About Me
My name’s Obadiah, but most people call me Obie. I run The Brine Pool Lounge and Obie’s Tacos, where the drinks are strong, the music’s smooth, and the lighting is always flattering. I’m a sucker for old sea stories, well-made cocktails, and people who can keep up with a little banter. Most days you‘ll find me behind the bar or out wandering antique shops looking for something weird and wonderful.

This man stands in an oak and mahogany library, leaning against the wall,
eyes downcast reading a book. It is very much staged to make him appear
smart and mysterious.
This is a bronzed skin man with tousled brown hair in his early thirties.
He is 5’9″ and has sun-kissed bronze skin, brown hair, and green eyes.
You can see his face, neck, and hands.
His hair is a dark, unruly wave that is thick and touchable, with a slight
curl that grows more pronounced the closer it gets to his collar. It always
looks like it’s just barely recovered from a sea breeze, artfully tousled
without seeming styled. A few strands fall over his brow when he leans
forward, and though he occasionally ties it back with a leather cord or
lets it fall messily around his face, it somehow suits every look he throws
together. His forehead is smooth but expressive, with a slight crease that
appears whenever he’s concentrating, or pretending to. There’s a faint
weathering to it, the kind of soft wear that suggests years under sun and
moonlight. A faint scar, nearly invisible, runs diagonally through his
right brow. These sea–green eyes are the kind that seem to shift with the
light. Sometimes they are a soft, murky jade, other times the sharp glint
of bottle glass dragged from the ocean floor. They’re framed by long, dark
lashes and faint crow’s feet that speak more to laughter and mischief than
age. His gaze is steady, often unreadable, but not cold – there’s always
something dancing beneath the surface, whether it’s amusement, curiosity,
or the weight something unspeakable. He sports a narrow jawline that tapers
into a clean, shadowed chin, usually brushed with a short, deliberate
stubble. His lips are full and frequently fall into a “resting tease face.”
There’s a certain roguish curve to his mouth. When he speaks, it’s often
with the corners of his mouth tugged slightly upward, like he’s in on a
joke no one else has heard yet. His neck is lean and smooth, lightly
freckled along the sides from long days in the sun. Just under the
collarbone, the faint edge of an inked symbol occasionally peeks out: a
knotwork anchor wrapped in thorns. From left jugular to just about his
Adam’s Apple, in a diagonal slashing motion, are three parallel scars that
are consistent with a powerful clawing wound. His hands are long-fingered
and dexterous, the kind of hands that can palm a coin, pour a flawless
drink, or tie a sailor’s knot without looking. His nails are clean and a
few faded scars crisscross his knuckles. On the inside of his right wrist
is a tattoo of a swirling black eye He smells faintly of expensive rum,
citrus, exotic spices, and the sea.
He is using:
(E) a newer generation iPhone protected in a blue OtterBox
(D) a tailored black vest with subtle embroidered detailing
(D) an orange silk dress shirt with French cuffs
(S) a band of tarnished silver that holds a polished onyx stone
(D) a pair of charcoal suiting slacks with clean-cut ankles
(D) polished oxblood brogues with subtle wingtip detailing
(intertwined) (E) a jade ring shaped like a coiled serpent in oceanic hues
