    ‘Yours’..?

This isn’t ‘a big clique vs you’. This is us speaking up when someone’s crying and playing the victim, pointing fingers everywhere. Someone call the entire MUD out for something as simple as a Rumour, and suddenly this is mass conspiracy. Someone gets beat up due to having a hit put on them after bigtime asshole behaviour on chat. Suddenly, this is mass conspiracy and griefing. Some new cops get caught doing the most uncop things. Suddenly, everyone is making shit up and lying and it’s all mass conspiracy — while then simultaneously trying to bribe me, through someone else, to make the evidence of my spycam network vanish.

Not the way to mingle into the community.

Hell. Call us all a clique all you want. I’m sure many here can attest me + them don’t see eye to eye often. I’m one of the most isolationist players we have. I make rooms, shops, goods, props, outfits.

Lord, I am starting to get convinced I need to start logging on all my clients. Which I don’t, ’cause I play from: 3 work laptops, 2 work phones, a personal desktop, a personal laptop, a personal phone, and a tablet, depending on where I’m at or who I’m working for at the time. Because I vividly recalled you walking into my room several times. I saw you move towards, and away, from me several times. You did not interact. You did not go ‘lets fall back’. You just walked into a warehouse and shut the door.

This is going to be a repeat of some of the other posts, no? You, being the Cartman who can’t let anyone have a last word, and won’t see any wrongs in their ways. You literally opted for a stake. Read the helpfile: It crits or severes. Both are pretty much PK venues. You know how easy it is to let someone bleed to death when Severed? That isn’t ‘I just KO punch them, tie them up, and drag them away for punishment’. That is ‘I grab the double-barreled, put it to their throat, and just pull the trigger’ kind of a response. I’m out. I know this is not going to end until this topic gets locked, if ever, by Disco.

Here my end you absolute punce.

Leon says “Might be going down, Whaling Park”

Archne asks, “Can you catch your breath?” (Laststand)

Leon looks like he already caught his second wind.

Over your faction comms, Connie says, in a feminine, local accent, ‘Incoming.’

Over your faction comms, Robert says, a laconic, vaguely midwestern voice, ‘Raid or fight? Do you need assistance?’

Over your faction comms, Salim says, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘Hm?’

Archne says “Friendly fire not intended!”

Leon says “Hunter, Arachne is trying to kill me along with the monster.”

Over your faction comms, Salim says, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘On my way.’

Archne says “I said it wasn’t intended!”

    Connie says “Yeah. ”

Over your faction comms, Connie says, in a feminine, local accent, ‘Yeah.’

Connie says “I overloaded her comms so I don’t think anyone knows about it.”

Connie says “Unless you saw her talking.”

Connie says “Her corpse. Want me to take it, or you, anywhere?”

Leon shakes his back and forth as he grips his forehead and lets out a small groan of pain. He looks to Connie with blinking eyes as his vision returns to him and murmurs out softly, “Thanks Connie.” Sincere and true, his voice.

Connie says “No mist at Whaling Park. Corpse is Arachne’s kill, Leon’s severely injured, Arachne’s tied up.”

Your faction comms say, in a feminine, local accent, ‘No mist at Whaling Park. Corpse is Arachne’s kill, Leon’s severely injured, Arachne’s tied up.’

Connie says “Up to you lot what to do about it.”

Over your faction comms, Connie says, in a feminine, local accent, ‘Up to you lot what to do about it.’

Your faction comms say, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘I crashed my vehicle but I’m out of the mist.’

Archne comes to, apparently tied up, and exhausted. “Can someone please explain why I’m tied up?”

Connie says “Because I got an emergency call from Leon about you attacking him at a hunt at Whaling Park.”

Leon stands to his feet reaches inside his jacket and withdraws a wooden stake, spinning it round and round, until shoving it right through Archne’s chest.

    Connie says “Holy fuck.”

Over your faction comms, Robert says, a laconic, vaguely midwestern voice, ‘Arachne’s important in the Hand, so that could likely be leveraged. Could bring her back to interrogation to start with.’

Leon says “She staked for now. ”

Connie says “Leon just fucking staked her so I’m, uh, getting on my horse and fucking love.”

Your faction comms say, in a feminine, local accent, ‘Leon just fucking staked her so I’m, uh, getting on my horse and fucking love.’

    Connie says “Fucking off, mind.”

Your faction comms say, in a feminine, local accent, ‘Fucking off, mind.’

Archne gets immediately bleeds blood as she’s staked in a beating heart.

    Leon moves to Whaling Park.

Your faction comms say, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘Take her to a hospital.’

    Leon moves to High Street.

