Harriets Pool Party 240728

During Harriet's lush and elegantly hosted pool party, a slew of characters engaged in festive chaos, highlighted by Harriet and Peyton's intense pool noodle jousting competition. The party, set against the backdrop of Harriet's sophisticated home and its grand pool, was a swirl of conversations, splashing, and laughter. Solomon, exuding charm and cryptic allure, interacted with various guests, including a heated exchange with Tabitha, revealing undercurrents of unresolved tension and intrigue. As the pool games escalated, Korina emerged victorious, declaring her undefeated status after skillfully taking down both Harriet and Peyton. Amidst the fun, an underpin of drama unfurled with Fawn's erratic behavior and Astrid's threatening presence, leading to a collective decision to handle the disruptive guest.

The night concluded with Korina's triumph in the pool noodle joust, her declaration of victory met with Harriet's admission of defeat. Solomon's playful yet menacing interaction with Tabitha by the poolside hinted at deeper stories waiting to be told. Meanwhile, the party was momentarily overshadowed by Astrid's alarming actions, culminating in her removal from the festivities, ensuring the safety and continuation of the celebration. Through the blend of watery exploits and interpersonal dynamics, the pool party remained a testament to the complex tapestry of relationships and power plays within this vibrant community.

The Entrance Hall
This grand entrance hall that exudes an air of elegance and sophistication,
with high, arched ceilings of aged hardwood. A magnificent chandelier hangs
from the center, its crystal droplets casting a warm, inviting glow
throughout the space. The walls are paneled with rich, dark wood, creating a
sense of warmth and depth. The floor is covered in polished marble tiles,
arranged in a geometric pattern that adds to the overall grandeur of the
room. To the north and south, wide hallways lead off to the respective wings
of the house, their entrances framed by ornate archways. A grand staircase,
with intricately carved wooden banisters, sweeps down to the lower level,
its steps covered in plush carpeting that muffles the sound of footsteps.
To the west, the entrance hall opens up to the dining room, separated by a
set of impressive double doors. The doors are made of the same rich, dark
wood as the wall paneling, with brass handles that gleam in the light of
the chandelier.

It is about 75F(23C) degrees.

"I appreciate," Solomon tells Harriet. "I'll be out in just a moment. Thank you again for your hospitality," he tells her.

Autumn says "Not really, Jordan. Not that I know of on making people temporary demonborn."
Tabitha dips a toe into the water to test how cold or warm it is. She's like a redheaded Goldilocks, afterall. It has to be just-right. She looks behind her a moment and says to those still by the food, "It won't eat you. Tonight, at least. No guarantees for other nights. But tonight. I think you are safe."

Harriet leads Trevor out to the poolside area where all of the food is. "Feel free to eat, drink, and or join us in the pool." She's heading back in, pool noodle in hand.

Harriet slides back into the water, heading towards her chosen pool toy.

Jordan nods to Solomon. "Hello."

"Hello," Solomon says to Jordan with a smile. "I think I fancy a little time in the pool, though. I'll be out sometime soon."

Jordan nods at someone

Solomon wades into the pool, looking around with some lazy interest.

Freya(wolf) huffs as she takes up most of one side of the pool, giving Harriet a nuzzle with her giant muzzle before jumping out of the side.

Harriet takes a few moments to actually be able to stand up atop the inflatable mattress-like toy and then is telling Autumn, "Grab a pool noodle. Try to hit one of us with it. If we knock you off your float, then you have to drink a swig of whiskey. If you end up losing your balance and falling on your own, you drink a swig of the vodka."

Harriet gets nuzzled and almost falls off of her float again.

Amy swishes her legs in the pool, seated on the edge.

Freya(wolf) shakes herself, getting rid of water on her fur and splashing everyone massively with water.

Trevor wanders into the pool, testing the water a moment, before, jumping right in.

Peyton sort of haphazardly guides her floatiecorn towards Harriet, lowering her bright yellow pool noodle like a jousting lance as she bobs inexorably closer.

