Shapes distort, vision blurs, and eyes lose focus. “… I don’t see a Haemomancer amongst them..” Selene notes, though whether or not her observation will stay true is something only time can tell.

“What kind of ranged weaponry do you prefer?” inquires Selene next, looking aside at Elaine. Which is also where her expressions shift some, and she looks the other over. A chuckle, a quiet one, slips from her. “Rough of night of drinking, yesterday?”
“Throwing knives.” Elaine says, drawing said knife to settle between her fingers. “I truly wish it had been drinking. I regained my wings for a few hours yesterday.”

Elaine breathes a sigh of annoyance as the darkness rushes forth. “This part displeases me…” is murmured as she settles against the ticket machine.
“We should have reinforcements coming in due time.. I can hear the rumble of the bikes on the wind, already..” comments Selene, hunkering down behind cover to make sure she’s got her handgun properly reloaded. Whether or not actual bikes are heard already isn’t up to her to tell, her senses admittedly are hardly above a Natural’s. But even as metaphorical statement, it holds some weight, some truth to it.
