Shortly after two o'clock in the morning, on the fifth of May, the Imperial Court of Rome, the flagship court of the vampire empire, came under attack during one of their meetings in their private necropolis. Many high officials died, as did several candidates after the throne of bones. The throne has been claimed by Sarkur, with surviving members swearing fealty to him.
