In Highgate Coffee Main Cafe/span>/spanCozy and clean with a warm aura, this coffee shop very much has a neighborhood vibe to it. The walls are a comforting offwhite shade while the floors are constructed from polished golden wood beams. There is a slight nautical aesthetic from the decor including a ropelined shelf selling coffee accessories, a ripple pattern mosaic there, and the logo of the cafe itself: a lighthouse upon simply drawn waves, offering safe harbor. There is a fresh scent of coffee in the air, followed by murmured conversations./span>/spanA stairway leads to a rooftop garden above. To the north, a glimpse of a secondary lounge with an oceanview can be seen. To the south is a room available for groups and meetings alike. Most strikingly, through the windows to the west, behind the coffee bar a glimpse into the cultivated gardens outside calls for customers to stop and stay awhile in this Highgate haven./span>/span60F(15C) degrees. Is sitting at a coffee house talking with Eloa and Matias says in a unsympathetic baritone, “He was an unaware that became aware and attacked supernaturals. That is a risk of the Venetian treaty because he was not affiliated with the Vigil or Temple or any group that we know about. Bringing him back and wiping his memory might not work long term, he might go back to attacking supernaturals and I am the reason he is blaming for his activity so I would be culpable to Venice.” he points out and then further adds, “Also charon coins do not always work, why would a vengeful father reunited with his daughter after he believed he killed me choose to come back?”

“Fiinnee Eloa will not get them to resurrect him.” Eloa sighs, apparently not having paid for the charon coins yet and twirls her spoon around and around her coffee. It is that moment Matias accidentaly makes contact with someone through the glass. A young man, covered in blood, holding a limp body of a woman in his arms. The young man’s eyes are frantic… but also red tinged with blood lust and after making eye contact with Matias which is a big no no in haven, the automatic doors open and the man staggers into the shop! Because haven is a very aware place, he is given the side eye but there’s no screaming yet. And he walks up to Matias, looking little more than 18 or 19. “Please help.” He begs, shaking the pale, lifeless body of the woman in his arms as he looks up at Matias. “Help..” He adds some psychic persuasion to it!

Matias makes eye contact with someone holding a body and sighs. He sighs as the young man comes in and tries to force the problem onto him. There is a polite smile, it fails to reach his judgemental gaze as he puts his really under enjoyed cold brew off to the side. “Of course, she’ll help.” he says to the young man as he motions for Eloa, “Just put the body down and let the nurse take care of her.” and then perhaps in a bit of turnabout says with the force of psychic persuasion behind it, “Tell me what happened and maybe we can work something out, yeah?”

The man infront of Matias winces at the psychic feedback that happens when his attempt at psychic persuasion fails. The man still nods through, putting the girl down so that Eloa can give Matias a look at his voluntolds her and goes to check the pulse of the woman. She turns the woman’s head and Matias cannot see but there is a bigggg pair of holes on the woman’s neck. Sighing, Eloa lowers her head to listen for breathing even though it’s pretty pointless. The woman is dead dead.

Meanwhile the man reaches out, trying to take Matias’s hand and his eyes grow all big as he force Matias to imagine the scene.

It was a beautiful romantic night. Well still is since this happened not too long ago. Sitting on a roof top with an airconditioner blasting away near them, the two lovebirds were seated on a brick wall watching the sunset when the bloodlust came upon the man. He turns to kiss her as she giggles, thinking the man just wants to neck her when his fangs slide out and he bites down even as she screams and starts to struggle. Apparently one of those vampires who don’t like to hypotize their victims first, the man here holds her by hair and by body, clamping down on her as he sucks her until her blood runs dry.

New Haven is certainly the kind of place where a body in a coffee shot will cause concern, some normies still exist and they panic. Someone probably already called 911 even. Matias is listening to the man and with his hand in the man’s own he says in a very simple voice, “You are a very messy eater.” it is his educator voice, blunt, direct. “I do not know whom sired you or what…” a look up and down the man with hard judging eyes. “Affiliation you might have.” visible symbols or markings. “But you do not drag the body of your ‘lady love’ into a public place. If you were anywhere else in the world. Temple or Order operatives would be coming for you and I would be helping them.” he paints a grim picture of what the true cost of this kind of activity is. “And police, normal police, would treat you like a front page murderer. So what you are going to do is come with me and you will be taught how to clean up your own mess and if you do not. I will give you to the Temple myself.”

“Please…” The man gestures towards Matias’s watch where his society symbol is apparently although apparently the the man needs new glasses because as he squints at the watch it’s clear that it’s a mask symbol not a hand symbol although through the window and from afar it looked very similar. “Oh you’re going to help me? That’s… great.” The man slumps with relief and sinks down on the seat next to Matias as if Matias is going to make all his problems go away! “I heard the court has um…” Well really he heard the hand but maybe he can try the same words! “The court has alot of wealth… they can bring her back though right? Like.. not that I’m that concerned with her because I just picked her up out of starbucks you know but like… I don’t want to be a murderer.” He admits to Matias, maybe thinking that Matias actually did accept the psychic imprint which is why Matias is helping him now!

Meanwhile, Eloa sighs as she tries to search the woman to find some kindof ID. She finds a phone which she uses to hold up the woman’s face. FaceID workds even when dead!

“Why?” Matias asks the vampire spawn with a depth of disinterest in that word. “Why would we bring back someone you killed? We did not kill her. You killed her and you are going to go on killing. Unless you join the Order or the Temple and get chipped. You are going to take a human life, every few months, for the rest of your existence.” the truth hurts kid. “If you want to bring your victims back, try and wipe the trauma of death from them. That is your choice and I applaud your ethics, but do not pretend that you will not kill again and will be forced to do it again… and again… and again.”

