Rems Performance At The Succubus 240330

At the Succubus Club, a venue resonant with the pulse of club music yet intimate enough for performances, Rem takes the stage, welcoming the audience into an evening suffused with melody and camaraderie. The performance begins with a lively rendition of Onerepublic's "Someday," setting an upbeat tone as Rem dances and engages with the crowd, sparking a tangible connection that draws in both regular attendees and intrigued newcomers alike. Harriet, sitting nearby, anticipates the show alongside Viktorin, whose viridian gaze is locked in anticipation. As the first song concludes and Rem transitions into a potentially original, melancholic piece, the audience is visibly moved, their emotional reactions ranging from wistful smiles to more profound, unguarded moments of vulnerability.

Rem's ability to evoke a spectrum of emotions is further showcased in her haunting second song, a melody so filled with sorrow and longing that it grips the audience, eliciting deeply personal reactions. Harriet, caught in the spell of the music, lets out a moan, visibly affected by the performance in a way that blends disquiet with elation. The effect of Rem's voice, carrying a language unknown yet universally understood through its raw emotion, wraps every listener in a shared experience of melancholy and reflection. As the evening progresses, Rem gracefully transitions between moods, introducing an upbeat pop track, then moving back to a reflective, acoustic performance, displaying her versatile talent and deep connection with her audience. The night culminates with a sense of communal appreciation, as Rem thanks everyone for their presence and the audience, including figures like Viktorin, Peyton, and Autumn, respond with applause and heartfelt accolades, acknowledging the power of music to unite disparate souls within the ephemeral sanctuary of The Succubus Club.

At the Front Bar and Lounge of The Succubus Club
Though the thrum of club music greets visitors fresh in the door, the
sound is muted in this front partition bar, granting space for
conversational drinks and a place to request bottle service. The building
itself is a converted club warehouse, design sleek with the flash of modern
club setting and new renovation. Floating shelves with LED accent lighting
and a lit glass back drop lays scene for a multitude of liquor bottles
behind the bar, ranging from well club swills and beer displays to premium
bottles with prettier and pricier labels. The bar itself is long and topped
with smoked, sheened glass on the top surface, space for standing lounge
available toward the ends, past the available line of seating. A few pieces
of lounge furniture is on the other side of the room for more intimate
gathering away from the music and a smoking patio is visible through the
front doors when they open.

The bar area extends into a wide open dance floor ahead with waitress
service and wall lounge seating, the energy of the dance and trap music
compelling movement.

It is about 50F(10C) degrees.

Rem says "Ah! "
Rem says "It is time is it not? Hello, hello come in one and all."
Harriet sits up a little more as she looks over at Rem from where she sits in the lounge area.

The dusky demigod awaits, patiently. His eyes flicker here and there, left and right, sighing a little. And then Viktorin's viridian attention is returned to Rem, awaiting and awaiting for her anticipated performance.

Rem sits up, adjusting the mic. She looks upon the crowd and smiles. "How is everyone doing this evening? Please, have some drinks, enjoy your evening, talk freely amongst yourself and enjoy."

Harriet sits there, relaxing, and waiting for the show to begin.

Rem(Tech diffs, one sec!)

The backing track, or if the Succubus Club had the resources to fannagle her a band, the band begins to play for Onerepublic's Someday, a warm up bit of karaoke for the crowd. Rem starts out with some brightness, moving from the seated stool in front of the microphone to stand, doing some bouncy steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNfgVjZF8_4

Rem humms happily, her voice singing out radiantly as she sings, "I'll be yours, and you'll be mine, babe, happy!" She winks at Viktorin

Rem later repeats. "I'll be yours, and you'll be mine, babe, happy "

Silas turns towards Rem to watch the woman's performance. He remains quiet and glances to Viktorin with a tilted head before turning back to watch the performer once again.

Viktorin listens quietly, tilting his head. And then he blushes furiously, his eyes growing hazy. Dull.

Watching Rem sing, a grin appears on Autumn's face as she turns her head to glance at Viktorin. Her head starts to bob at the beat of the music.

Rem' first song ends and she smiles brightly at the audience. "Thank you! A lovely perfect crowd," she gazes at Autumn happily. Then she begins a new song. This one is not any have heard, an original perhaps? She gazes at Autumn as she sings.

