps offer a focused luminescence. A grand window, dressed in sheer silvery curtains, invites daylight to dance on the polished hardwood floors and, by night, frames the starry sky, marrying the rooms elegance with the beauty of the natural world outside.

It is after dusk, about 27F(-2C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey stormclouds. There is a first quarter moon.

There's a knock at Alexander's door, rap, rap, rap. Someone is outside! A young man, if he can get a look at him, shivering in the cold, and he looks very worried. He shifts with fear, looking around the dusky sky with wide eyes.

"Just a minute," Alexander bellows. People knocking on his door are never a good thing. He gets his coat, tucks a hand gun under it, and hides his knife at his hip. He moves to the door peeks through then pulls the door open.

"I ... is this ... are you Alexander?" asks the young man, obviously concerned. He shivers some more. "I, uh, I met a Haven Sheriff's Deputy, and they told me. They told me to come here and ask for you." Just then, a text message to Alexander's phone from a special deputy who is a member of the Order: "Sending Jimmy Smith to you. I have to take a call, but he just got jumped by a vampire and he is very confused. Someone is going to need to explain to him what happened or just make him forget."

"Yes," Alexander offers, gesturing for the young man to enter. "Come in, take a seat on the couch, you will be safe here," Alexander notes closing the door behind them and gazing outside.

The young man follows Alexander inside. "My name is Jimmy," he says. "And the deputy... he said. I don't know what just happened to me." Inside, Alexander can see fang marks on someone' neck. It's obvious he was bitten. "I feel like I am dreaming." His words are scared. "Like this can't possibly be real."

Alexander nods to Jimmy. "I am Alexander," he notes. And peers at the bite closely. He moves to his kitchen and opens his fridge and lobs an icepack over. Then moves to fetch a glass of water. "You might be, let's talk, what happened?"

The young man says, "I don't really know.. Like at all." He's uncertain. "I was at a club, and this woman came to me, and we went back to ... back to the back, you know?" A blush. "But then she had ..." He leans forward. "I feel like I'm going crazy."

sits down across from the man and gestures. "Would you like to forget about it and go on with your life?" Alexander asks.

The young man nods. He nods fervently. "More than anything," he tells Alexander. "It was..." He trails off, his eyes and words a little hollow. "It was so scary," he says. "I was shaking, when the deputy found me."

"Then...are you okay staying here with me for a bit?" Alexander asks. He does not know the methods but the Order can, a potion to remove the memory of such an event. Supposing of course, that bite is no more nasty than a wound. "Until then, would you like answer? Or should I simply let you be?"

"I don't..." the young man takes a pause, concerned, and he tilts his head. "A *potion*?" he asks. "Did she drug me?" he wonders. He's afraid, concerned, leaning in. "What did she do?" Clearly, he has no idea what he is asking.

"Hm?" Alexander was fairly certain he didn't say that bit out loud. "No, it is how we will correct this. You have a choice, keep what happened to you to the utmost secrecy, sharing it with no one on pain of death or...forgetting. I have a tool available to aid with that. You aren't the first to stumble into this truth, and you won't be the last to forget it either," Alexander informs him.

With a long pause, the young man says, "I would like to forget."

From there it's a simple matter for Alexander. He's a jovial sort. He'll entertain the young man, he'll make him food, grab him a drink. Answer questions whose answers will remain oblivion. This is easy. There's no fight. He understand ultimately why one would choose to forget even if he insisted otherwise...

Still a thought that lingers, would he have been such easy prey if he knew? Who benefits from secrecy.

Alexander grants the man oblivion, freedom from the nightmares.
