You guys remember the glory days the Halcyon entirely blessed Haven by leaving and taking all of her friends with her? The mud population dropped from 90 to 75, but that was still okay.

Then she and her posse came back and the mud population dropped from 75 to 40… She should have stayed gone so Haven could be great again.

I sure the hell do. If she fuckin left again and took everybody with her that she did last time the good writers could come back, she and her clique drive every AMAZING writer away with their petty OOC bullshit. They always have the same claim that it’s all IC, but can’t EVER give any logical reason for their character’s actions that any circumstance in the game they’ve been in, or from their history, or from their concept, or from their roleplay with others would ever account for.

No joke there at all. I remember a scene she was heading up where she had, as a lowly T2, confronted a T3 played by someone who she had been trying to frame up as RG, the nickname we gave Halcyon for all the times she raged when things didn’t go her way. How it even came about was that she had talked shit to this character so much and so relentlessly and so uncharacteristic of how she treated anyone else who played that kind of character, that this T3 came at her. She was in the Hand but it wasn’t Hand people who intervened to protect her from the Orderite she’d been antagonizing. The rest of the Order took down the would-be hero and helped her run an antag scene. NONE of them were affected by ANY ritual or IC circumstance, she had legit just called out over Legends for the Order to handle one of their own and they came running for that OOC reason.

(This is why Tyr made the OOC and Legends channels, so that people who paid his rent every month were free to cheat in any manner desired while everyone else allegedly never knew about it. Also why the Newbie channel is heavy-handedly guarded against the slightest mention of rules that people are breaking. Since Newbie channel is accessible to all, it would expose them for their cheating. Only the people in the right have ever been Trollreported, but the actual trolls, the people the command is made to be used on, are immune to it by Tyr undoing any punishment actually deserved.)

That’s not even all. In the antag scene, the other Orderites and the innocent victim where roleplaying a scene as normal, and just because it was going to fast for Halcyon’s liking, she emoted: emote IS RUNNING AN ANTAG SCENE AND YOU WILL RESPECT IT.

Now, the proper thing to do when someone emotes like that is to report their emote, all as a group, and have them removed from the scene. Not only did she go unpunished but this was supported by Tyr, who immkilled her victim for simply obeying the rules, and being brand new to the game at the time.

What’s even worse is Halcyon’s victim in that instance was a beautiful writer, and she committed suicide over that, because she had been abused, not ICly, but OOCly by the entire mud because of Halcyon. She’s not the only one either. I have other friends who used to play here that she drove to suicide with her Cyber Terrorism.

Ah, yeah I detected her doing this to me earlier when she asked my character if she liked tophats. I happen to remember the tell you sent me, Liara, about your Naga character that she forcibly turned into a Kobold even though there is absolutely no lore anywhere stating that a bipedal SNAKE creature is a Kobold. You should have just told her right then the truth instead of just rolling with it, and watched her bitch and rage at you when she didn’t get her way. Halcyon needs to do the world a favor and kill herself so other people, ones who actually don’t deserve to die, stop killing themselves in her place.

You forgot how Tyr, Daed, and Discordance collectively lie to everybody by claiming multiple users are the same person even on forums. They actually think anyone believes their deep-fake “screen shots” where they photo edit to make 19 entirely different people, 8 of whom I’ve video conferenced at the same time btw, “have” one single IP.

The peanut gallery wants to know. Can you write a rough timeline of Haven the golden ages, the terrible periods, and all the hidden drama between. Who are these 19 people? Why were 8 of them on a call? How did you video conference them and know their IPs? The world needs to know.

I’ve never run a MUD so I can’t really say how feasible it is to keep someone out of the community, but we can certainly deduce that that numerous days go by without Nova glancing at the forums at all. Also, for as much as I’ve grumbled about the automoderator, where is it now?

If RG were as mentally unwell as they are demonstrating here they would most likely be in a non-optional mental health facility or completely homeless. They are obviously a troll who is 1 bored players afternoon away from being reported to some local police departments cybercrime unit for death threats.

I don’t think it’s someone who’s just messing with the Haven community for the lulz, or whatever the youngsters call it these days. This has been going on for so many years that it has to be more than that. No mere internet troll is that persistent.

People are not locked up in institutions just because they’re mentally ill. They would have to be dangerous or criminally insane in order to be deprived of freedoms to such an extent that they can’t even get online. While mental illness is clearly a factor here, there’s plenty of people with this degree of disconnection from reality who live freely in society. It’s just that Haven is a small enough community that this is our one prominent representative of it.

All this to say that you get nothing out of engaging with RG. For whatever reason, Haven has never been able to get rid of them, and it has been a recurring issue for as long as I can remember. The best response is no response. You don’t get anything out of prodding them for answers, because that’s always going to be either a badly-faked attempt at victimhood, or else “HAHA DIE ALL OF YOU, THERE’S THOUSANDS OF US” or something equally silly.
