I can see in the logs that people are losing invitation over time as they RP etc, so nobody is ‘stuck’

I suppose one thing I’d mention is the type of RP you do also matters, the same weekly RPxp code will also look at how much of your rp represents mundanity and reduce your invitation accordingly or increase hollow if you’re high tier, and how much of your RP involves ‘seeking corruption’ and boost invitation accordingly so that also matters.

The system is also pretty slow in general when it comes to moving up/down from RP and as I’ve said before the specific point of bargain is supposed to be for people who want their invitation to be higher.

There’s a visible room tag when you’re in a room with an ATM so you should be able to find them in game.

Generally, if someone else is taking the coded hit that’s fine, although maybe not if you’re really making it so they have no choice.
Mind controlling around it isn’t fine.
Hurting vNPCs, RPing property damage etc all wouldn’t be ok.
Don’t think any of those mist-based strategies would work and criting is already the same penalty as killing but the general thrust of just trying to get someone killed through some other mechanic though wouldn’t be ok.

It still exists, I’ll likely add ways it see it through dreamworld scoresheets.

It’s not an exception really. Angelborn and demonborn can’t tell which desires or dreads are theirs and which are external but they are often still aware academically they they do experience other people’s desires or whatever.

I see probing as say an angelborn deliberately trying to quiet their own mind and desires as much as possible, like in a meditative way because by ‘dampening’ that signal they’ll get a clearer signal from others and the internal can represent more complex wants or fears etc that might be disceranable in that way.

Functionally though it still works the same, the angelborn just wants what the target wants and they still don’t know if their attempt actually succeeded or it’s their own projections/imaginings.

The echo just means the person you send it to rated it and the system processed it. You don’t get karma from this you get banked karma like from a reward, so you’ll get more karma next time you gain some.

Yes your character is supposed to be in the scene. You won’t be punished if you can’t find a way to do that or something but I don’t think it’s usually that hard to come up with an excuse for why your character is involved in some way or another most of the time.

It also just makes the game more interesting, if it’s a PC you never met now your PCs have a connection from that time you were busy breaking into an enemies house and ended up interrupting them being tempted by a demon or whatever it is, which is generally more interesting than encounters which kind of just vanish into the ether once they’re over.

As of several weeks ago now if you do faction info and do have your trusts restricted for some reason (like vampire human feeding/werewolf shifting) it will tell you why.

No, T3-1 is treated the same as a T2 in the code.

Think of it like back to the future. A tree wasn’t there a minute ago, but then someone goes back in time and plants the seed and then it has been there for years right? People who are supernaturally aware know that the city wasn’t there before, but for most people it’s always been there.

It’s not against the rules. I don’t expect it to be super common since it’s fairly obviously dumb/short sighted in almost all cases. If it became a big problem anyway I’d probably make some changes to deal with it.

    It’s help storyrunning policy

It’s expected that the story runner is always present in some capacity, but that could be something like being on the phone with the participants etc.

However long enough it takes to tell the story really.

The active lookfor encounter option is specifically for running encounters, they are offered to players semi-randomly like they were before but using lookfor will increase the chance you get selected.