Harriet says "Goodness. I wonder if they found my gift."
Harriet claps for Rem from her place near Viktorin, Autumn, and Silas.

Rem's song is haunting, a soulful melody that comes from a place of such deep misery it might bring a tear to ones eye. The language is none they have ever heard before, but the emotion is clear.

One minute Harriet is sitting there, watching Rem perform like anyone else... poised and polite, taking in the music... and then the next she's closing her eyes and parting soft lips. Out comes a sound that is not just /like/ a moan, it most definitely is one. Awkward. Her tongue slips out, sliding from right to left before retreating back inside of her mouth, and slim fingers flex against her own thighs as she's washed over by something that is apparently quite fulfilling in some manner.

Viktorin blinks quietly, faintly smiling in approval at the misery and melancholy. It's a wistful smile, one that doesn't quite reach his cheeks, but it's there. His eyes, still dazed, foggy, heated, linger upon Rem, never daring to stray from her. Even when a glass is lifted to partake of the cocktail within.

Rem exhales as a haunting melody heard from outside the bar dies down, shortly after Peyton enters. She wipes tears from her face and rises to a stand.

Listening to Rem's second song, its melancholic melody reaches Autumn as her gaze falls back to the woman. And then a smile forms on her face and she hums before she covers her mouth with one hand while she crosses her legs a bit.

The band drifts back into focus and she begins to sway happily, Rem humms a soothing melody.

Peyton makes an entrance, as one does dressed like she does, but the impact of it is left in question in the face of the raw emotional energy permeating the room. She pauses near the entrance almost respectfully for a moment, tilting her head as if she might catch an echo of what she heard coming in. After a moment she makes her way over to the lounge, slipping stealthily into a open spot there via whatever means necessary. "Hey ya'll." She greets in a loud-quiet bar voice.

Harriet really, really likes whatever is going on. She's smiling quite a bit, but it is very sultry, and with a need for more of whatever is happening within this place. The brunette shifts a little, and she emits a small laugh, completely unaware at the moment of just how swept up she is in the mood that would make other people melancholy. Yet, here she is, living her best life. "Hello, Miss Bennett," she manages, hazel eyes glittering as she looks over at someone whilst Rem sings.

Rem gazes at Peyton. "Welcome," she says in a melodic tone. "Stay and listen, get a drink, enjoy yourself tonight. Everyone."

Viktorin briefly inclines his head towards Peyton, murmuring softly, "Good eve, Miss Bennett."

Rem sways and launches into an upbeat pop track. She dances energetically, upbeat and joyous, beginning to sing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0o44ylhQnQ

Rem's third song comes to an end as she gazes out at her audience, adoring, fondly. "You're all just so lovely," she says, moving to take a seat. "I love you all so much!"

Rem says "I love you! I need a quick drink and then I'll resume-"
Peyton leans back slightly in her chair, listening casually. She brushes off the waitress apologetically when approached for a drink order, raising her voice a little more at the lul in the singing. "Usually already long gone by this time, but I have some things to do in the morning in the city so I'm starting a little later." She says, conversationally.

Viktorin flicks his gaze towards Harriet, curiously regarding them.

Rem makes a quick order at the bar, heading back to stage to take the seat.

"I love you too!" Autumn cheers towards Rem with a smile. "Your singing is amazing." She then starts to blush and quickly sips her drink?

Harriet gives a nod of understanding to Peyton. "Yes, I am quite surprised to see you about at this hour, but I am certainly not complaining," she expresses to the Boston bound blonde. She nods in agreement with what Autumn says to Rem, looking over as the singer returns to the stage.

Peyton nods her head seriously, pursing her lips as she peers down to inspect her long fingernails. "I had to pick up my car anyhow, had a little fun with the Syndicate earlier." She says, scrunching her nose up.

Rem humms another melody. And leans aside and snags a guitar, seated stage a moment, then she begins to slowly strum.

Rem says "How was your day..."
Rem says "How was your day..."
Rem says "Was it okay...?"
"Oh," Harriet replies to Peyton, her lips thinning as she tries to figure out if the blonde was the winner or the loser in that meeting. "They used to come and visit me twice a month," she admits. "Sarah had the honour of purchasing me once..." Her voice trails off. "Solomon Inigo saw me for the first time there, too, in the hands of the Syndicate... I was completely naked..." Nose scrunching some, she expresses, "Ah... memories..." Hazel eyes watch as Rem performs on stage.

