Warrens are demonic pocket dimensions, a form of interdimentional attack boat they are sent out from hell full of demons through the void between worlds in the hope of connecting with a populated world and being able to invade it. People on earth use hellgates to form portals to these pocket dimensions, in order to invade and neutralise them before they have a chance to latch onto any other dimension such as earth. The actual chance of a warren latching onto earth is astronomically low on par with the chance of a large meteor strike. Still factions neutralise them because they provide good practice, it seems better to be safe than sorry, and it is politically expediant.
You can only enter a warren where there is a hellgate, ie either at your faction base or in your house if you have the rp stat for a hellgate.
Warren enter moves you into a warren, and warren leave moves you back to where you came from.
Warren progress moves you further into the warren, causing you to encounter more enemies to fight. The number and power of the enemies you encounter will depend on your disciplines, difficulty and number of people in your group.
Warren difficulty allows you to set the challenge level of the warren, 5 is the normal level, each increased difficulty will be 20% more difficult than the last. Each lowered difficulty will be 20% easier. Higher difficulties award bonus experience while lower difficulties reduce the experience you earn. When in a group the difficulty will be the average of all the people in the warren. At difficulty levels above 5 npcs will reduce incoming damage when they have the same discipline, additionally at difficulty levels above 5 npcs will sometimes use attacks with special affects.
