The battle’s begun, with rounds flying through the air and ricochetting off walls and other cover. There’s Selene taking the charge, though soon she too has to divert her movements to find somewhere to bunker up again, catch her breathing. And in good time, as reinforcement soon join her, and they’re promptly greeted with some hootin’. “Push them, I’ll be with you! Keep them pinned, men!”

While the brunt of the manforce deals with the swarm of Legionaires and their Lieutenant, Selene slips from the brawl to locate a fleeing mancer, and one carrying today’s object-of-interest. She sprints at him, quickly closing the distance and blocking off his escape. The two exchange blows, though most are evaded by the little Kingpin, who in turn finds a moment to send her knife deep into a weak point uncovered by their armour. Out the carrier is sent, with her retrieving the Atlas and returning to her troops.
