Ashes Riot Farms Debut At Sludgefuk 250402

The debut of Riot Farm at Sludgefuk was a chaotic amalgamation of loud music, illicit substances, and impromptu performances that filled the venue's worn-out space. Amidst the ear-splitting sounds of the band, characters like Castiel, Lilah, Carla, and Ashe mingled, partook in the revelry, or tried to make sense of the controlled pandemonium. Castiel, notably out of his element, observed the scene with a mix of amusement and detachment, eventually engaging in a brief, upbeat exchange with Lilah. Ashe, hauling her drum set, greeted everyone cheerfully, blissfully unaware of or choosing to ignore the bewildered stares she received. The atmosphere teetered on the edge of frenetic energy and outright anarchy, with Ruprecht's random, drug-fueled outburst adding another layer of unpredictability to the event.

As the evening wore on, the chaotic vibe only intensified, culminating in Ruprecht's alarming solo performance and the sudden appearance of a makeshift fog machine that doubled as a fire hazard. Novel, the bewildered yet resilient host, took charge of extinguishing the fire by tearing down parts of the already damaged venue, much to the amusement and shock of the partiers. Castiel, perhaps seeking to fully immerse himself in the experience or simply caught up in the moment, accepted a bag of drugs from Ashe, ingesting its contents in one bold move. The event, teetering between a riotous party and a curious experiment in social dynamics, ended with characters like Kathlynn seeking refuge from the madness, suggesting a retreat back to some semblance of normality after a night of unbridled excess.

In the bowels of SLUDGEFUKK
Now you've done it.

Past the metal security door lies a dismal space, resembling some manner of basement more than an aboveground dwelling. The only light source seems to be from flickering aged fluorescent bulbs; they would make a grating hum, if it wasn't for the wall of noise that filled the space otherwise. On the right, entering in, is a bar made of scrap materials such as cinderblocks and cargo pallets. The majority of the space is taken up by a rather improvised dance floor, the black linoleum tiling worn away by the endless stomp of steel-toed boots into a ragged ocean of concrete underneath.

A wall of sound fills the entire area, regardless of whether a band is playing or not. A shitty PA system roars out tunes best described as abysmal and hostile to life as we know it; chugging guitars, screaming, growled vocals, and savage breakdowns punctuate every motion in the room in an endless repeat. It was nearly impossible to make out any noise -other- than that hellish cacophony; one has to yell to people standing right next to them in order to have a conversation. This is likely by design.

Ahead of the doorway, and past the mosh pit, is the main stage.

To the left of the doorway is a single door, labeled, "RESTRUM". A note tacked to the door reads, 'put your fuckin needles in the trash im done cleanin them up'. Lovely.

It is afternoon, about 34F(1C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.

Not that Castiel missed Sandra, it's more so that he doesn't care for the crawling woman. All that is spared is a sidelong look, as if what he's staring at is an abhorrent insult to everything clean - not that it shows in his expression, that remains notably distant and without inflection. Very out of place where he is - at least until Castiel notes Lilah, and seeing her smile and wave, Castiel returns a faint smile of his own. Someone passes him by, the crowd thickens - Castiel is beside Lilah in the next blink, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

Ashe hauls the enormous drum set towards the stage, waving and smiling to everyone as she passes through the crowds. Mostly she's ignored or gawked at with bewilderment "Welcome to the venue." she chirps cheerfully.

Arriving just in time, Carla and her bandmates hurry in with parts of a disassembled drum kit. "Okay, put that one here and that big one next to it," she tells Ashe and puts the cymbals down as well. "Good, Dobbs is already here."

Ruprecht says "Hmmm.. "
"Who's even supposed to take all those drugs?" Carla asks Ruprecht, peering dubiously at the powder buffet. "Sheesh."

Chiara smirks to Carla, "Whoever it is, they're going to enjoy the show I bet..."

Lorenzo eyes widen momentarily as he takes in the array of drugs Ruprecht is casually setting out on the grimy bar and surrounding tables at SLUDGEFUKK. He returns his attention to his phone, thumbing through MyHaven with a practiced indifference, the noise and chaos of the club a stark contrast to his calm demeanor. Every so often, he glances up, ensuring his personal space remains uncontaminated by the narcotics sprawl. With a dry chuckle escaping him, he shakes his head slightly, careful not to let his hands or belongings touch the drug-laden surfaces. His amusement at the scene before him is evident, yet he maintains a careful distance, preferring the safety of his digital world to the unpredictability of someone pharmacological display.

Lenore hops up onto the stage and beams a smile at everyone as her bandmates begin to assemble everything. She places her hands on her hips and bends a leg in a pose, "Howdy yall! Hope you're ready for a good show!" her eyes beam with a glowing light as she attempts to draw all the eyes away from the setup.

Serena wanders to the restroom.

Ruprecht takes a captain morgan pose on the stage, putting a pyrex pipe full've yellow-white stones in his lip and lighting a blowtorch. Some prelude. It's followed by a bow, and an invitational wave. He takes a deep breath in, sucking down every bit've crack-smoke on his menu. To follow it up, he throws the pipe into the crowd, likely to burn someone bystanding. He takes up a half-broken acoustic guitar in both arms, playing out a discordant, hellishly unskilled PHFFFTAANGGG...

With her and her bandmates definitely all on the MAIN STAGE, Carla urgently finishes assembling the drum kit and seats herself behind it. "Hi, Novel!" she yells to the crowd. "We're literally almost ready!"

When Castiel shows up at her side, Lilah says to him, "You'll have to compare this to the choirs later," she says in a sassy, teasing voice, though she might well be clinging to that to avoid the awkwardness of drugs and girls scrubbing floors, and whatever else. When she spies Novel arriving with Serena, through the crowd, she offers a quiet little smile to the pair, but then turns back to watching those on stage.

Novel sweeps on in, Serena in tow, casually and violently punching people out of the way as he greets, "Hey!!!!" Some people get The Hands in a way of greeting, a broad smile on his face and open, delighted glee as the mosh pit starts to warm right on up - he calls back, "Next concert! Use the actual stage setup!" He points north - then continues on his route to Lilah. No quiet smiles here, and the club is dingy and the constant wail of noise and static gurgles and then dies, setting up to be replaced by whatever it is the musicians planned.