Over your faction comms, Salim says, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘Otherwise Kincaid’s life is likely to be as forfeit when the Hand finds out.’

Leon moves to a Lightning LS-218.
excellent sportsbike The Lightning LS-218 is a high-performance electric superbike known for its incredible speed and acceleration. It’s considered the world’s fastest production electric motorcycle, boasting a top speed of 218 mph and the ability to accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds. The LS-218 has also achieved land speed records exceeding 218 mph and has won prestigious competitions against gas-powered motorcycles. |5B XM24|

Your faction comms say, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘A stake is going to put her in critical condition.’

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

Leon says “Someone sabotaged my vehicle”

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

Leon says “Archne is north of Thornberry and Prospect. ”

Over your faction comms, Salim says, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘I’m getting her.’

Your faction comms say, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘Or attempting to’

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

You get a text: [Jun 15 20:36]Buck: Heads up, The Hand may be on their way. Don’t know if they have a location yet. Head on a swivel.

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

You text robert It’ll be faster if you can pick her up and taker her to the med bay in the Temple. My bike was sabotaged.

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

You get a text: [Jun 15 20:37]Robert: Carver said he was handling it, but I can drive over. One sec.

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

Over your faction comms, Robert says, a laconic, vaguely midwestern voice, ‘You still on retrieval, Carver, or should I drive over?’

Over your faction comms, Salim says, with a faint Levantine lilt, ‘Looking.’

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

You get a text: [Jun 15 20:37]7100229: Good evening. It seems we need to have a chat.

Archne makes a strangled noise low in her throat, blood steadily trickling down her mouth.

    Leon moves to Prospect Avenue.

    Leon says “Stop 143”

Leon moves to King and Prospect.

The only thing I saw was “lastand” and wasn’t even aware of OOCly wtf was going on. Why are you attributing I should understand and all times what is happening? I still was attacked ICLY by Arachne. This was just some willy nilly LULZ jump to instant PK.

You’re right, I didn’t acknowledge the context behind the character getting staked. The context is that you, as a player, are an immature grieftwink incapable of coherently characterizing an actual character with realistic motivations and interests and understanding of the world around them; you are only capable of playing cartoonish video game knockoffs who repeatedly take Ls, escalate in retaliation for taking the L, and push the envelope until they wind up dead because you’ve conflated your OOC ego with your main character syndrome cartoon IC depiction. I’m sorry things are bugged and you couldn’t get your OOC buddy to bring you back to annoy the people who gave you the first L some more.

    You are going down

    You get laststanded, so rescued.

You accidentally get hit because of Illusory Magic weirdness

    You see:
Archne says “Friendly fire not intended!”

    You see:
Archne says “I said it wasn’t intended!”

    You say:
I think staking is now a valid response.

Sure, bud. You are, indeed, an immature grieftwink incapable of coherently characterrizing an actual character with realistic motivations and interests or any understanding of the world around them; and instead, you push so many buttons and play so cocky and arrogant, that you end up wound up in the repercussions of your own actions which you have never been able to recognize as being due to your own actions, that you yourself set your bed ablaze and chose to lay down in it, only to then try and sue IKEA for this.

    Grow the fuck up.

I guess I will briefly kick dirt onto the grave of this beaten horse.

The issue with Leon as a character is he is believable. People get overcome by their shortcomings all the time. I just had an NPC an uncle of a murdered teenager essentially playing the same punisher/burntheworld/cantyouseeallthecorruption. The issue isn’t so much that Leon was hyper aggro at least in my mind. The issue was that you as Leon’s player weren’t self aware enough to understand what you were writing and how that is going to play out.

You either measure and balance for the longterm or you lean into it and embody that broken hunter of evil that has become compromised themselves and eventually self destructs. If you didn’t want to die you shouldn’t have been seeking conflict every day or multiple times a day. The pace was to high and it essentially signaled both IC/OOC that this ‘crusade’ would not stop until Leon was stopped.

Had you maybe taken the L, RPed being beaten to a bloody pulp. Recovering for an entire week. Re-equippping and re-arming and then selecting a new target from the list. You could have done that for several weeks assuming you lost everytime. If you had managed to win even one you get your antag scene you spout your manifesto you tell the victim EVERYONE WILL PAY rawr in blood rawr scary. Then you blow out their knees caps and walk away into hiding for at least 48 hours to let the knee jerk rapid response strike team period to blow over and RP to happen and people to mentally move on from the intensity of the incident. Then you come back and start going after the other people.

I don’t know it seems like basic writing 101 to me. Pacing. Signaling. Patience.

