I recall, in a previous version, there was a penalty for biting the same person repeatedly.

I more vaguely recall that he IC justification was something about each vampire taking different nutrients when they feed, or something like that.

I have lately been getting 0 LF from victims that I have fed from before, even with weeks in between. They seem to still get the penalty. I bite a fair variety of different people. Some once, some are repeats. Sometimes, they are helpless. Sometimes, they are not.

In the interest of being able to roleplay through this appropriately:

    1. Is there in fact a penalty for the vampire if a victim has not been fed on by any other vampires since the last bite?

    2. Is there likewise a penalty for the vampire if they haven’t bitten someone else since last time?

    3. What is the IC explanation?

    4. Is there a common IC term for this phenomenon that vampires might use when talking to other vampires?

    5. Does all of this apply to blood drinkers, as well?

There is probably a penalty if the person has been fed on by someone else. I think being fed on more than once every 2 weeks decreases the value of your blood. And if you’re feeding on someone supernatural it’s like 2% anyways. The same penalty happens if they bleed themselves, get victimized for blood etc.

IC I think people tried to explain it like… you are drinking the magic from their blood. They haven’t regenerated the magic yet.
