Laura Wilson was found in her dorm room at the Academy, having allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope made from bedsheets. The Academy informed the Wilsons, but refuse to release her body.
The Never Ends Well is just one of many buildings that has collapsed in the apocalyptic winter that has struck Haven.
In other news, Jo Swann has managed to move the survivors of the Swann family?, including little Alice Swann (having infiltrated the Academy to ensure her escape) out of Haven and into the Wilds. Whether he's with them still or has returned to Haven is a mystery.
