Overview
Mason is a man who finds himself thrust into a position he didn't create, and adapting to it as he goes along. The gap easily identifiable in his life created great change as his new permanent residence is Haven. He hasn't changed much, but his life is entirely different. He adapts to new information, new ways of living, and the new people he meets along the way with a suspicious air of the unknown that has been revealed.
He joins the Sheriff's Department as a Special Deputy, learning on the job. The years of experience as a law enforcement officer has prepared him for the work as a deputy, but the introduction to the supernatural is a learning process and one he is taking seriously.
RP Hooks
ø Timeswept - Those who are able to research him properly and may even know of his history can see a gap within his life that spans the course of five years. This changed everything for the man and it is the main reason he even resides in Haven.
ø Law Enforcement - Mason seems to be lawful good. The sort of man you can trust to be a good cop, keep his nose clean, and protect his community without harassing them.
ø Athletics and Fitness - The man may be in his thirties, and on record, older than that, but he keeps in shape. He is often suggesting some sort of athletic activity for those around him and tries to pass on the fitness knowledge he has learned over the years.
ø Divorced and Wondering - The man had been married for a long while, enough to make it so his life seemed to be finished in that regard. The changes to it have left him a single man once again, but unsure about his future and whether he will climb back on the horse.

ø Perceptive and Questioning - He is pretty perceptive for a human, and has an inquisitive nature that often comes with being law enforcement.
