Groundsman in Training
What originally seemed to have started out as a form of punishment has become something of a calling for Hiram. In the summers, he spends his time landscaping for the locals - in the winters, shoveling driveways. In the Institute he keeps up the grounds as best he can between classes, or when the moon is bright enough to see by.
Dulled
Whether as a result of growing up in the Institute, or just a natural occurrence of aging, Hiram's not particularly expressive. Though some have gotten past and seen the somewhat manic nature of his emotions, generally he keeps himself grounded and focused when around others. The more people around, the worse he becomes.
Fixer
Though he doesn't advertise it as such, Hiram's got a penchant for getting people what they need - or don't need, but want. The most he'll ever say is to text him if you need something - as ambiguous as he can get, given the nosiness of both brown-noses and the faculty themselves. Generally these favors come with a price, though not always monetary.
