Description
Death – the final equalizer. The end of every journey. Everyone has lost someone; and in New Haven, though death can lose its grip temporarily, it still comes calling. This lantern festival is to remember the departed, to send them on their way, and to wish them well in their journey through the beyond. Come and partake in a psychopomp ritual – after a brief memorial service, participants will be able to place the names of their dearly departed into a lantern and release it into the sky, sending them on their way.