Jordan says "Hit it and quit it pool pup?"
Astrid hasn't moved since the last of her screams cut off, but she stares at Freya's feet just because of where those landed.

Freya says "Nah can't play pool games while that big"
Jordan grins at Freya as they check up on her.

Jordan says "Oh, fair."
Freya says "You sure you don't want to go in?"
Freya peers at Jordan questionly

"Autumn," Solomon tells Autumn. "You look delightful," she says. "And Peyton," he says to Peyton, greeting her. There's a look at Tabitha. "Tabitha -- enchanting as when I last saw you." Then a glance at Amy. "We haven't met," he tells her. "Solomon Inigo."

Harriet stances herself atop the floating pool mattress, holding up her own pool noodle and getting ready to attack as Peyton slowly but surely approaches on her unicorn.

"Good evening, Mister Inigo," Autumn greets Solomon while she grabs a red pool noodle. "Rare of me to see you here, especially in swimwear." Getting on top of a shark float, she then turns to Harriet and attempts a bonk towards her with the noodle.

Peyton licks some vegan mayo off her fingers as she finishes her veggie burger and begins her assault on castle Fairfax (@Harriet's pool floatie)

"If you read the Courier you may think me some awful villain, but that doesn't mean I can't relax," Solomon tells Autumn diffidently. "I'm a man no different than any other."

Jordan says "Yesssss! "
Freya considers throwing Jordan in the pool and then shakes her head to go back into the water in her swim suit.

Amy offers a hand to Solomon, "Amy Alazar," the young-looking woman says, "A pleasure."

Harriet is getting thracked, most likely, and she's... well, she hit the water with the pool noodle, at least. She laughs when Peyton sprays herself in the face, though.

Harriet goes to let more people in, though. "I'll be back!"

Peyton narrows her gaze melodramatically. "It's treason then." She says, though it's possible she means herself.

Tabitha peers aside at Solomon, and her arms cross tightly across her bosom. "Mmm." is her reply to the gorgeous but hideous all-the-same demonborn man.

Jordan says "Oh, sorry Freya! And no, but thanks!"
The catatonic state Astrid is in is almost full on eerie. Aside from her shallow breathing, she would have looked dead with her eyes just focused on that one lone spot. Regardless if anything moves into her vision, her eyes don't track it. Ever since Freya turned into that house sized beast, she's been in a state of absolute terror over a recurrence of her first trauma in Haven, seeing a wolf that huge out of nowhere.

"I overslept," Fawn claims, "I can't believe I nearly dozed through the pool party...!"

Jordan says "Fawn! "
Harriet climbs atop her trusty mattress.

Freya pushes Fawn into the pool ahead of her even as someone tries to speak to the poor woman and jumps into the pool with a big splash. The pool might be a bit low seeming now.... and Harriet may need to refill it at some point.

Freya pushes Fawn into the pool ahead of her even as the man tries to speak to the poor woman and jumps into the pool with a big splash. The pool might be a bit low seeming now.... and Harriet may need to refill it at some point.

Fawn shows up closely behind Freya, rocking a billowy shawl that falls translucently over her swimsuit. In recognition, she waves shyly at someone, betraying a certain stiffness in her limbs, like she'd just got finished with a workout.

"Ah, right," Autumn replies to Solomon, her lips curling into a grin before she turns to Fawn. "Hi, Fawn," she speaks while riding a floating toy shark.

Freya makes her way over to the shark and snags it, wrapping her arms around it as she yawns again.

Fawn curls her fingers at someone in an artsy little wave as she passes by, her shawl billowing behind her like some cropped princess's cloak. "Heeeeeey," she says to him and Autumn, "I'm so glad I didn't miss the party!"

Harriet has returned, and eventually manages to gain enough balance to stand and remain standing upon the inflatable air mattress. "Hah!" she cries out, holding up the pool noodle like it is something to be feared as she glances between Autumn and Peyton.

Fawn curls her fingers at someone in an artsy little wave as she passes by, her shawl billowing behind her like some cropped princess's cloak. "Heeeeeey," she says to him and Autumn, "I'm so glad I didn't miss the party!"

