(A battle in the Nightmare)

On Fairway Drive
This road is paved, its smooth surface a stark contrast to the rugged beauty
of the surrounding forest. The asphalt stretches out before the traveler, a
ribbon of black cutting through the lush green of the trees. The road is
lined with towering oaks and maples, their branches reaching out over the
pavement, creating a canopy of dappled sunlight. In the fall, the leaves turn
a brilliant array of reds, oranges, and yellows, creating a stunning display
of color that is breathtaking to behold. The road is narrow, with gentle
curves that follow the natural contours of the land. It rises and falls with
the hills, offering glimpses of the surrounding countryside through breaks in
the trees. To the east, the road leads to Haven, its buildings and houses
visible in the distance. To the west, the road continues on towards Fairfax
Manor, the impressive stone structure with towering North and South wings
slowly coming into view as one approaches.
It is night, about 68F(20C) degrees, There is a waning crescent moon.
Alexander says "Naked AGAIN!?"
Meridith sighs wearily.
Meridith charges toward Alexander and glowers. Throwing some rocks at him.
Selina glances around as she wakes up and adjusts her gas mask before turning to spot her quarry: the naked man down the way. She charges forward, wiggling her foot enough to uncover her anklet, then motions toward Alexander and says, "Echor!" to chill the air around him and make it harder for him to get away.
Meridith continues to race forward, gliding across this formless place.
After the spell, Selina takes to sprinting toward her target to try to get to him before he can manage to get away.
Alexander fires off a round and moves back swiftly.
Selina finally gets close enough to bring her real spells to bear on Alexander, pointing a finger at him as she shouts, "Raui-o Echor!" A beam of chilly blue light flashes through the air between her and him, missing at the last moment, but leaving behind the colder air from the attack. She glances over at Meridith and says, "I can finish this if you want."
Meridith nods to Selina. "Let's not drag this out," she says, yanking Alexander towards her, and loosing an arrow.
Alexander fires off a round at Selina, wincing, on his last legs.
Selina steps closer still and then points at Alexander. "Raui-o Echor!" she shouts once more, and this time the chilly blast of light hits Alexander in the leg, leaving behind bone-chilling cold in its wake. She stops then and bows slightly to Alexander. "Until next time, Orderite," she says to him after she straightens up.
Alexander fades out of the nightmare.
