    Let’s address it.

Yes, I did in fact e-mail Ouroboros. Gave him a fair warning that I was considering contacting my bank and requesting a transaction gets reverted, for failure to reestablish channels part of a donation plan of his that every person paying what I paid gets access to. We can argue it is okay that those get revoked, which wouldn’t classify it as a breach of contract, but you’d need some solid Terms of Service describing that first. And, perhaps more importantly, you’d have to communicate the fact this channel is revoked first.

And there we have the core of the issue. That which lead to this sudden deletion of mine in the first place. Failure of communication.

I have never once been contacted by administration about their shadowbans, or about their perceived misuse of Newbie. I cannot know that our invisible, and mostly-quiet, moderator decided to just yoink channels from me. And it isn’t the OOC channel I was most worried about seeing function again, I’ve kept it mostly off the entire iteration.

It’s the Newbie channel. This new iteration comes with many topics of confusion, many new mechanics that aren’t clearly explained. So I had questions building up over the months of being unable to access Newbie. And petitions to see this fixed just didn’t seem to work, either. Am I in the wrong for being put in a corner, without knowing why or where, and then trying out of desperation to put a shred of pressure on the team working on this game? Can you expect someone not to build up a plethora of questions over months of play, and not feel pressured to try and do anything to get those questions aired?

I’m quite frankly upset he didn’t warn me, that he didn’t contact me, and proceeds to delete my account/character, and just paint me out in bad light in a post I couldn’t even access myself. I didn’t want to revoke those payments, I’d have been happy with getting an e-mail in reply with clarifications, with a promise it was being looked at, or even a comment that I was shadowbanned on the channel by him. That would have given me something to reflect on, or even something to contemplate on and eventually make a petition out of, to plead for reinstating those channel rights.

I apologize to those I’ve wrongly informed on Newbie. I can pin the blame on many things other than myself, but that leads us nowhere.

I apologize to Ouroboros, for what he assumed was bullying or unfair pressuring. It was a move out of desperation to get a semblance of communication established after exhausting attempts to do so prior.

And I move on. Wish it didn’t have to end this way. Wish I could continue playing, creating, and sharing stories. So long, all.

AFTER having your channels revoked, you sent money to someone accompanied by an extortion email threatening to have their banking transactions scrutinized by their financial institution for non-compliance with your demands.

Being annoying on channels is one thing, trying to sic Big Banking on someone for attention is another.

No one with 2 brain cells to rub together pities you.

    Fuckity bye.

There is a bit of a communication problem in Haven, though. The problem being that there generally is no communication whatsoever between staff and players. There’s the occasional announcement, but staff never talks to players. That can sometimes make it difficult. It sounds to me like Mojo was silently shadowbanned and never told abou tit, which is certainly iffy, no matter how much they may have brought it upon themselves.

    Appreciated, Marrow.

    1) I was never told about my channel bans.
    2) I had donated before any channels were revoked. I did not donate and demand my channels getting un-revoked with it. I’d have to even know they were banned..
    3) I was never communicated that, what I assumed were bugs causing my channels being buggy, was in fact Nova’s doing
    4) I was never informed when and where I misinformed on Newbie
    5) I hadn’t directly threatened having his finances investigated. I gave him a notice that I’d be seeking alternative options.
    6) Revoking donation gifts is kind of a breach of trust from what I know of law. I was crippled in my ability to play the game. I was not getting communicated to about this months-long bug. I was at a loss of other options to get any feedback on this issue. Giving him a notice I was considering approaching my bank to see about revoking those payments was, again, my last option to try and get ANY word out of Ouroboros regarding this issue.

Please stop acting like I was trying to ruin his credit rep. I am not acting like I have never shared possible misinformation on the newbie channel. I would’ve owned up to that, too, and taken a punishment for it. But you should give someone a memo when that happens. Crippling their ability to ask questions kills my creative ability.

I’m talking about a collective four months of what I could only assume was an actual bug, breaking my Newbie/OOC/CodeMonkey channel access.