No, I wasn’t moving into your square, you kept pulling mist monsters, which kept dragging me into combat. I kept trying to move away, but I didn’t type anything because I was trying to leave, use the restroom, and avoid your mist grinding entirely. But you kept spawning mobs, which kept pulling me out of stealth, forcing me to focus on fighting instead of stepping away. That’s it. Not everything revolves around you, Mojo. Not everything is malicious. The screen is constantly moving, and I don’t catch every detail. When a man’s gotta go, he’s gotta go, FFS.
And no, I didn’t know staking severely or critically wounds vampires.

Spin City, Crayon—at it again. “Immature grief twink”? Because I kept things IC? Because my character responded to hostility with hostility, and didn’t roll over? “Only capable of playing knockoffs”? Want to run down the list of PCs I’ve written, scenes you’ve personally been in, and explain to the crowd how I’m just “emoting a parody,” not roleplaying with inspiration like everyone else does? It’s called influence, not imitation. So go ahead, name one instance where I wasn’t writing original thoughts, where I plagiarized, where I wasn’t putting my own voice and spin behind the character. Just one. You’re not critiquing you’re the one actually throwing a tantrum, but a clown is going to clown.

I’m well aware not everything revolves around me. So when I need to pull out of combat, I communicate. I don’t continue forcing combat, which -you- did. There were two spawns where I was literally stood still. You get that YOU moving around is causing spawns, right? I didn’t see a single ‘You hear something moving ahead of you’. And I communicated, but you were already running off and probably outside of earshot.

If you simply said ‘Gotta dip..’ ICly, we’d have both fallen back. You didn’t. This makes you appear like a total griefer even when it isn’t intended. This is basic human interaction, you know? If I’m on a shift with someone, and I gotta head to the toilet, I don’t just run out and leave them surprised why there’s too many phones a-ringing and only they are around to pick it up.

“And no, I didn’t know staking severely or critically wounds vampires.”
HELP STAKING. You knew about stakes. This has a helpfile. It’s less than a hundred words. Key notes:

Staking inflicts a severe wound on a vampire and places him in a state of
    paralysis.

Staking a living character will critically wound him.

You’re just making up excuses now. Again, grow the fuck up.

I did wait more or less a week…. June 15th was the whole Stake fiasco. June 19th was when Arachne antagized Leon. I didn’t hunt down Matias that was a LOOKFOR prompt; that was pure coincidence.

Brother, FFS, so staking doesn’t kill a vampire? I don’t have omniscience. I remember reading that it doesn’t, and I acted on that info.
Leon staked Arachne because he thought she was a vampire. Read the part where I literally said he was acting on bad intel.

Here I’ll type it out again for you: I had to use the restroom, every time I used HIDE, you pulled another pack of Mist Monsters, I stayed to help kill them as they weren’t just 1 or 2 peeps. The agony to use the restroom grew over TEN MINUTES of mist fighting. Each time I used HIDE you kept pulling more mists monsters. I need to use the restroom. You kept pulling mists monsters. Next time explain in AID what your issue is if you are going to assume the worse. I needed to use the restroom!

I didn’t say anything about me. It’s my understanding you attacked someone. Got beat. Then same day attacked the same group. Matias literally advocated for NOT killing Leon because he was a faculty member of windermere so don’t look at me.

    News flash.

Severed, or critted, chars bleed out. Severing or Critting a char is basically a PK attempt. You cripple them for days, and possibly kill them through LF bleed.

You must have acted on meta knowledge. It isn’t too hard to spot vampires. We literally have skills for it. You can research, too. Probably just made some OOC assumption. Either way, you staked straight away. There’s no way you did not know that doesn’t wound the target. The helpfile on the item is super short, and it isn’t like even the existence of stakes is mentioned ANYWHERE other than its own helpfile and the helpfile on vampires (which just tells you to look at the stake helpfile)

And what part of ‘communicate’ is hard to understand? You pulled monsters, not me. You had to bail. Could have communicated. You didn’t. You are then surprised you come off as a total asshole for leaving a single PC to fight 4+ mobs alone. You can’t.

Do you even know how to human?

    Kaiser
    Participant

No, I’ve been severed 3 times in New Haven, you don’t die from Severe. No, I didn’t act on meta knowledge, Robert, told Leon that Arachne is a Vampire because of a coffin party or some such nonsense. Leon took it as fact.

What part of I had to use the restroom don’t you understand? Are you so inconsiderate that I owe you all my attention and all my time? Was me spamming Hide not a clear indicator I was trying to Hide? Had you stopped for 1 minute I might of been able to ask you to stop. I didn’t get a breath until the warehouse and at that point I said, “f-it” in my head and ran to the restroom.

Do you even know how to human?
