dear reader, a word to the wise:
    1. he who cries first, hardest and loudest, is not always rightest
    2. he who loses and fails most, is not always the aggressed, nor the victim

often, a temperamental propensity for aggression & the lack of foresight/discernment needed to succeed go hand in hand

take this wisdom, apply it to any ooc drama you witness on this game, or the world at large, from this day forth. do not instinctively pity the first or loudest to whine. some of you are way too easy to emotionally manipulate

    love,

Haven isn’t a setting where groups engage in violent wars of conquest, it’s one where they engage in a cold war, their lives are punctuated by violence and they live under a shadow of potential violence and horrors but they aren’t soldiers. When people try to play Haven as a war game it inevitably goes sideways because it isn’t a war game and none of the systems are built to support it being a war game.

bugs aside: please remember new haven is a political setting, and even old haven was never meant to be a war game. in real life, and in game, if you are approaching the world like it’s a war game & your primary mode of conflict against others is violent aggression, people are not going to think you’re a person to be reasoned with & you should expect to be put down.

the best way to avoid death is to behave like someone for whom death is not the only visible option to negate as an obstacle. your character went around doing violence, & when released with a warning, came right back to continue more violence. fafo bro idk what you were expecting