He barrels down on Lilah, intent on picking her up in a squeezing hug.

Sandra crawls herself a little bit closer to the group, eventually reaching the main stage too. She keeps scrubbing at the floor once she's there, which really is pointless in all this mess. But she cleans her way closer and closer to Ruprecht and his drugs... She's curious about them, and she pokes at one of the white bags when she thinks Ruprecht isn't looking, grabbing it.

"Good to see you at an event, Castiel! Hope this place isn't too grungy for you," Novel says with open delight and joy on his features.

"Well, we already brought the stuff here and it won't really fit in the car so we can't leave it outside," Carla tells Novel and gives the cymbals an experimental whack with her drumstick.

Ashe waves at everyone as she starts to try to figure out the sound equipment. "Testing, testing. Oh that's way too loud!" she says with a wince. "Okay, , how about now! What was that Novel? Something about mage getup? You nerd." she calls cheerily down at him from the makeshift, hastilgy gathered piles of plywood.

"Ask me about the GOOD stuff sometime," Ruprecht clearly offers to Sandra, noting not only that he noticed, but that he isn't planning on taking inventory any time soon. Clearly, the party favors are free.

This time.

Plucked from the chaos, Lilah laughs when Novel hugs her, and for a moment something seems to settle in her expression. She wraps her arms around his shoulders, leaning in to peck a kiss onto his cheek before she notes, "I suggested that Cas should come," in a tone that suggests she's glad that Novel's okay with it. "I don't think Seamus will but maybe?"

Kathlynn pokes curiously at her newly enlarged breasts as they wait

Entering with the clack of heels with cloak billowing behind Edith, Kathlynn on Edith's arm, the blond enters, people moving inexplicably away at Edith's passing as she heads to the wall, placing Kathlynn to one side out of the way.

Once the drums are set up, Ashe looks to Lenore and Chiara, giving a little nod "Okay, I'm gonna start now. Hey, someone get the fog machine going?"

There's a moment of wait, in which Castiel stares up at the stage as well. Rather silent in his observation, the scrutiny, but it isn't without a smile. "Somehow, I have sincere doubts I'll hear anything to compare." His words, however, are almost cut short by Novel barreling down on and towards Lilah. Something that steals Castiel's eyes, but one he doesn't comment beyond offering an amused sort of smile towards Novel, alongside a comment, "I'm going to bathe in scalding water just to get the scent off of me after this."

Chiara bends forward to listen among the noisy crowd, nodding hurriedly to Ashe, "Right! I'm ready to... do my scythe thingie and... sing the refrain!"

Ruprecht proceeds to fail at finding proper fretting, making up some horribly discordant ambient trash-noise with that acoustic in his hands. All the while, he's making proper faces as his muscles spasm from the rock high.

"Hello, Haven!" Carla shrieks at the crowd and gets ready with her drumsticks, grinning nervously.

Kathlynn waves to Carla and Lenore.

Ashe claps to Ruprecht, then goes to start up the fog machine.

Chiara fixes her hair, stepping back to face the crowd and putting on a big smile.

Sandra stares up apprehensively at Ruprecht smiling in reply. She looks around and watches people do their various drugs, just on stage like some extra trying to figure that baggie out. POMPF! The thing comes open in her teeth and half the powder goes all over her face, most of the redt right down her throat and some up her nose when her baggie innocently explodes from her efforts.

Ashe moves to activate an old fog machine that looks like it might have been fully serviceable in the 1800's. What emerges is a mixture of fog and black smoke. With a firm nod of approval, she moves to center stage "Hello Haven, and welcome to your debut performance of Riot Farm! You're going to hear our original song tonight, and after that, let's party!"

Carla begins drumming enthusiastically, and then she realizes she wasn't meant to start yet and stops. "Jeeze, come on," she hisses to Ashe. "On your cue, okay?"

Ashe beams back at the band, specifically to Carla and Ruprecht who are the only ones holding instruments "Hit it!" she says as she subtle activates a sound machine to supplement the instruments.

Novel responds by giving Ashe the fluttering of an insulting bird in hand-sign form before straightening on up from the kiss. "Absolutely. And we've got scalding water at home if you got it later." He pat-pats her on the shoulder before breaking away and taking in a deep breath, looking over things. "Now, I'm gonna go take some drugs and join the party."

To whit, he raises his voice, shouting louder, "PParty!" He calls, mostly to the crowd, pumping his fist up and getting people stirred up - a pass by the bar to swipe some fun-loving chemicals before he dives into the mosh-pit slash crowd.

Chiara giggles into her wrist and grins as she watches Carla. She eyes Lenore, giving her a slight nod afterward before watching Ashe carefully.

Carla starts up again, banging away at the drums with what must have been at least an hour of practice on her resume. It isn't good at all, but she does manage to get some sort of rhythm going.

"That was Castiel!" Lilah calls after Novel, but he's already leaving her side, and thus there's a small frown, before she turns back to the man in question. "Are you suggesting a hot tub party, then?" Lilah asks of Castiel, before the loud shrieking from the stage earns a laugh from her and a claimed, "Nobody needs Kah to yell, today. We'll all end up deaf anyway." This is clearly not her scene (though that's probably more the chaos and mess of what is Sludgefukk than the band itself) but she's here and has her game face on, intent on enjoying it for what it is - whatever that will be.

Sandra coughs several times after the cocaine explosion she had, and really she looks a lot like the music just shocked the hell out of her on top of it, staring at someone

Sandra coughs several times after the cocaine explosion she had, and really she looks a lot like the music just shocked the hell out of her on top of it, staring at Carla.

In a hauntingly beautiful voice that is worlds apart from the cheerful chirp of moments before, Ashe begins to sing;

Haven under Harvest Moon,
its golden light upon us all
Close the doors and bar the windows
We'll reap the souls that you did sew

Ashe walks the edge of teh stage as she sings, her attention drifting between someone, Lorenzo, and others than linger close to the stage.

