In what's being called the Court Street massacre, a dozen elementary students were abandoned by Academy faculty where half of them were murdered by Sarkur's vampires. A group of supernaturals and humans, including Lewis Leone, Naomi Hawthorne, Dana, Diane Thompson, Raul Verdin, Charlie Bronson, Bob Reeves, Hwan Song, Eileen Arkwright, and Carissa Soto came to the rescue of the children, with several of them badly wounded but otherwise alive.
There was no tantrum from Sarkur himself, which either means this wasn't the end of such assaults or something even more sinister.