Rem strums gently launching into rendition of an acoustic song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4YPn7eQt2M&pp=ygUQaG93IHdhcyB5b3VyIGRheQ/3D/3D

Rem leans back and forth. "Cause we haven't talked in a while," her voice melts into the air about her. "Forgotten how you used to smile..."

Rem says "What do you look like?"
Rem strums happily, her voice carrying a lilting sadness, a longing. Her gaze passes over the crowd.

Humming, the blush stays on Autumn's face and she relaxes in her seat. She places her fur coat onto her lap before she nods to Harriet. "I did got caught by them as well few times," she says in a rather quiet tone. "Last time I was caught, it took long time before they threw me out into forest since there were no buyers."

"You used to want me..." Rem whispers across the microphone.

Peyton peers over at Harriet, quirking her bold red lips as she rolls a shoulder demurely. "I was wearing something cute at least. But they just dumped me in the forest. I suppose all the usual suspects were too busy to come bid." She says softly. "Not that I am complaining." She clarifies.

Still listening, Viktorin takes another sip of his cocktail. A small, faint smile graces his lips as he notes the lilting sadness. Distantly he turns his gaze, regarding the wall, still listening to Rem.

Silas recovers from his emotions and looks up to notice Peyton has joined the group and he waves to her, "Sorry about that, I think I got stuck in thought. The Syndicate is a pain in the ass." He looks up towards Rem on thes tage, singing once again.

Harriet watches as Rem continues to sing. She listens to Autumn, able to relate to it a great deal. "I have encountered that situation a few times myself. Nicholas had to come pick me up once after I got dumped in the forest, thankfully wearing a bra and panties. I do prefer when there are no buyers," is admitting, and she nods in agreement with Silas's assessment.

Harriet tells Peyton, "I am glad that you are all right."

Reaching near the end of the song, "Remember when we used to smile...you used to miss me..." Rem smiles sadly, sweetly, "Guess it's not hard to believe...that things have to change. Like the weather and the days, but the thing that I know is that I..." She closes her eyes, adding, "Wanna be with you."

Peyton parkours her way back out of the booth, striking a bit of a pose and waving to all before she starts to saunter out. She pantomimes her farewell silently. High heels and wiggle dress make for quite the show, like two cats fighting over a fishbone as she sashays out at a dramatic catwalk.

Harriet blows Peyton a kiss. "See you, Miss Bennett," she calls after the blonde. "Text me later."

Rem smiles and waves, strumming a few notes. "Thank you, everyone for attending my performance. A bit of a scattered series of moods, but, well. That's life I think sometimes. Hard to pretend it's all one or another," she says cheerily.

"Goodnight, Peyton, have a safe trip," Silas says to Peyton, watching her catwalk on out, waving in her direction.

Peyton catches the kiss in mid air and sassily plants it on her butt cheek, before making her escape into the night.

Silas begins to clap at Rem announcing that her performance is over, "You're welcome, Rem! I am glad I could make it out! I did invite some other people but I think they got stuck at work and that is how it goes, or maybe the Syndicate got them."

Viktorin claps politely, fingers to palm to soften the noise. "You were wonderful," Viktorin murmurs about Rem.

Harriet applauds for Rem, and she doesn't look all that surprised by Silas's words -- like she actually believes that scenario is quite possible.

Rem says "Thank you! Thank you all."
"You were amazing!" Autumn applauds towards Rem, grinning and raising her glass. "Wonderful performance."

Rem smiles bows to Autumn.

Silas waves Rem over towards the seating and says, "If you are done performing tonight, come join us? We won't bite, much." He leans back into the seating arrangement, smiling at his present company, "I should get a drink."

Rem nods graciously to Silas. "Of course, happily," she says with a smile.

Rem gazes at Harriet. "Ah, did I do enough work to earn my pay? Rem deserves a tip perhaps?" She giggles.

Rem orders some drinks, handing them out to whomever wants them.

Viktorin blinks at Autumn, asking, "Get lucky?"

humms. "Did Alexander not join you?" Rem asks Viktorin and Harriet.

Viktorin shakes his head, informing Rem, "He's still resting at home."