Kathlynn has been to quite a few bars and dives just like this one. She gets a grin on her face as she waits for the music to really get started

Ashe walks the edge of teh stage as she sings, her attention drifting between Kathlynn, Lorenzo, and others than linger close to the stage.

Lenore takes a place on stage behind a microphone with her hands firmly on her hips, knowing that her role is at least part eye-candy. She slowly takes in all the eyes before her. Her own eyes flutter in delight at Ashe as she begins to hum her own part.

Chiara balls her hands into fists up by her shoulders before extending her arms, one higher and one lower - as though gripping onto the long wooden handle of an invisible scythe. She twirls with a sweep of her arms, drawing that imaginary blade across the fields. She grins to Ashe afterward, stepping in tune with the drums.

Carla punishes her drums vigorously, filling the club with noise while doing her best to vaguely match the general cadence of Ashe's song.

After a brief instrumental interlude, Ashe begins singing again as she drifts back to join the other members of the band, eerily beautiful voice weaving the words like a web over the small audience;

Do you hear the widow weaping?
Do you feel the shadow creeping?
Are those the floor boards that are creaking?
Dread and sorrow inside seeping.

As Ashe sings, she moves among her bandmates, approaching first Lenore to worriedly sing the first two lines, then rapidly scampering to Ruprecht to address the final question to, before she announces the final line to the audience, returning to the front of the stage.

"I have a pool on my terrace." Castiel comments with another small smile to Lilah in the wake of the storm that's Novel running off into the the crowd. "I've yet to have it see any use." But then - the band itself is starting, and more, people are imbibing - talking, moving, feeling. Castiel is drawn like a moth to a flame as his expression shifts into one of interest. Somehow lost, perhaps, because there is a slight widening to his eyes and a lift to his brows while he seems genuinely at a loss of words as to what he's watching in tandem with the song. Nonetheless, vested.

Ruprecht starts... whatever he's doing waaay late. Like, thirty seconds or so. He was shaking the whole time, quivering from head to toe and doing a little tapdance. Then it KICKS. It sounds FUCKIN TERRIBLE. Nothing less of an active ... whatever he is. Every riff is discoordinated -- no tuning went into the guitar, and two of four strings are currently broken at the middle, strung out like whiskers on a dead cat. Eventually he 'wakes up', sniffing and looking around. He tries to make a few notes make sense, but clearly fails. He looks between his guitar and Ashe, shrugging cartoonishly, as if to suggest, 'what else?' ...

Perhaps a metaphorical response to her lyrical questions.

At the front of the stage again, Ashe lifts her left hand ceilingwards as she holds the oldschool mic in her right hand as she sings with Lenore and Chiara

Chiara leans in toward the microphone with Lenore and Ashe, closing her eyes and turning her head as she sings to a slightly different melody. Her voice is an octave higher, and she screams each line out intensely, a little shrill:

Haven under the Harvest Moon!
Its golden light upon us all!
Clooose the doors and *bar* the windows,
We'll reap the souls that you did sew!

If anything, Edith is out of place; She does not belong here, especially dressed as she is. Never the less, she is, and though she seems unutterably uninterested in everything, least not the music, it doesn't appear that Edith finds it offensive. It's not appreciated, though Edith is here, clearly for Kathlynn's sake. Edith's attention drifts; Castiel, Novel, Lilah, Lorenzo, someone, then to the stage, passing over Lenore, Carla, Ruprecht and Ashe, before sweeping over the mass of patrons before back to Kathlynn. Being certain the redhead is enjoying herself.

"Oh. Oh you've got one of the fancy apartments," Lilah assumes with the mention of terraces. She smiles at that, but nods and then as Castiel seems to be content to lose himself in the moment, she drifts quiet. Her body sways slightly; it's definitely not mosh-pit movements, but she lets the song if not the instruments sink in, flinching slightly with each sound from that poor, brutalized guitar.

Carla sings along on some parts and gradually finds some measure of familiarity with the drum set in front of her, even if it's extremely basic and unskilled. She makes a point of whallopping the cymbals every so often, smiling enthusiastically.

In a soft back up singer voice, Haven under harvest moon, It's golden light upon us all, Lenore whips her hair around, eyes and lips aglow with gold. Her eyes nervously dart over to Ruprecht.

Kathlynn starts to live her head in time with the fee beat such as it is

Ashe subtly smirks over towards Ruprecht, giving him the thumbs up behind her back... As she turns up the ambient instrumentals from the sound system just a hair more.

After the refrain Ashe launches right into the next stanza;

Within the wheat fields is IT stalking
Haven folk, they aren't talking lifting a finger to her lips at someone
Come inside, the doors we're locking she sings, beckoning to someone
Be safe with us on this Harvest Moon.

She bows her head, though for a brief moment before she closes her eyes there's a gold gleam within them.

A full-on brawl of the writhing bodies has been stopped, the music seeming to have tapered it off to more an energetic undulation - a movement of bodies and energy, of actual attempts at dance moves. Some of the people in the crowd can dance. They are given space to show off. Novel is not one of them - he's tall, for sure, but him in his black and leathers fades into a blur in the darkness with the rest but he seems, nevertheless, to be enjoying himself.

A subtle snake hiss spreads around the crowd of people, only heard over the music by those with exceptional hearing

After the refrain Ashe launches right into the next stanza;

Haven folk, they aren't talking lifting a finger to her lips at Kathlynn
Come inside, the doors we're locking she sings, beckoning to Edith
Be safe with us on this Harvest Moon.

She bows her head, though for a brief moment before she closes her eyes there's a gold gleam within them.

Despite her visible cringing at the way that the poor guitar wails its death song on the makeshift stage, Lilah seems to be having a rather good time. She's not dancing or brawling, but her lips curve into a smile, her mood clearly brighter as she watches the chaos, and lets the music sweep over her. Her body sways slightly, but she looks over to Edith, giving the woman a nod and a flash of a brighter smile, briefly.

