in reply to: eidolon trust #27688
I have no idea why it would return they’re not there if they’re online.
in reply to: Eidolon SR abilities #27687There’s just a different between hearing someone’s thoughts and being able to fully read their mind.
in reply to: Where Do Monsters Go? #27686Yes it’s not just okay it’s expected/good to RP with the fabled in that room, and as pointed out you should be able to edit the room to make it more appropriate for the given monster’s lair/home.
And yes other realms means places like Godrealms/Wilds/Hell. You can be specific as long as you’re not trying to contradict any existing lore.in reply to: The Exhaustive Lieutenant Guest Question List #27685It’s reasonable that PCs may want to take out Lieutenants if they can, although it should be difficult. If it’s presently too easy that’d be something I’d need to tweak.
If you want more stuff in their base you’d need to make a case for that, like here’s what I wanted to do here’s why I couldn’t do it.
They don’t effect the raid stuff, they don’t give rpxp, they don’t affect elections, they can’t be resurrected.
They won’t auto head back to their territories if helpless.
in reply to: Bargaining #27684Yes.
No.
Permanent.in reply to: Relative Invitation #27683No.
in reply to: Minimum Favor #27682There was never a minimum favor reward, there was a reward you get based on your activity which isn’t related to your faction controlling boroughs, and that was never removed.
in reply to: Scales and Degrees #27681All memory removal stuff is event specific, so shouldn’t be used on things which are over several days. Fatecrafting could cover that since it re-writes a whole life but as has been pointed out by others all these are reversable or figure-out-able.
in reply to: Invitation Misc Questions #27680That’s fine, someone’s invitation level is easy to spot so it’s not like you’re uncovering some big secret.
I don’t think someone could use bedwindow to rescue someone? It doesn’t take you to the PC it takes you to their bedroom. I’d probably change stuff if any invitation command was being used to save people instead of be mean to them though.
in reply to: Lore questions; Dreamscapes and more #27679Wildling is a sort of catch-all language for the wilds and other worlds, I’d think of it like a common tongue but different regions will still have their own dialects or use languages from Earth regions.
I suppose a dreamchild could have become a god or fae or something if they were created long enough ago, there could be higher powers with more connection to the dreamscape but there are none with unique powers over it, no they can’t manifest things from the dreamscape. Even dreamchildren aren’t manifested directly, they’re always born as humans.
Just represents some sort of history/familiarty with magic that can be used to gain access to supernautral powers.
I think it’d be fine to RP a mute as being able to use rituals and just doing it some other way.
Mist monsters are all created by some higher power through some act of fleshforming at some point, they don’t talk to PCs and do not seem to be sentient although as pointed out they do use tools, that’s what people know about them.
You could RP a purity bargain as some self meditative thing or as some deal with something where you trade power for purity.
Invitation is useful but more pronounced in Haven, just living in Haven is to some degree an invitation to the supernatural. Charon coins are Haven specific but there are other unspecified means of resurrection around. You don’t gain invitation from just being near someone so no…
Monstrous beasts are not valid as mounts, or for that matter futuristic technology like hoverbikes. That would be RPing your character having an ability(unicorn taming) they have no coded support for.
in reply to: Monster passive damage #27678After they’ve done a certain amount which is basically the same as after a certain number of hours. Yes they’ll be notified.
in reply to: Fabled Infidelity #27677It’s for the drama/entertainment value. Bella is in a relationship with Edward but finds Jacob really hot etc. The main reason for fabled to be monogamous is because it makes for story/drama if they find someone else attractive as opposed to a poly person who could just bone the other person and who cares.
in reply to: That is beyond your ken. #27676Yes they can’t do any rituals.
in reply to: Relationships and Invitation #27675No, no coded effect.
in reply to: Fabled quest bonuses #27674It triples the LF benefit you’d get from biting them, but if you were already capped or the benefit was 0 because they were low lifeforce then that could still lead to gaining nothing.
