The Lucky Ones

The Lucky Ones, The CW Supernatural Television Series that revolves around a near extinct group of scattered Supernaturals. The show follows a High School male, Michael Evans, 16, whose plagued by visions that depict the deaths of the others around him, and most are Supernatural. There's a group hunting his kind. Aggressively.

Season One: Sookie stars as Natalie Rose, 16, the love interest of Michael Evans. Though Michael is unaware of the supernatural hunters, the conflict is revealed in the end of the first season, where Natalie is revealed to the viewers as the lead antagonist, as she's part of the group hunting the Supernaturals.

Season Two: Season Two kicks off during second semester of Sophomore year of High School. Michael, main protagonist continues trying to juggle with his visions, as well as the desire to lead a normal life while still dating Natalie. Comes across another supernatural male gifted with compulsion abusing his abilities and risking exposure. This supernatural acts as the antagonist for the season until he is killed by the group of supernatural hunters, making their group, (but not identities) known to Michael. Natalie was aware, but not involved in the hunt directly.

Season Three: Summer has just ended and the cast enters Junior year. Within the first 25 minutes, Natalie is revealed to Michael as a prominent member of the group of Supernatural Hunters. The conflict in this season is obvious, though Season Three sacrifices the action to go in-depth on the emotional and romantically tragic drama that surrounds Michael and Natalie. It builds up to an anti-climatic season finale; Michael is forced to 'Come out' to his parents about his visions after hunters kidnap them with the assumption that they are Supernaturals. The show-down takes place in the school Gym, and though Michael and his crew are vastly outnumbered, The Hunters (for reasons not yet known to the viewer) let his parents go, and flee from the Gym, leaving the heroes to tend to their mostly emotional wounds. The last glimpse of Natalie is of her giving Michael a longing look before disappearing into the darkness.

Series Finale: Senior year has started and Michael has been unable to successfully help his parents transition into knowing and accepting that there are supernatural forces; his parents are deathly afraid of him and being caught up in his war. Early in the season he is ostracized by his family, and forced to live with one of his best friends, a human who is aware and aids whenever possible. It's revealed throughout the season that Season 3's anticlimactic ending was an attempt to observe Michael and discover in depth the supernaturals he works with.

In the season finale, the hunters use the parents to once again lure Michael to the gym with his parents as bait, under the correct assumption he would not come alone as instructed. Therein a trap was laid; and once everyone was inside, the gym was set ablaze. Michael's parents, as well as a majority of the hunters and supernaturals died in the fire. Not a moment after escaping, Michael was incapacitated by a taser from Natalie, (who has made her first onscreen appearance.) He awakens bound in a room with Natalie, and after a heartfelt, and rather tragic discussion (Wherein Natalie admits to sabotaging the trap to set fire to both the supernaturals and the hunters) he manages to escape his binds (loosely tied) and engages Natalie in rather sloppy combat. Out of luck, he won, and Natalie was fatally stabbed for causing the deaths of his parents. The season ends with the insinuation that Michael is now truly alone in this world.