"This Harvest Moooooon," Carla chimes in during a brief pause in her reckless drumming.

Terrible as it is, Sandra still gets right up with a half-coked face and her eyes wide. Blood pumping, adrenaline rushing, she jumps up and down with the alleged music, pumping a fist in the air. She shouts out at the top of her lungs, "La oss, kampdristige, stable lik sammen - Odin selv, er i ulvesinnene - na beordrer Valfodr, og mennene adlyder - en fullstendig forvandling - raseriet svulmer opp!" She does it kind of timed to the drum beats even though her singing voice is just... aweful and screamy. Whatever she just belted out gets repeated again, and again, like it's some kind if chant.

Chiara dances side to side, clapping in time with Carla's drums, or at least trying to, and nodding along with the music with a grin. She bends down toward the edge of the stage, clapping and beckoning the audience to cheer with her.

Serena wanders back over towards Lilah with a smile.

Sam leans up against the bar, watching the stage from there, the jock in a terribly good mood for some reason.

Lorenzo At the Sludgefukk bar, amid the chaotic din and the guttural assault of metal music, Lorenzo, in his devil-may-care persona, spots Sam across the room. He raises two fingers in an easy salute, his face a mask of amused disdain as he surveys the seedy environs. Over the roaring music, he leans closer to Sam, shouting to be heard, his voice tinged with a devil-may-care lilt, "You know, I thought hell had exclusivity on this kind of auditory torture!" His smirk is as sharp as the feedback squealing from the overtaxed speakers, his bright blue eyes twinkling with irreverence in the dim, flickering light of the bar.

Ruprecht holds up his left hand between riffs, displaying that it, unlike the right, is covered in blood. Between his finger and thumb is a quarter, pinched in the symbol of 'OK' - a clarifiably political gesture, according to some. A madly roach-rasped cackle echoes through the halls of FUKK's own Sludge, then the quarter strikes down to an ill-inspired sshhhinngggg against bare metal strings. It's followed by what must equate to a solo, the flaky handprint of freshly dried blood accentuating his inane, crack-spawned facial expressions. The notes only get worse as he works up the fret board, a nosebleed working down his face as his chest stands open with a slow-healing gash across it.

Lenore slinks along the edge of the stage, back arched. She crawls like a cat and purrs in a soft back up singer voice, "This Harvest Mooooooon..." she echoes and kicks her feet out over the edge and perches herself there to let the hands of the crowd reach out towards her.

The music reaches a crescendo, so much as the spooky song might, and again Ashe begins to sing in that eerily beautiful voice so different from the introduction

In the bar you hear pigs squeal,
One of them has become its meal she casts a subtle smirk at Serena
Do not fret you're here with us, raising her gold-eyed gaze
Stay for-ev-er more you must An evil smile alights on golden lips as she gazes out over the audience, the music coming to a haunting close.

Lilah offers Serena a nod. For the moment, though her lips curve in a smile that's not at all like her usual ebullient one, she seems content to stay mostly quiet as the blonde approaches. She's chatting with Castiel, though, beneath the chaos of the music and when Serena approaches she asks, "You two know each other, right? Cas, Serena. Serena, Cas." Then, she adds with a laugh that's more like her usual, "You'd probably break them all without trying, if you did." Bad enough that he's here, though she seems to be enjoying it, watching his expressions and reactions to it all.

Carla gives one of her drumsticks a showy twirl without dropping it and goes right back to pummeling the drums, working her shoulders into the melody with a sort of seated dance.

For a moment the shadows seem to shift, coming together to take the shape of a snake

Sandra jumps up a little more right there on stage, and very near where Ruprecht is in the first place. Offer of drugs and blaring music is universal and she stays a few feet from him and off to his left, near the drugs in some part too. Several points during her jumps have her flashing a brief glimpse of a bare, firm, perky ass on occasions when the back of her skirt hops high enough. She keeps up her same chanting as she had been, her wide eyes going between Ruprecht, a few shadows, other artists. The whole time she just acts like she belongs up there like a groupie or something.

Serena nods at Castiel with a polite smile, she seems to be saying hi, but over the music, there's not much that can be heard, likely.

"Sadly, even I might not go unscathed if that many were to pile on me." Castiel half-admits to Lilah with a sort of smile that seems almost jesting - one that is too quick to be colored with a faint hue of mirth that seems skewed in favor of a little bitter humor. Even those eyes, no longer wide-eyed and observant, turn to narrow upon Serena. "We've met, yes. Nice to see you again, Dr. Sante. I never thought I would again, after our last session. I've been eager for another - I don't think we've made much progress." The song in the background is really just white noise at this point. There, and people are having fun, but in the grand scheme of current conversation, Castiel's attention is more grounded to his vicinity, on Edith, Lilah, and mostly now, Serena.

Sandra had definitely lost her coat nearly right after that coke bag exploded all over her earlier. o.o

Kathlynn jumps up and down, the sheer energy of the performance bleeding into her movements. She seems a bit more off balance than usual as she jumps.

Conspicuously out of place, especially given the cavalcade of drugs and other misdemeanors on show, Malcolm gabs with Sam quietly at the bar, his badge tucked away. Not that it particularly matters, with his uniform being on (and a little bloody). Still, he's enjoying the show and doesn't seem to give a damn about all that.

Serena exhales and puts a brave face on things, nodding at Castiel. "The service of healing is a high calling which requires... patience."

Ashe gives a sly little smile for a moment to the audience before the gleam fades from her eyes and a buoyant smile replaces it. "And there you have it, our debut song..." the fog/smoke machine sputters and dies behind her, a little fire flaring up for good measure. "... Of riot farm! And as a special gifts to all our fans, we've left some merch out on the tables." she says, gesturing to the profusion of drugs strewn around. "Pick some up and support the band! Now lets hear a round of applause for... Lenore! Who almost organized our costumes for tonight, and will surely have something grand planned for our next performance!"

Chiara beams cheerfully, stepping to the side and clapping enthusiastic for Lenore, bringing her hand up to the side of her face every now and then to holler for her over the sound of the crowd.

