    Please move the correct forum if this is not the correct place.

    The way that imbued objects works right now does not sit well with me. People will use RPExp and even their Karma in order to get an innate for the special sensitivities provided by imbue. For a measly bag of blood, people forever have that innate someone spent a pretty penny for on character creation.

    I would like to suggest that imbued objects be put on a timer, dying out a week after creation. Not only does this provide another avenue of RP in order to get more blood, but it feels less OP. OP is a strong word for it, given the nature of what is provided, tbf.

    Another solution is to have a life force drain associated to it. You have to use life force to activate objects with powers associated to them, so why not an imbued object? It’s been a bit since I’ve created anything like that, but I believe the cost for a power granting object is much steeper than one bag of blood and done.

    I feel like in the early stages, they are already being made and passed around like candy.

    As someone that is seeking two imbued items. I agree. I need them for some RP I am planning, but if they exist functionally forever than I think they should have a timer or lf activation cost.

    I personally would like to see it ‘dry up’ so to speak, if at all possible — leading to RP avenues.
