The Hand Takes Every Category This Week
Clean sweep for The Hand. Six operations attended, nobody else close except The Order with 1. Resources sit at 35850, dwarfing The Order's 450. Alchemical resources at 630, a category The Order did not touch. Arcane tasks went 6 to The Hand against 4 for The Order. Diplomatic tasks saw The Hand log 2, with nothing recorded against The Order in that column. Roads built split 43 for The Hand against 12 for The Order. The Hand carries 11 members. The Order carries 5. The Temple shows no tracked activity this week and sits at a population of 2. Nothing to report there. Every number above is the whole story. No category changed hands.
Concepcion Bids Sly a Vexed Farewell
Concepcion opened the memorial for Mister Sly with an eulogy that did not pretend he was a saint. She told the crowd he wanted a wife for politics and mistresses for drama, that his financial statements never arrived after his proposal, and that his last words to her were him calling her a vile woman before slamming his bedroom door. Liesel followed, revealing Sly had hired her to play a picnic for Concepcion on that very pier because, in her words, he cared for her. Callum eulogized Sly as a mentor who taught him that the five second rule applies at the beach and that only sex pests drive Bugattis, then scattered ashes into the water. Letitia got a face full of ashes mid-speech and yelled rat bastard at the urn. Serena recalled Sly deciding within a day of meeting her that he wanted to marry Concepcion instead. Things went sideways once Sevaht's grill opened up: Callum spat out a barely chewable burger, Serena was handed a worse one and spent the rest of the night vomiting over the railing convinced she'd been poisoned, insisting it was probably poisoned even as Callum walked her off for hydralite. Sevaht offered a free replacement burger and did not personally eat one.
Tish Turns Up at The Trove
Kai threw Letitia a birthday bash at The Trove and the real guest of honor was a stolen duckling, promptly named Goofy, who spent the night biting toes and chins and getting threatened with teriyaki sauce by half the room. Concepcion argued for Peking duck, crispy skin and all, while Shay insisted the little guy was just misunderstood and too young to eat. Gifts ran the gamut: Catriona ceremonially presented a Loki Season One DVD like scripture, Liesel handed over what turned out to be a Tide Pod, and Sly gave crab repellent that Letitia immediately declared destined for a frat house. Serena topped it with an obsidian ring that got the real reaction. Once the spin-the-bottle-style dare game started, Daphne flashed the room mid-dart-throw and called it even, Callum groped Kai for a photo, and Letitia hoisted her own boyfriend off the ground one-handed. Daphne clocked out early with a warning about axe throwing grip strength. Newcomer Sevaht wandered in with a guitar case, got mistaken for someone named Eddie Sly, and stuck around for the arm wrestling.
