The New Trinitarian Order

Name: The New Trinitarian Order Affiliation: The Catholic Church Symbol: A cross, the vertical line red and the horizontal line blue, on a white background

Overview

The New Trinitarian Order is a religious sect within the Catholic Church that ministers to the supernaturals of the world and attempts to redeem and rehabilitate them. The Trinitarians have outreach programs and charities for the public, but will attempt to convince supernaturals to turn aside from their abilities. Those that can't - or won't - are encouraged to use these abilities in service to the Church, as a penance and a path to redemption.

The New Trinitarian Order is designed as a refuge for those that aren't lost to the corruption of the supernatural world, or for those that cannot protect themselves. It also houses priests that are sworn by the Venetian Oath and conditioned to keep the secrets of the confessional, allowing even the most dangerous monsters to admit to their sins.

Despite the close ties to the church, the New Trinitarian Order is not restricted to Catholics, or even Christians. Other faiths are welcome, as long as it is not disruptive, but the leadership is restricted to the Church.
