The disciples, also known as the disciples of Zarathustra are a primarily supernatural group dedicated to the art of self perfection. Devoted adepts of Nietzschean philosophy the disciples see themselves as the overmen predicted by his work 'Thus spoke Zarathustra'.

The Overman as understood by the disciples is to man as man are to animals, a person who does not belong to the herd but rather creates meaning and morality for themselves, an entity that has surpassed or transcended beyond simply being human.

In a practical sense this means the disciples are obsessed with self perfection, discipline and individuality. They work rigorously to improve themselves both physically and mentally. They are also deeply interested in fleshforming, and performance enhancing drugs or augmentations. Many disciples are demonborn and they are often condemned for idealizing or looking up to demons. Indeed as demons are the ultimate living weapons many disciples do indeed try to become more like them, from personal modifications to simple aesthetic emulation. However while some are indeed demon worshipers, others have no wish to emulate demonic sadism or desire for pain or destruction, simply admiring the beauty of the power of demons.

While the path to perfection is ultimately a lonely one, disciples tend to work together in order to have training partners, and combine their resources to better obtain their goals of self-perfection. They are traditionally a very militant organization and are often employed to provide security or enforcement by less combatively powerful groups.

The main goals of the disciples are an acquisition of wealth and power in order to fund and support their training and experimentation as well as a search for worthy challenges with which they can test themselves and/or learn from.
