Peter Swann was a career soldier when he met his wife, Trafina Campbell. He was back home for a brief vacation and was enamored with her. After several months of a long-distance relationship, Peter retired and went home to her. They married shortly after, and Peter got his Masters in Journalism. That is when Peter realized the skills he learned were more useful than he thought, and he began spying on others. Secrets became his currency, as it was for his father, an information broker, before him.

Quite wealthy, he likes to blow money on things he might be able to win more off of. He even tackles games he's never played before, and more often than not comes away with winnings.

Kitchen Witch
Yeah, that's right. Peter likes to cook, and he's damned good at it – maybe even better than he is a writer. He certainly shows more enthusiasm at the stove than he does behind the desk. He's also quite fond of good coffee.

Rumors say that the Swanns got their money by stealing it from the Wilsons and Inigos, but Peter seems to be on the up-and-up; as far as anyone in Haven is aware, he adds to his fortune with mostly honest work (they are not fond of the spying).
