Can I ask what the idea is behind Renovate Petitions?
Is it only to remodel stores that do not fit the atmosphere/vibe of Haven and need to be touched up to better fit it?

I have a store in sight I want to bring some life back to, that was featured in the Chronicle, and was referenced to be linked to the society I am leading. Rather than making another same-ish establishment, I am one who prefers using what is already there, what is already established. The store in question is owned by someone who seemingly has not been around for many months, but who is holding onto 5 properties. I would rather avoid making another bar to clutter the grid. Ownership is kind of helpful to arrange stuff like a future vault, temporary goods for events, or being able to move temporary furniture items in as props for events without the risk of being unable to pick them back up. Guess that’s beyond the scope of what the intent of those petitions are there for.

If you’re referring to the Hollow Spoke, I’ve released it, so you should be able to purchase it.

It isn’t, sorry. Appreciate the gesture, though. I’m looking at Nowhere (Fairefield Parking Lot)

It’s just for taking over something which has never been finished or is low quality. If it’s a decent location already you need to wait for it to become availaable or contact the owner if you have a way of doing that.

I tried that. But what if said player will never log back on, and they’re able to permanently hold onto the store because of Business Person? I tried sending them a text, but inactivity prevents reaching their number, so I also sent them an OOC note.

That’s why I thought a Renovate petition would be the only way. I could be waiting until time immemorial before that store would become available. Thanks, though, for the answer 🙂