“It’s true.” The man is probably very suited for the hand because well… The look of remorse looks like someone regretting that he muted a professor for his own lesson. That is. Very limited. The man rubs at his wrists where his watch sits – not because he thinking of paying but because there’s blood drying there and it’s uncomfortable and sighs. “I didn’t even get her name.” He tells Matias regretfully (not).

“Her name is Jessie!” Eloa calls out from the ground as she’s managed to unlock Jessie’s phone and is now scrolling through the phone. “She looks like she works for Macdonalds and there is angry texts from her manager that she hasn’t come in.” From the side, it looks like the bartender has indeed called 911! Which is… literally staffed by volunteers from societies in this town apparently.

The man looks back over at Matias, “I’m Jason by the way. Thanks man. For helping. Really. I appreciate it.. This is like.. the fourth one..” The fourth one and he hasn’t seeked help before!

“It’s true.” The man is probably very suited for the hand because well… The look of remorse looks like a certain demonblooded man regretting that he muted a professor for his own lesson. That is. Very limited. The man rubs at his wrists where his watch sits – not because he thinking of paying but because there’s blood drying there and it’s uncomfortable and sighs. “I didn’t even get her name.” He tells Matias regretfully (not).

Matias offers a sudden wide smile to Jason the fledgling mass murder and beckons him closer, “It is no problem, I am a Professor at Windermere. I am very much experience helping people like you with this transition.” he tries to beckon him closer so he can put a hand on his shoulder and bring him closer, “Do you know what the most important thing right now is?”

The exceedingly narcissistic, cold and probably psychopathic man turns to look at Matias with shrewed blue eyes, “What is it?” He asks Matias eagarly thinking that he’s found someone from his own flock! “Also how do you get a latina to follow you around doing whatever you want? Did you hypotize her? Can you teach me?” The man asks eaglerly as he leans closer into Matias, as if Matias is a wonderful master taking him under wing.

The young vampire probably did not notice Matias’s other hand reaching back for an SNS 9mm pistol in the hidden holster at the small of his back. Nor is there a dramatic cocking of the gun or a click. There is just *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* three shots into the young man’s kneecap while Matias gets splashback from the entry wound and he continues with a cheshire grin as he pushes Jason away from himself and stands up. “Jason, here ends the lesson. Those you are not self aware, make bad aware. You have killed four times and come dump this problem into my lap? How do I even know you are not lying to me? Maybe this woman is a killer. Maybe she was killed by a vampire different than you for some heinous crime. Either way no one in the Supernatural world is here to help you just because. Now while that heels up, I do hope your affiliation relationship is strong because…” he keeps his gun aimed at the vampire, he is supernatural, he is a predatory, and a self confessed killer afterall. His other hand pulls out his cheap pixel and takes his picture sending it off to the Temple or so he is about to claim. “The Temple has your picture, now.”

“You bitch!!!” The young vampire howls as Matias takes his gun out and kneecaps the vampire. He tumbles to the floor off his seat as he.. well doesn’t really bleed because he’s a vampire. His knee just turns to mush with some glistening white bone poking out. “I thought you were going to help me! What is wrong with you!!!” The man that completely lacks insight cries as he rolls around on the floor. If the police haven’t been called earlier they certainly are being well… texted right now. There’s probably a temple van already on the way!

Meanwhile, Eloa is screaming as she hides behind a counter, with the rest of the people in the coffee underneath the table while staring at Matias who has turned into a wild shooter! Good thing this coffee shop probably belongs to someone in the court!

Matias puts his phone away and sighs as the faeborn professor is apparently not exactly the most charitable person in the world. He keeps the SNS pistol aimed at the vampire on the floor and says to Eloa, “Lets get our drinks to go sweetheart.” and then briefly looks down at the dead girl and says, “Keep her information, we will contact the family ourselves. I am sure the Hand would hide it as an overdose or something self inflicted. We can at least say it was a horrible accident caused by someone who… well did no get what they deserved, but something happened to them.” he looks back at Jason with that cheshire grin. “Right Jason?”

Starting to look very uncomfortable with the way things are going now, Eloa whimpers and nods her head at Matias’s words, taking a photo of her own phone which snapshots the woman’s phone’s contacts before putting the phone back with the dead corpse of the woman. Reaching up, Eloa takes Matias’s free hand while looking down at the vampire, who is baring teeth at them both. His knee is healed remarkably quickly actually, the bone starting to disappear because well, he did glut himself on an exsanguinating feed.

Glaring at Matias, the man throws his hand out and a forced imagination comes to Matias.

He imagines himself at home when suddenly he’s paralysed, unable to move. Dark shadows move in and Eloa is dragged kicking and screaming infront of Matias. The vampire on the ground pets Eloa’s hair, strokes her cheek as she screams and thrashes and then sinks his teeth into Eloa’s throat, while holding Eloa. Matias gets to watch the entire lengthy exasanguinating process without any aneesthetic until Eloa slumps to the ground, as pale and as lifeless as the other girl in the coffee shop.

Matias’s vision loses focus as a forced scenario is placed within his mind’s eyes… Invitation… Corruption, it has its drawbacks. As he comes back to the moment at hand there is the gun aimed at Jason the young vampire but sirens and probably a Temple panel van and all these witnesses. The gun is put away and he comments, “45 Madison, just south of 244… Come and see what happens to you.” not only a threat but a challenge as he begins to lead Eloa out and informs her, “We should tell them she was doing charity work when she passed.”

Matias says “43… 43 Madison!

As the forced imagination makes Matias forget his own address, the vampire glares at him as he takes down the address mentally. “I’LL COME BACK FOR YOU.” The vampire promises as Eloa follows Matias out of the poor coffee shop which has to clean up fragments of knee everywhere and a dead corpse! Poor coffee shop!