Turning his attention more directly stageward, Malcolm gives an earnest cheer, along with a "Fuck yeah!" before he's back to quietly conspiring at the bar.

Lenore beams a smile at the crowd and gives a small continuous little wave as she makes eye contact with each and every single person she possibly can, "Thank you! Thank you! It's so good to be here with you all!" she giggles into her microphone.

Lilah slips away from where Serena and Castiel stand, heading deeper into the crowd for a moment.

"We got a GoFundMe, too! There's a QR code somewhere on the, uh... over there," Carla mentions and points somewhere with her drumstick. "We need a new guitar and stuff."

Serena cheers at the stage!

Lilah ducks into the crowd where Novel is unlucky enough to be passed out amongst the feet of many high and drunk party goers. With a grimace, she bends down to try and scoop him up, doing her best to shake him awake, because carrying him might be hard.

Ashe says, to carly, quietly conferring, "Wait, really? Did you set that up? Cause I like totally spaced. Or does that QR code go anywhere?"
Ashe moves over to quietly confer with Carla at her announcement.

Sandra stares at the band one person at a time. She comes to Ruprecht and points at the table of drugs again. "I can try another? That one was fun! It has me active!!"

"And she's my doctor," Castiel notes for Lilah's comfort, seemingly amused at saying that - or deciding it, evidently. Maybe Serena doesn't even have much say in the matter, either. Castiel's attention fades, though, as the song ends, and Lilah wanders elsewhere - and his gaze is drawn up to the stage. Since everyone else is cheering, Castiel does too - claps - with a somewhat confused look.

"It's just in case anybody wants to donate or whatever," Carla remarks and shrugs at Ashe. "Anyway, we rocked!"

Novel has definitely had the worst of it, people avoided stepping on him for the worst of it, drool down one corner of his cheek as he's hauled up by Lilah. "Ergh." He smacks his lips a few times, licking them, and reaches back behind himself with a wince to pull out a needle and toss it over into one corner. He reaches in grasp for Lilah's hand - and something else, a groping, a grasping as he wakes up. "Hey," He mumbles out, quickly recovering from - whatever it was. "Guess I was more tired than I thought."

Ashe beams and nods to Carla "Yeah, we were great! Did you hear how Dobsy was playing like a whole different song while I was doing my song? You don't hear any of the other bands playing two songs at once! We're so awesome."

Lenore spins around on the edge of the stage, "There's lots of smiles out there! So I think we did well!"

Chiara giggles into her wrist, "Is that what it was? I was wondering where all that extra music was coming from..." She glances out over the stage, "And yeah, what a crowd!"

Ruprecht goes to make an 'encore' pose, but whatever Sandra says in that tone of hers seems to absolutely freak him the fuck out. A few more talentless notes brutalize the guitar, and in the midst of the solicitation by Carla, he half-trips half-swings the butt of the acoustic right at Sandra's head-shoulder-region, whipping wildly into a frantic spin.

Seemingly out of nowhere, someone might have been messing around with them, a small freshly cut piece of mistletoe appears by the feet of Malcolm and Sandra

"It was kinda hard to hear anything," Carla admits and gets up from behind the drums. "But good job, everyone! I bet even more people will come to our next gig."

Lilah grimaces at the sight of that needle. "Novel, there's all kinds of dis-..." She just stops herself right there, shaking her head and muttering, "You've got to be immune to all of them," with a dry laugh at herself. The groping hands are met with a bit of amusement too, though she's clearly worried about the fellow's impromptu nap. "You've been busy, yeah. Need a chair, or a wall to lean against?" she asks him simply, no judgement there, as she gestures back over toward where she had been - not that far from where he fell, probably, or she'd have never seen it.

Ashe peers out from the stage at Lenore's words, squinting through the remnants of the smoke machine "Oh, you think? I can't see a thing. Oh, is there a fire extinguisher around here, or should we just get a bunch of beer?"

Kathlynn turns to Serena with a smile and introduces herself, "Hi... I'm Kat... I don't think like we've met before."

Malcolm doesn't notice whatever that is on the floor, preoccupied as he may be, and perhaps kicks it underfoot when he turns from the bar.

Serena turns towards Edith. "Doctor Rose! A pleasure to finally meet you!" She looks to Kathlynn. "Hello someone. A pleasure to meet you as well. How did you two enjoy the show?"

"Fire extinguisher please!," Lenore calls out to as she stands up on the stage, "We have an electrical fire!"

Sandra has apparently been hit suddenly for approaching people before, and she squeaks quickly, backing off from Ruprecht in a panic of her own. Her lips tremble and she keeps wide eyes on him, her hands up as much as she can in her retreat from the stage. She starts to strut away from it, but then has to hurry back and grab her bucket and scrub brush. "I-I'm sorry! I-I'll do my work, master!"

Ashe giggles at Lenore "I don't think this place has one."

Business concluded, Malcolm slips his way toward the door unobtrusively.

"Oh my god," Carla remarks and promptly flees the stage, hopping off of the end of it to join the crowd around Novel. "Were we good?"

Pointing through the crowd at Sandra, Lilah yells, "Use her bucket!"

Ashe is more casually about the gradually growing fire amidst the makeshift bar, assuming someone somewhere will handle it as she takes a step off the bar and gracefully falls to the floor beneath, moving to join Carla and Novel.

Lenore blinks around in a calm panic before beaming an anxious smile at the audience again before stepping off with Carla. She pops a pill once off the stage.

Chiara glances over her shoulder with a raise of her brows, eyeing the electrical fire with a few blinks of her eyes before dropping her rear to the edge of the stage and scooting off of it, joining Ashe and the others.

Ruprecht screams back in response to Sandra, a crazed noise coming straight from the stomach. It's just like the chatroom shitposting, but this time, that guttural churn borne of internalized demons that come straight to the ear. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"

Then he heaves it. The guitar. Just like the crack pipe from the intro of the show, but instead of into the crowd, he haphazardly slings it with his whole shoulder toward Sandra.

Then...