Peyton lifts her bright yellow pool noodle to the sky and cries out. "For the honor of Grayskull!" Before recklessly smiting Autumn.

Fawn curls her fingers in an artsy little wave as she passes by, her shawl billowing behind her like some cropped princess's cloak. "Heeeeeey," she says to him and Autumn, "I'm so glad I didn't miss the party!"

Harriet hit Peyton with her pool noodle. Bye, bye Peyton.

There's a pause for a moment, studying Fawn, and then an introduction. "Solomon Inigo," Solomon offers to her, something curious in his gaze before he looks back at the jousting festivities.

Peyton windmills her arms dramatically as she spills back off her floatie unicorn, crying out as if mortally wounded before she sinks beneath the dark water, though the fact that she's lit up like a glowworm herself makes the water brighten from beneath as she goes under.

Solomon looks back in Tabitha's direction, studying her. "Mmm," he replies to her genially.

As she approaches the pool, something comes over Fawn, as if she were about to succumb to a sneeze. Her eyes flit rapidly across each and every person congregating around the water, her brows knit into a confused little frown. Whatever's going through her head, it seems to fall right out again when Solomon introduces himself to her. "Oh," she sounds out, in a quiet voice, "Um, nice to meet you, Mr. Inigo..."

Freya sets herself over her shark and just watches the jousting, happy to be lazily floating around the pool.

Prodding Fawn gently, "Do you have a name?" Solomon asks.

watches as Peyton's noodle ends up flying to the water. She starts to giggle until she wobbles from Freya hugging the shark and ends up falling into the water with a splash. "Looks like I must drink vodka," Autumn says, her wet hair covering her blushing face as she squirts water out of her mouth.

Trevor being Trevor is apparently completely zoned out from the festivities around him for the time being. His focus seemed to be completely on the phone in his hand, that he's trying very hard to not get wet. Eventually, though, it seems he's done with that and he wades off to a side, to put his phone away and begin joining in on late night swimming activities.

Fawn blinks rapidly at Solomon, listening to him, clearly, but peculiarly distracted by something that she just can't seem to triangulate. "I'm-- um, I'm Fawn," she says.

Freya says "Northish then eastish!"
Harriet watches to make sure Peyton will be coming back up. She glances over her shoulder, and then says to Trevor, "I'll be right there."

Freya calls out towards the people at the side of the pool, "Poor Harry keeps having to leave."

Peyton's hat surfaces before she do. And when she does she's gasping with indignation, and grasping for the hat, to put back onto her head. She kicks her way over to the side of the pool and upsie-daisies the bottle of whiskey with a quick guzzle of a true party girl, before jealously kicking back over to her unicorn to reclaim it before anyone else can.

Amy eyes Solomon's neck a bit, before the woman twists her head to look over her shoulder at the entry. "How's the water?" She asks absently.

"Hey, Tabitha," Trevor smiles at the woman, wading over closer to her.

Jordan smiles at Harriet, then at Matthew. "Thank you, Harry."

Harriet brings Matthew out to the party, and she points at Jordan. "Jordan is there, obviously," she declares. "We're pool noodle jousting in the pool." And with that, she heads back into said pool.

Tabitha takes a seat at the edge of the pool so that she can stir the water around with her feet and calves without fully getting in. Her eyes narrow at Solomon for a moment. She opens her mouth to say something to the man who is acting rather cordial, but is distracted by Trevor wading over. She kicks water at him. "Hey."

Once again, Harriet is heading to her chosen mattress and climbs on top. She nearly topples off of it all by herself whilst trying to stand on it again.

Peyton culturally appropriates a "Yee haw" From further south as she smacks her lips at the taste of the Bourbon, giving her head a shake as she settles herself back on the Unicorn. Where did she get the white claw from? She's chasing that shot with it, wherever she did.

