Blood
Human blood in Haven can be put to many various and powerful uses. It can be obtained in two ways. A civilian can go to the blood bank and type Giveblood. This will have them go through the process of giving blood and then slip the nurse $10 to let them keep it, it inflicts a mild wound. Alternatively someone can spend 500 influence to buy a bag of blood from the blood bank with buy blood.
Blood can then be transformed into usable life energy and stored in a blood crystal. These are available from faction headquarters. To transfer the energy into the crystal use libate (crystal) (bag).
With a charged crystal in your inventory you can perform rituals, see help ritual for more information.
You can also activate artifacts with it, to do this simply type Activate (item).
Artifacts level three or below require one unit of any type of blood to activate. Artifacts level five require one unit of virgin blood, or three units of any blood.
Artifact Melee Weapons of level four take one unit of demonborn blood to activate or two units of any blood. Artifact Ranged Weapons of level four take one unit of angelborn blood to activate or two units of any blood. Artifact Amulets of level four take one unit of demigod blood or two units of any blood. Artifact Charms of level four take one unit of faeborn blood or two units of any blood.