He flinches. 'Wakes' up to reality, claps his hands, echoes a few movements of the fuckin' chicken dance, and jumps off the stage with open arms. Like a pastor.

Kathlynn shakes her head as they try to chaos goblin the fire to death. Looking back to Serena she nods. "Yes, but please don't put me in the machine."

Novel produces a low laugh in response to Lilah, a dancing smile on his features, "Not-so-cleaning living," He growls back as he grasps her arm - and puts his feet and hand under himself as he pops back up. "Nah, nah. I'm good. Right? Just tired, apparently, you two, Lilah, Castile, I'm fine, thanks." As he brushes himself off easily and then he finally seems to note the fire,

"What, again?" He seems more exasperated then angry or truly panicking.

He flashes a smile at the band members that are suddenly swarming him, "And you guys did AMAZING! Carly, Ashe, Lenore, especially you Ashe, you all did great - hold on," He strides over to the burning and simply reaches into it, tearing parts out and HUCKING them out of the room with crunching and snapping, a violent disassembly of the makeshift stage in pieces. The floor is made of concrete and the outside lot isn't that flammable either. Chunks of burning wreckage go flying.

Sandra notices the pointing mostly because ahe's trying not to get swung on by anyone else. The pointing has her stop in place, not paying any attention until the sudden impact of Ruprecht's guitar sends a shock through her body, resonating up and down from the soft part of her side where it hit at. She promptly drops her bucket and collapses onto her side, curled up, hugging herself, and knocked windless amid the crowd.

Lilah suddenly laughs. It's girlish, but not carefree and light-hearted. It definitely has an edge to it. "Oh my God," she declares to everyone and no one all at once. "This place is wild." She seems content to let Novel go again, once he's on his feet, though she does roll her eyes slightly as he drifts off toward the band, and the fire. "I could have put that out, in different circumstances," she notes to Castiel, then leans in to give him a little hug. Random. But she's in a hell of a good mood, apparently.

"And Chiara," Carla tells Novel and puts her arm around Chiara's shoulders, grinning cheerfully. "She's the newest member."

Serena blinks in surprise at Kathlynn, but then her attention goes to the burning wreckage flying through the air.

Lenore's body seems to shudder and her eyes dilate moments after taking the pill, "W-whoa..." she blinks and looks at her hands, "Th-that's not my medication." She giggles suddenly out of no where, "Thanks Novel!"

Ashe calls out loudly "Last chance for merch, everyone!" she calls, moving to grab some of the available "merchandise" from the bar.

Carla glances uneasily at Castiel and puffs some wayward hair out of her face. "Anyway," she continues and smiles proudly at Novel. "Uh, is anyone getting that fire under control? I sure ain't going over there."

Chiara stumbles into Carla's side with a giggle and a bashful grin, looking up to Novel, "Fun way to get introduced to town, that's for sure. Thank you for having us, Mister Novel!" She leans her weight into Carla slightly, glancing over her shoulder as people shuffle around amid the crowd.

Castiel is a little too distracted watching Novel rush away with knit brows and a strange look nestled to his eyes. Were it otherwise, maybe he wouldn't be so off-guard by the more distracting hug from his side by Lilah, something that leaves him completely still, with hands in his pockets unmoving. Motionless as he is, Castiel still tilts his head, casts a downward look at her that's cross between amused and taken-aback in equal measure. "You may need to put him out after he's done."

Kathlynn says to Ashe "Do you have any tee shirts?"

"Probably," Lilah says but she doesn't look terribly concerned for Novel's safety as he goes around tearing up burning electrical things. "I don't think he'll melt that easily though." She grins up at Castiel, seeming only then to realize that she might be making him uncomfortable. So, she steps away again, looking briefly around for Serena in the crowd. "I should probably go though... she does add."

Ashe calling back to Kathlynn "Did you say did I have any tea or desserts? Yeah, there's like totally powdered sugar and uh, grain tea!" she calls back with a buoyant smile.

Ashe approaches Castiel with a cheerful smile, buoyant, carefree demeanor adpoted upon her youthful visage as she offers a dime bag "Some merch sir? You're the guy who's cat I rescued, right?"

Carla meander off through the crowd and finds her way over to the wall.

Ruprecht takes his praise by force, acting out several poses for false paparazzi existential only within his scattered, smoked-out mind. One sees him like someone swearing in an oath, but with the bloody palm of his *left* hand up rather than the proper right. Another one has him leaning with an elbow out, and a third doing that quirky shrug from earlier. He does look down at Carla, as if momentarily concerned for her state, but... he's actually just looking for his guitar. A red-gummed grin of ivory whites sees the crowd face first as he suggests, "There's TOO MUCH powder sitting out! TOO many DRINKS! We have acid, we have ambien -- we have GHB! If you're looking for anything else..."

He waves to Novel, then across the 'audience' as they may be. "We've got it. Thorazine! Alprazolam, trenbolone! Even INSULIN at CUT RATE! South African special, and always at a fixed cost guarantee!"

"Hey! I think someone's on fire over there," Carla mentions after making her way through the crowd to get closer. "Did you guys see me on the drums? I practiced a little bit yesterday."

Kathlynn gives Carla a squishy hug, squishier than before. "You did great!"

Lenore taps Carla's shoulder, "Totes forgot... Abigail is gonna ransack your room later, probably," she giggles and grins like the news is no big deal, then she dances and sways around the room.

Kathlynn looks back up to Edith with a wry glance and a smile.

"You don't have to," Castiel replies, humored maybe, upon a closer inspection of Lilah's face, and that discomfort from earlier turns to a smile just at the edge of his mouth. He makes a wordless gesture, takes out his hand to wave it off as if in dismissal of something unsaid, like it doesn't matter, but Ashe does sway his attention soon after - to which he replies; "You're the girl that stole that cat." And after a single breath of pause, his brow lifts, "What's in the bag?"

"Ugh, thanks for the warning! I don't think I got anything super blasphemous in there," Carla calls back to Lenore while embroiled in a big hug with Kathlynn.