At Amy's eyes, Solomon turns to study her a little more -- tracking down her tattoos. "Hungry?" he wonders of her. "I suspect you might find me rather rich," he says, tilting his head to show off his neck to the girl. Is he teasing? Perhaps. Glancing back at Fawn, "Are you from around here, Fawn? I don't think we've met."

Matthew beams, giving a thumbs-up to Jordan and someone, then looking over to the former. "I'm surprised you're not in the pool." he chimes with a lift of his brows, looking over towards said pool curiously.

Matthew beams, giving a thumbs-up to Jordan and Harry, then looking over to the former. "I'm surprised you're not in the pool." he chimes with a lift of his brows, looking over towards said pool curiously.

Freya takes out her phone - thankfully waterproof and texts on it while she floats on her shark, gradually making her way to the side to be out of the way of people jousting.

"Goodness, you are a southerner," Harriet teases Peyton, using the teal pool noodle to help steer her pool float towards the blonde.

Trevor either doesn't dodge due to lack of skill, or just doesn't care - but regardless, the water hits him directly in the face and it doesn't even seem to have him falter. Instead, he just continues to wade right on over to her, being as friendly as he normally is. He hops up, next to her, careful to avoid splashing Tabitha, despite her just kicking water at his face. "Rude!" he mentions, but is all smiles.

"Others would find him handsome," Autumn muses to Fawn while she swims towards an empty spot near the edge.

Fawn eases in a bit closer to Solomon, taking one last slow twirl as she does so, absorbing her surroundings with that peculiar expression of total and utter bewilderment, like she's just become hopelessly lost, somehow. Whatever her issue is, it's something she tries to downplay, forcing herself to concentrate on Solomon - though he can't quite command her direct eye contact at all times, even the slightest stimulus catching her hyperalert gaze. "I'm, um, I mean I've lived here for a while, up on the north side of... of town-- I'm sorry, I... is it... is it really loud in here? Like really loud?"

Jordan blinks at Matthew incredulously.

Peyton snatches for a fresh noodle, friendship having ended with yellow, pink is her new best friend.

Jordan beckons Matthew over.

Amy twists the corner of her mouth a bit upward at the tease from Solomon, "Temptations," she chides, but her eyes focus on that neck. "I suspect you are."

Jordan says "Come sit with me a bit, before you join the battle?"
Matthew squints over to Jordan, before walking over to sit beside them. "What..?", he wonders, before he smiles slightly, giving a nod.

Harriet maintains her death grip of the teal weapon of choice. It's the oldest one in the pool noodle pack -- or at least it looks that way as its hue has been greatly reduced from hours upon hours under the sun and surviving the elements. "Miss Bennet," she says, wobbling atop the mattress.

"It's loud," Solomon tells Fawn from behind dark glasses. He turns to look back at Amy. "What's the world worth except tempting others?" he says. "Tabitha," he says, including the redhead in the conversation. There's some smile towards Tabitha. "Don't you think temptation gives us all a little something -- extra?"

Peyton narrows her gaze dangerously. "Lady Fairfax." She says, her tone just one smidge away from accent-mockery.

Harriet is never going to conquer the pool at this rate. She has to step off of her mattress once again and get the door. "I'll be back to smack you."

Astrid suddenly gasps in deeply, ignoring nine figments of her imagination who were never anywhere near that pool, and two who were never at poolside with her. For that is the ONLY way in which someone shrieking in terror at a house sized wolf, pissing herself, and going catatonic, would ever go without a single one of eleven supposedly present people doing anything. So the conclusion is that Astrid is literally the only person here who exists at all. She gets up and gets dressed, packing her food away to leave.

Fawn simply can't take it any longer - rude as it might be, she excuses herself from the conversation, a hand clamped against the side of her head, champing her teeth together.

Tabitha smiles aside to Trevor when he's at her side. She lifts one arm to wrap around the wet man to give him a hug and pulling him into her side. "I'm sorry," she allows, genuinely. When included into Solomon's conversation with someone, she falls to a silence a while, releasing Trevor.

