in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28668
Is the time for tiering back up calculated from when the hunt occurred or when the escape command is used?
Ie, does someone that waits the 10 weeks then also have to wait 2.5 months (another 10 weeks) to tier back up if they escape unethically into the newbie school?
in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28649Additional question:
How much karma does it cost to get rid of the Hunt Escapee modifier? However much was lost (10k for T2)? Or 25k like a full tier up situation?Because if it is the later, then the Wild Hunt is even more of a rip off than I considered it before. (Because then it is not a loss of 10k, it is a loss of 35k for something you already previously earned)
in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28647100 karma per day, sorry.
in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28646(Apparently, some of y’all don’t remember the 10k karma debt from before… So as a reminder, we went 100 days losing 1000 karma per day to get some extra karma to start. I did not use that 10k for tier or focus points)
in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28645Yes, you can do basic math. Reality: I have 23k karma and just lost 10k spent to the Wild Hunt. Now kindly, again, go away. This post is for Nova.
in reply to: The Wild Hunt #28643That misinformation is my reality. I have literally petitioned every plot I have done for sub-par rewards and had it returned investigated. So kindly get out of my post as I requested. My last plot got 7k karma. My 3 session plot got 11k. Keep in mind, these are with Awards active. So insert a Your Mileage May Vary disclaimer, but my karma awards have been jank. That is my reality.
in reply to: Shop/Store Profits #20547In H6, Newbie Credit and Cash from shops both went to the owner after being calculated through a formula. Only for goods actually purchased with the Buy command, not for items customized (and value raised) though.
in reply to: Schemes Costing Favour #18910Ewwwww. Hopefully that’s just an error. Make sure you petition it to be sure. It may not get you the favor back, but at least it would keep favor from being taken across so many characters. If nothing else, it will see that Help Order gets updated, because currently it still says 500 Influence is the cost, which is far, far more reasonable and representative of the actual act (influencing NPCs to gain information).
I really do think that has to be a mistake. If it isn’t… Schemes are just going to be pointless/annoying/constant. No one is gonna dump 100 favor on research for every stupid scheme that drops, and thus, no one is going to thwart them, so no one will run them for potential karma. There is no incentive at any level at that point.
in reply to: Raids were a mistake #18692The only one I have managed to make it to, first, I drove to the borough where it was supposed to happen and waited for the notification. It took me a minute to arrive that way. Second, the few times I tried from outside the borough, the game crashed before I even got there. Then I was just stuck in my ride for 30 minutes to arrive at nothing. That kinda sucked.
The problem I have is it immediately set us up against friggin’ 40 NPCs. And while I might have been able to whittle 40 NPCs down on my T5 in H6 over the course of 45 minutes… It is certainly not a good experience for ‘the first raid of the iteration.’
The only good thing I can say about it is this: Those present for it abandoned any idea of attacking each other to focus on the incoming tidal wave of ranged attacks that destroyed cover in a round then picked us off one after the other. This gave the game a very ‘us’ versus ‘it’ feeling, pitting ALL of the assembled groups against the 63rd. But that novelty will likely wear off if the numbers are adjusted (as I absolutely think they should be, and maybe even have already been).
If the numbers get modified, then this will feel much less like PvE and more like PvP again. Which is ultimately good for both the game and folks like Cutie. Not sure how much PvP is happening on this grid. I have heard about some, but really not a lot.
