Villagers near the Whishlash mountains in northern Lauriea reported seeing a bright flash of burning red light over the mountains a few days past. Lorekeepers have ascertained that this must be the result of a Phoenix dying and that its egg must now be somewhere in the mountains, waiting to be reclaimed. A powerful artifact, several hunters have gone looking while others try to shortcut the process by using a nightmare operation to twist fate into delivering them the egg.
