The Venetian Occupation Continues
With the Venetians having settled in for a month, it is obvious they're here to stay. Security checkpoints have been set up all over town, making it more difficult to enter or leave. Westhaven and the forest remains safe from the Venetians' clutches, for now. Despite the strict laws that oppress the population at large, petty crime is at the lowest it's ever been. Still, with college students fleeing the strangeness of the going on in Haven, the streets grow emptier and emptier. The hustle and bustle of the town has slowed to quiet conversations in booths, hunched shoulders and secret meetings in alleyways. Swann Media has shut down, the mayor is missing and the HSD is under Venetian control.
OOC: Metaplotters, the Venetian occupation theme at the moment is oppression. They are here to stay for a few months, so please, try to take things slow at let yourself fall in to the setting. You will be given resistance options, but remember, the idea is resistance. Too much aggression will result in story death. Take it easy and try to enjoy yourselves.