As if to suggest the priorities of the current situation, Ruprecht rips open a plastic dimebag of some weird pink cathinone powder with his teeth and swallows the resulting slurry whole, chasing it with a pink pill of a similar color. Immediately, he starts quivering anxiously, that nosebleed from earlier profusely worsening. He stumbles around, falling over promptly, should anyone not catch him.

Moments later Sandra gets her breath back, staring at Ruprecht. She's trembling after that well-thrown hit with the guitar, and she carefully picks it up and staggers back to the stages. She stares up at Ruprecht, wincing and sniffling. "I-I'm sorry, master!", she says, setting the guitar on stage. She staggers back to the scrapyard bar afterward, taking a seat on the floor by her spilled bucket. She zones out in the pain, the effects of drugs, probably some mild shock. But she'll zone back in soon, probably.

"Drugs," Lilah says to Castiel, offering a wave to the others that gather around, before she starts for the door.

Novel crunches, smashes - and then eventually there's a RIP and the lights momentarily flicker as he yanks the cabling directly out of the wall. Thus done, another piece of the wall comes peeled off, a chunk of sheet metal as he smacks the flames repeatedly, ignoring the burning debris and occasionally ZZZzap that would make a normal person's muscles twitch. But it's not long before it's out, and he's stained with soot and other unmentionables. He snaps at the bartender with his fingers and voice, "Get the guys and hauling this shit outta here!" Before he does his best to brush himself off, leaving the messy pile where it lies to turn back - and rejoin the crowd.

"That's a killer outfit," Carla mentions after untangling herself from Kathlynn's hug. "I don't really like drugs but I guess there's lots if you guys want any. Er, if Doctor Rose lets you, I mean. I dunno."

Ashe gives a cherubic smile to Castiel "You're welcome. Oh, I think it's coke. You sniff it. It's pretty good stuff, and it'll help you with your prayers. Lotsa people says it brings them closer to god and stuff."

Lorenzo raises an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth twitching into a wry smirk as he takes in Sam's words. He leans back slightly, the light catching the subtle mischief in his eyes. "Manager on paper, huh? Sounds like the perfect alibi for a man who knows how to delegate his debauchery," he quips, glancing around the room with a feigned air of appraisal. "Pure form, you say? Well, I must admit, there's a certain charm to watching chaos from the eye of the storm. Makes you feel almost... saintly in comparison, doesn't it?" His tone is light, teasing, but there's a spark of intrigue behind his gaze as he watches the shadows play around Sam.

Serena smiles at Carla and Lenore. "I must take my leave, but you all did wonderfully!"

Novel joins in with Ruprecht's call, "HELP YOURSELF TO THE CANDIES PROVIDED BY THE WONDERFUL CAAAAATMAN. INQUIRE TO HIM FOR FURTHER DOSES - REMEMBER, THE FIRST ONE'S FREE!"

"I don't know if we have any but I can definitely get one printed for you. We got a band logo and everything," Carla tells Kathlynn and shows her the ring she's wearing. "Thanks, Doctor Sante!"

Lenore twirls in behind someone and bumps into her shoulder with a giggle, like she's in the best mood she's ever been, "I feel so good!"

Lenore twirls in behind Carla and bumps into her shoulder with a giggle, like she's in the best mood she's ever been, "I feel so good!"

Chiara eavedrops on Ashe and Lenore's conversations with a grin, swaying with the crowd and stumbling from person to person as she just listens and absorbs the atmosphere.

"Sheesh, did you already do a bunch of drugs?" Carla asks with a mirthful scrunch of her nose and peers at Lenore. She reaches for her friend's arm to reel her in and spin her around cheerfully. "Doctor Sante says we were awesome."

Kathlynn gives Lenore a squishy hug too... squishier than her last one.

Stepping up from Kathlynn's side to behind her, Edith wraps her arms around the redhead. "It was..." Edith pauses, considering her words. "Not dreadful." she tells Carla and Lenore. There me be some artistic liberty in that claim.

Shadows flicker around the room, resembling a snake for a couple seconds, slithering along the foot of everyone gathered, just to go back to normal moments later

Lenore giggles and nods enthusiastically at Kathlynn, "God I hope so! We could really learn to harmonize!" she cackles and nods, "Oh that's so kind of Serena... I wanted to ask her about my meds though... I think I took the wrong ones," she blinks, pupils as large as saucers.

"I see." Castiel considers Ashe, what she says - and what the other woman said before leaving. "I thought coke was a liquid." His eyes are drawn to the bag that he's hefting in the palm of his hand, before he turns to look at Novel who's approaching just in the nick of time. The nose-flour his lifted up a little, hopped up and down, as if he wordlessly asks his opinion on whether he should take Ashe's word, or not.

Ashe steps back from Castiel, watching him even as she subtly reaches out to try to grab Lenore's hand.

Stepping away, Edith leaves Kathlynn to her socializing, moving over to the bar and sitting; Heels. What are you gonna do.

Lenore blinks and squeezes Ashe's hand back, "Mmmhmmmmm...?"

Ashe drags Lenore towards her with a mischievious smile, and with a quick hip check to another woman in her way, moves to twirl Lenore in a quick gallant dance step. "Hey!" she says by way of greeting.

A snake hiss spreads around the crowd and the bar for a good couple seconds

Lorenzo looks about for a moment, "I haven't had any tea lately, I'm guessing you two have the sight beyond sight." He motions as if holding a sword aloft his eyes.

Lenore giggles as Ashe twirls her, "Hey! I-I think someone switched out my drug bag," she snorts and shakes her head before looking at Kathlynn, "It's all thanks to Ashe! She brought it all together truly! I just put some costumes together and look pretty."

Kathlynn isn't seeing anything Ashe does

Sandra holds her left side with her right hand, bending over her arm a little. "Oh my god that hurt so much! He has an arm like Sven!"

Ashe totally just grabbed Lenore's hand and twirled her. "Hey Kat! So whatcha think? Yeah! Your room was kinda the inspiration."

Lenore pats herself down, "Oh shit. Left my phone in the room," she shrugs and smiles.

Edith nods to Sam.

