I think player experience is pretty important. The ability to enjoy and not have anxiety you are messing things up or wasting X days or Y weeks by doing something in a suboptimal manner. I think when people take the time to run encounters and plots that is a player that is engaging with creating content. Whether that content is good or for the sake of others or just for the sake of progression does not matter. What matters is that is content for Haven and it is supposed to be rewarded with Karma which is considered a rare/tedious/timely resource to gather.

My request / suggestion is 2 options

    1) Karma be immediately rewarded at the end of a plot or encounter (or other karma provider). This way players know if something has bugged. This way players know what they got for their efforts. No waiting then going wait is that all I got or is that from something else then putting in tickets that might consume staff time.

    2) Instead of immediate reward. When Karma is paid out add a MESSAGE like with clues and stuff stating you gained XXXX Karma from PLOT or ENCOUNTER. This way people know when they have been paid out and how much they got and if something seems wrong they have something concrete to reference. You can even assign an identifier tag so you can use the message to backtrace to whatever the calculation was for the karma. Then log all the karma calculations into a database so you can review for unintended results.

I think this immediacy and/or this clearer communication will reduce a lot of player anxiety and disappointment related to running things and not being sure if they have been properly rewarded for it or if they need to put in a ticket.
