Hello! Could we get a bit of an explainer on the new cdrives system? It’s a very cool system but I just don’t really understand it.
I tested it yesterday for the first time while attending a plot, targeting my cdrive confirmation requests at both the SR and another character. A little while after I was rated the following day, I received this echo:
You want to be a catgirl influences your life.
You fear not being a catgirl once again influences your life.
(As this is IC information, I’m redacting what the actual fear & ambition were.)
So what does this “once again influences your life” echo mean? Like what does the echo codedly reflect? My cdrive list looks the same, and I didn’t notice any vanishing off the list before.
I didn’t receive any karma (though I don’t know how I was rated); will it simply add a chunk to my karma gains next time the LLM calculates my payout from a plot/encounter?
Do character-targeted cdrive checks also boost karma, or do they do something else?
