There will now be more frequent 63rd raids and each raid will have a unique NPC lieutenant boss mob
    with custom abilities.

You can read help lieutenants for information the powers guest lieutenants now have in boroughs that
    the 63rd controls.

There’s an IC newspaper on the game’s website, under ‘World’

Subj: We have rules for a reason
    Time: Mon Sep 1 14:40:34 2025

I haven’t thoroughly investigated so I might be getting some of this wrong but:
Someone created a guest monster, at some point people start RPing that this isn’t a monster with the
limitations and abilities thereof but rather a Fae God, something which doesn’t exist in the lore,
and has all sorts of vast powers. The monster kidnaps a fabled off grid which is really codely the
end of the monster. But the fabled comes back and runs a scheme, this is not ICly a scheme by the
actual author or even by the cult that’s listed though, it’s ICly supposedly a thing being done by
the Fae God. Additionally unlike other schemes which are problems to be thwarted, this one can’t
really be thwarted you just gotta do something for the Fae God then he’ll stop it, lest he kill the
fabled with special Fae God powers. Some people did RP about these special requirements, but then
some other people did a fairly regular scheme thwart and thwarted it. Then the fabled went helpless
and asked a friend OOCly to execute them, and people RPed that the Fae God had killed her for people
being bad, leading to ultimate recriminations about if it’s the fault of the people who ran the
scheme without knowing about the threat, or the fault of the people who had done the RP about it for
not predicting the behaviour of everyone else in order to pass the info along.

This is a bit like ICly punching someone only to have them immediately go helpless, their friend to
run execute code and then yell at you for killing them with your punch and you turning to squabble
with your friend over how it’s their fault they didn’t tell you about this person’s super fragile
    chin.

This is an issue which crops up now and again because of the nature of RP games. Obviously you can
use the freeform parts of the game, like emote, to do whatever you want. Nothing stops you from
emoting growing a third arm and slapping someone and if people go along with that it basically
works. So if you want to do stuff which is cooler, or specialer or more important you can just
ignore code/lore and RP stuff that’s cooler or what have you. This can seem at first blush to work
really well, people are generally unwilling to be the one to cause problems or are enjoying the
cooler/better/more important story and for a while you soar near the sun with everything seeming
    great.

Until it doesn’t. The problem is that unlike a movie, or novel or even TTRPG, an online RP game is a
whole bunch of different random people with different playtimes, play groups, information,
preferences etc and when you move into the realm of ‘making shit up’ you inevitably run into people
who don’t know what you made up or just don’t like it, they might think it’s immersion breaking,
stupid, minimizing other stories, gross or even offensive. And since you just made it up there’s no
system for negotiating what’s real, or no system other than whoever’s loudest and most annoying
determines the reality. This is why it’s always true that both you will be able to tell a better
story if you have no rules/restrictions and a game without rules/restrictions will inevitably fail.

And so we have rules that you can’t RP things which don’t have code support and story ideas are
subject to oversight to ensure they don’t go off lore. There is no way to reasonably police people’s
every IC action so it’s really on players to follow these rules and if you see someone getting ahead
of themselves to say something or at least don’t go along with it.

I can’t tell people how to best retcon the previous situation, it’s probably going to depend on
their individual circumstances, but it at least should not involve any reasonably supernaturally
aware character believing that monsters are actually super powerful Fae Gods with the power to kill
people in other realities whenever they want.

    Subj: Player Removal
    Time: Wed Sep 3 06:35:58 2025

The player of Aishia has been removed from the game. Throughout the iteration I’ve had to take their
channels away multiple times as they’d frequently misuse newbie. I had historically relented and
given the channel back since I did feel a little bad. I’m not sure what was going on with them but
they seemed to have some issue where they mispercieved reality and were constantly confidently
claiming things that were definitely not at all true. This seemed like it definitely couldn’t be
their fault/on purpose so I tried to be lenient even though it was a little frustrating since other
people seemed to believe them and the hallucinations were generally fairly negative towards the
    game/had a heavy persecution bent.

After the most recent suspension of their channels I got an email saying they had donated
$200(They’d actually donated $100) and demanding I reinstate their channels or they’d contact their
bank over my failure to provide the service they paid for. So I refunded all their donations and
    removed them from the game.

I’m writing this just to head off any potential rumor-mongering but also because this is the second
time someone’s tried to use the fact they donated to pressure me to treat them better and I think
it’s worth saying this will never work and will most likely backfire. Donations are welcome but they
are donations, you do not get extra rights over other players, you do not get better treatment,
attempts to try and bully or pressure the administration are unlikely to work in your favor.

    Sincerly,
    Nova.

You can now use the ‘purity’ bargain to trade rpxp for reduced Invitation and potentially acedia.

I’m fairly sure I’ve squashed all dreamworld related bugs and they should all be working ok now.

Subj: Large Items and Content Warnings
    Time: Thu Jul 17 09:19:50 2025

In help customize there’s this line:

Large: Makes the object a large object. Large objects require the lift command to move.

If you do customize (object) large it will make the object unstealable if it’s on the ground. This
is not the same as just doing size large in the customization editor, you have to type customize
(object) large. This works on any type of object and has for at least five years.

Secondly, as a reminder you may not discuss or involve restricted content in public RP or RP with
people who haven’t opted in. I’m aware that content warnings were a little buggy when the game
opened but they are not anymore.

If someone is violating the content rules and you want to report them you should do so via a
petition with either a log or the fairly precise day/time the character did the thing and enough
detail about what they said/emoted etc that I can find it. This report also should be from a player
who actually was unwillingly exposed to the content.

I need the day/time so I can check the logs for what content warnings were active at that time, and
it needs to be from someone exposed so I know someone was actually bothered given that there can be
grey areas or people sometimes just make mistakes.

People who break rules may initially just get warnings or milder punishments depending on the
circumstances so if you make a report and don’t see anything that does not mean nothing happened or
there’s no point making a new petition if it happens again.

Created a new album command you can use to save and forward any the photos your character has been sent.

Updated wish so it now goes to every elligible target in the same borough.

Updated coinflip/luck so they now will go to the closest elligible target if none are in the room with you.

Added new commands sensedesire and sensedread, these prompt the target to remind them that you have those traits or if used with the ‘probing’ argument cost 1%LF and will let you see their next internal emote.
