The Damned are seeking to re-establish control over the Carpathian Mountains, long said to be the home of great demon-worshippers like Dracula or Countess Bathory. There is an ancient church in the mountains that, if defiled, will strike some psychic blow to the people of Romania; when it is turned into some profane rather than sacred, the Damned will be able to use the mystical lines that connect it to other Romanian churches to begin to let sin infiltrate their society.
