About the different affinity stats at the end of the arcane foci branches (Illusory affinity and natural affinity), since they essentially empower shapeshifters to use magic abilities while animals, would it be acceptable to add little touches to the animals to indicate this visually? Nothing major or overt, but little things like for instance oddly bright scales in some shifter with illusory affinity, or fur that lets off sparks every now and then with natural affinity. Those kinds of little details that really don’t change much, or change the animal itself but that add that little touch of “This is a magically attuned animal” rather than just another normal one.
Small details that aren’t too big and don’t enter the terrain or are similar to Mythical Shifting.

Should this be acceptable or should we avoid doing things like these?
