Ryans Syndicate Bargain

(Ryan's syndicate bargain)

[Sun Dec 17 2023]

In Town Hall Southern Meeting Room

It is about 50F(10C) degrees.

Cailyn lifts a hand towards Ryan, offering a few wordless nods as she looks away. She shifts some.

Shrugging as he pulls out his wallet, Ryan hands over some bills as he gives Cailyn a big smile, "I hope we're able to save them!"

"Yea..." Cailyn murmurs as she takes in a deep breath.

"... I hope it's not Nadiya again," Cailyn murmurs with a shake of her head.

Cailyn looks over towards Ryan one more time and frowns. "How are you feeling?"

"These dudes just like...totes steal people out of their beds. It's kind of funny to see that the big bad Hand sleeps in their cute jammies." Ryan shrugs to Cailyn, "Way better. I've been icing all the places that hurt, and sleeping it off has helped a ton." he reaches up to touch his chest through his shirt with a slight wince as he says, "This one's gonna take a little bit, but I have some anti-burn stuff I'm putting on it to help heal. It's all good."

"Nadiya was completely naked earlier. I gave her a ride to her home," Cailyn hums as she glances about. She frowns at Ryan's touching, and there's a little shudder in her body in response to his wince. "I'm sorry- Really."

"I know, I mean you're dealing with your stuff, so I'm happy for it." Ryan says with a big smile back to Cailyn, "We'll figure it out, right? No big deal."

Cailyn lets out a sigh before offering a small nod towards Ryan. "I.. Don't know if I'll be able to face you again for a while."

"What do you mean? We're totes besties! Ryan says as he slides his hands in his pockets and shrugs to Cailyn, "If you want to avoid it, then I can always leave breakfast in the kitchen for you if you don't want to eat it together.""

"What do you mean? We're totes besties!" Ryan says as he slides his hands in his pockets and shrugs to Cailyn, "If you want to avoid it, then I can always leave breakfast in the kitchen for you if you don't want to eat it together."

Cailyn beams a smile towards Ryan. "I'd like to see you in the shirt I got you sometime. I think it was a cute gift."

"Oh no!" Ryan says as he looks down at Rachel, "I'm sorry, Rachel. This must be totes annoying for you. Where's Atlas?" he asks as he nods to Cailyn, "Yeah, I can totes wear that sweet ass shirt. Chuck McMuscles is awesome!"

Cailyn draws in a breath as she looks over towards Rachel. The blonde moves over to kneel beside her and offer a little smile. "Hey, Rachel right?" She asks before it's confirmed by Ryan.

Cailyn says "Chuck McMuscles is indeed awesome."
Rachel's trotted out like some kind of show pony - a poorly treated one, at that. For one, she's shirtless, and there's blood marring the strap of her bra. 'Annoying' is one way to put it. "Yes. That's right. Hi." That's for the both of them.

Rachel says "Atlas is... sleeping. I hope."
"They hurt you any?" Cailyn wonders to Rachel as she looks to the blood on her bra. Her gaze is soft as she starts to inspect Rachel's form for any sign of injury.

Kneeling down and checking on her, Ryan looks around to find Rachel bound, and he searches in his pockets and his bag to find something to cut them with, "Do you want some lunch? I have some coffee and a muffin that you can have, and we can get you back home."

Strangely, Rachel's fine - or, not imminently in danger. Her left arm - close to where the blood is - is bruised, and it looks like it's hanging not quite right, but there's no cut or puncture wound. "I'd take food," Rachel says. And being released, but Ryan's on that. "Thank you." To Cailyn, some clarification: "They didn't." There's a bit of an emphasis on the first word.

"Here- Let me just.." Cailyn murmurs as she settles her hands on Rachel's arm. "Give it some time, mm? Pain should subside.. Maybe the bruise will even clear up."

"It's oatmeal raisin. If I had known what you liked I would have brought it, but like...you know, I kinda don't know who's kidnapped by the Syndicate, right?" Ryan says with a chuckle, "I guess it's like...maybe it'll make you feel a little better for the bad day you've been having? Nobody likes getting nabbed."

Ryan's saying that like 'getting nabbed' is a daily occurrence. And, well, maybe around here it is. Rachel confirms it by saying, "That's putting it lightly. This is twice now." She exhales her irritation. Neither Cailyn nor Ryan are deserving. "Thank you," she says a little more sincerely, muffin and coffee now in hand. "Neither of you had to come help. I appreciate it."

Rachel peers at the muffin. No one likes oatmeal raisin. Abductees can't be choosers, though.

Thumbing towards the west, Ryan says, "I just live up the street. It's not a long walk and usually that person needs a smile and something to eat since they've just woken up." he looks at Rachel and asks, "Do you want to go up the street to the Bakery and pick out something? It's on me."

Cailyn definitely looks the type to like oatmeal raisin, actually. Her eyes close as she just keeps her hands on Rachel's arm. "It's not broken, is it?" She muses.

"No. Someone tried to um... cut through it earlier." But it's miraculously fine? Or maybe Rachel had just fended them off. Whatever the case, she's inconvenienced, more than anything. "I'm okay. Really," she says to Cailyn. "Between you and a good sleep, I'm sure I'll be up and running in a day or two." The muffin's looked at again, and Ryan considered. "...I couldn't. This is fine. I, um. Oatmeal raisin's great." Note that she didn't say 'I love oatmeal raisin.' An indirect lie.