"I gotta call my mom and tell her we did our first gig," Carla mentions to Ashe and Lenore after looking at her phone for a while. "I might be back a little later but it depends if I get sleepy, okay?"

Ashe shrugs a bit to Kathlynn "I dunno, we spent like ten minutes on choreography. How long do most people spend on it?" she asks, giggling as she returns the hug.

"I'll catch up with you later!" Carla promises and waves to her friends.

Lenore takes a nearby daqiri off a table and starts drinking it. She pauses for a moment before peering at its darker coloration through a light. "That's... different."

A howl reminding that of a wolf spreads across the room, one would imagine it comes from outside, but it seems to originate in the center of the space

Of course, Ruprecht falls right onto the floor, cracking his head and coughing weakly. He rises to a standing position like a corpse from below, rolling his shoulders briefly like a cat dismissing embarassment. His head shakes twice and he walks up to the bar, snatching the bag've mushrooms with a jittery hand and a shaking chin. He's babbling some kind of insane mumble, unable to keep track of his own thoughts -- not to mention his heartbeat. Then he walks over to Sandra, shaking it. Like a peace offering. His head tilts questioningly.

Chiara disperses from the crowd and heads to the wall, leaning her back against it and folding her arms as she listens with a casual smile, leaning over to snatch a random drink from a table. She twirls the glass a bit, coercing the straw to collide with her lips so she can nurse on that beverage with a soothed sigh out through her nose.

Given that Novel doesn't quite reply, Castiel weighs his options, weighs Ashe for another second, and his phone in his other hand. Then, Castiel turns around - starts to wander elsewhere from the pit of the crowd while tearing the bag with his teeth. All the 'dust', promptly poured in his mouth.

Ashe beams and waves to Chiara "Come to join the cool kids?" she asks, still kinda haphazardly hugging Kathlynn with one of her arms.

Ashe yells a loud WOOO, pumping her fist at Castiel "That's how to party!"

Chiara smirks to Ashe, turning her shoulder to peel away from the wall and stepping closer, "Always." She giggles, glancing to Kathlynn with a raise of her brows, "I'm new in town, my name is Chiara! Nice to meet you!"

Kathlynn gives Ashe one last congratulary hug then pulls away. "Hi Chiara, I'm Kat."

Novel gives Castiel a double-thumbs up and a huge smile. "Let me take some myself before I go - let's see..."

Ruprecht passes them off willingly to Sandra, some blood from his hand sticking to the bag. He smiles an obscure form of expressive cheer, clapping both hands together and waiting to see Sandra's response to the bag. Surely, she's gonna eat them, right? That's the question his whole face asks. Then, he gasps, realizing Edith said hello. "Hi! Hihowdy, howdy, Edie -- howzitzdoin?"

Meanwhile, Castiel only coughs some dust out, once. It's such a strange sound that it seems like he's never coughed in his life - and the improper drug-taking for a first-timer inadvertantly ends up with him having to draw a thumb around the corner of his mouth to wipe away the excess, and then wipe his hand over his jacket. For once, Castiel actually blinks- several times, like his vision is hazy and he has to make an effort to do it, or that he's not quite catching up to what he sees.

Ashe nods to Kathlynn as she gestures to Chiara "We helped Chi get acquainted with the school when I found her outside. We got her signed up for classes, and I deathbattled Maria for her to show her how it's done." she says beaming.

Chiara grins and rolls her eyes, one hand on her hip as she goes for another sip of her drink, "Yeah, next time try to be the one *killing*, Ashe. It's cooler than dying!"

Chiara grins and rolls her eyes, one hand on her hip as she goes for another sip of her drink, "Yeah, next time try to be the one *killing*, Ashe. It's cooler than dying!" (re)

Ashe nods a bit to Kathlynn "Yeah, but sister Abi mucked it up and both of us ended up surving. I got a rib broken though, so that was cool."

Sandra holds the bag up, tilting her head while she inspects the contents. A smile comes to her face and she says, "Berzerker tea..." Her eyebrows tick up twice and she looks around, then at her spilled bucket. She frowns at it and rolls her eyes, plucking a mushroom out to chew on. "I guess I have to skip the tea and do this the nasty way.", she says to Ruprecht with a shrug, smiling at him.

Lenore giggles into a cackle with red daiquiri streaks down the sides of her chin, "Did you just get Castiel to do cocaine," she snorts at Ashe and nods, "Yeah... Maria really laid into Ashe."

Sandra continues to eat more after that, just kind of one at a time.

Ashe rolls her eyes at Lenore "I got a good hit in. I woulda gotten a lot more if Abi hadn't mess it all up." She beams at Kathlynn "I'm not really sure, but I think I drugged Lenore at some point and she's declared holy vengeance?"

Kathlynn nods, "Well... like yeah... she's a trained knight... and like seems totes repressed."

Chiara giggles, nodding her head, "Yup! That sounds accurate. She's got a screw loose, huh?"

"Not bad, right? Castiel? Gives you a little -oomph-," Novel says with burgeoning cheer and a roll of his shoulders, bouncing from foot to foot in spite of the fact he's scrunged up and covered in scuff and dirt and ash and the remains of the electrical fire with a happy sigh.

Ruprecht occasionally looks over at Castiel from his various other sources of drug-addled attentive separations, eyebrows high, eyelids blasted to the top. He looks down at his own feet, almost as if impressed with himself for some reason. An eye then goes up Castiel again, following next to Sandra as she chows down. Two big thumbs up are offered, and he lights a fresh Pall Mall 100 without concern for cancers. Lorenzo gets a shrug, as if he doesn't seem so concerned of the hallucinations to come. "Does ANYONE understand what the HELL this lady's language is?!"

Kathlynn says "Well... try not to get like killed... but I need to head back home after I tell Mistress something."
Kathlynn waves to the three of them.

Ashe nods quickly to Kathlynn "I'll probably take off too. Do you have a car? Can I hitch a ride?"

Kathlynn walks over to the bar and rests her head on Edith's shoulder. "Mistress, I have that thing. If you want to stay here, I can walk home."
