"Probably Hawaii." - Judith Vargas, 30

"Rome, without a doubt." - Talessa Reed, 19

"Vancouver, Moscow, Dublin, London, Cairo. I tend to be a fan of the pyramids, so heading to Cairo is always fun. Otherwise, if we're going for my whole favorite experience. Probably Vancouver." - Arthur Astair, 26

SHOP REVIEW: Elm Street Liquor and Spirits

This gem of a Liquor Store has been known to be one of Haven residents favorite stops in preparing for parties or events.

"Small towns are great retreats, but no small town is ever fun if it's dry. Wanted to give the people somewhere to make sure they can get what they need."

Focusing mainly upon wine and hard liquor, the selection offered is both domestic and international. Being right down the street from the Lodge, with its bring-your-own-wine policy, helps to drive up business.

"We like to switch it up for holidays, if we got time, but we almost always have something in the back if people are looking for something special."

Mister Walker, a native to the Boston area, said that opening his store up here was a way to 'settle down'. He stated that he has no issues if people wish to email him regarding 'special selections', even if he can't please everyone. His email is: N.Walker@elmstreet.com.

"We're here for the people and we ain't planning on leaving any time soon. There's a lot more things I'd like to do here in Haven. It's as prime a spot as any.", Mister Walker detailed with a grin.

Since opening the shop up, they've had a mostly clean streak. When questioned about the attempted burglary, Mister Walker shrugged it off and said that he was confident his employees could more than handle themselves and they'll always have some zip-ties on hand.

So if you're planning on throwing a party or want, take a chilled wine home for a quiet night or simply enjoy the taste of alcohol (and you're over 21), feel free to stop by and say hi to Mister Walker, who boasts that if he doesn't have it, he can get it.
