It is, virtually, impossible to fight against the Legion at times. I’ve been working on Northview for weeks. Today, this happened I need some explaining for:

Before launching a Smash and Grab, the Sons were at 20%, with The 63rd Legion being at 28%. After contributing the raid item, the Sons dropped to 16%, and the Legion shot up to a whopping 56% – virtually making it impossible to fight them back now, and invalidating months of prep-work. Note: This is a borough they have maintained a hold over for months now, which I thought would suggest it being easier to wrest from their control.

    – What causes these strange fluctuations, where the Sons seem to effectively lose the race by actively contributing and allow the Legion to pretty much double its standings in the poll?

    – Do active Lieutenants provide some sort of passive buff to town-wide Legion standings?

    – Other than the golden acorn you get from being grabbed by The Hunt, is there any other way to significantly decrease Legion hold over a borough?

Oh, also note – I contributed a Raid item to a x3 effective Borough, and this still happened. It’s incredibly, and I mean INCREDIBLY disheartening system to fight against. It’s one of the biggest examples of mechanics in this game that don’t respect your time in the slightest, and seems balanced around having an active competition of 20+ players.

    – Have you considered toning this stuff down while this iterations runs its course?

    – Can you do anything to ‘equalize’ the playing fields somewhat, so that us lingering players can actually try and play this aspect of the game?

    – What would happen when (not if, it’s looking like a guarantee at this rate) the Legion just holds every single borough?