Backtracking to the garden, Fawn looks for all the world like she's suffering the world's biggest migraine headache. Whatever's happening to her seems to diminish in intensity the further she gets from the pool, though she's left clutching the side of her head, a little breathless. "Oh, Nova," she exclaims, spotting Jordan all of the sudden, "Hey, what's the uh... what's the vibe?"

Tabitha smiles aside to Trevor when he's at her side. She lifts one arm to wrap around the wet man to give him a hug and pulling him into her side. "I'm sorry," she allows, genuinely. When included into Solomon's conversation with the timid woman, she falls to a silence a while, releasing Trevor. A single shoulder rises and falls. "You ask like I am some kind of temptress."

Matthew tilts his head, shaking his head. "You never told me.", he confirms with a squint to Jordan. "That's... Well, that sucks.", he decides on with a wrinkle of his nose.

"And you aren't?" Solomon asks Tabitha. His eyes trail to Trevor. "It's been quite some time, McNulty. I trust you remember me?"

Harriet leads Irma to the party, and then tells her, "Please, feel free to eat and drink, and or join us in the pool."

Jordan looks up at Fawn with a smile, and a tilt of their head. "What vibe? You okay? Need a sit? I welcome the company - I know this guy is going to get in the pool soon enough."

Peyton launches a pre-emptive assault before Harriet can stabilize herself, pink noodle going....

Intent on winning this battle, Harriet is climbing down into the pool, swimming to her chosen float, and then pulling herself atop it yet again.

"Hey," Irma says to Fawn and Jordan. She glances at the pool, clearly a little hesitant. She at least begins to slip out of her shoes, before she says to Matthew, "Hello."

Trevor snorts a little bit of a laugh at Tabitha, "You're good," he smiles at Tabitha again, "I needed the splash anyway." Trevor then turns to Solomon, his head tilting to a side. "Yes, I do."

Harriet gets hit by Peyton before she can even stand up on her float toy. She shrieks dramatically, entirely fake and wholly on purpose as she gets whapped and tries to stand up on the inflated mattress.

Jordan's invitation brings a measure of relief to Fawn's face. Still holding her skull, she wanders on over in their direction, plopping herself down on one of the loungers, her body language withdrawn and preternaturally defensive. "I'm... I'm okay, I just-- I feel really funny... oh! Irma? Irma!" There's the sunniness in her face again, a smile spreading across her features as she waves at Irma.

Jordan notices Irma at about the same time, waving with a grin as well. "Heya!"

Peyton tosses out an "Et Tu, Brute?" But she's the one doing the proverbial backstabbing here it seems like, as she stabs at Harriet from hell's heart.

Matthew smiles cheerily to Irma, giving her a lift of his hand in greeting. "Hello!", he chimes breezily enough, accepting then a cheeseburger from Jordan. "Hm..? Something? I wasn't sure, um, we were doing a food exchange, or something.", he comments cluelessly.

Irma hesitates, but then she shimmies out of her dress to stand in only her bathing suit, though she folds her arms across her bust. "How are you doing, sweetie?" she asks Fawn, before she introduces herself to someone. "I'm Irma."

Irma hesitates, but then she shimmies out of her dress to stand in only her bathing suit, though she folds her arms across her bust. "How are you doing, sweetie?" she asks Fawn, before she introduces herself to Matthew. "I'm Irma."

"To the right people." Tabitha says to Solomon, again kicking her feet about in the water as her gaze drifts to the battle royale in the pool.

Amy lifts a hand, using a dainty finger to tap at Solomon's neck- very light, very briefly, likely to avoid any violent consequence. "And when life gives in?" She asks, tongue then running across her teeth. But the party yanks her attention away, and the amount of people, "We all go to Hell anyway."

Harriet is determined to fight back, and as Peyton is about to attack, she's going to try and counter it...

Freya floats closer to the edge of the pool suspended on her shark. The dorsal fin is pointed way up and she roams around letting the water take her where it wills. "Would be nice if there was some sun now I guess.. To be relaxing in."

"I'm, um, I'm okay. I feel a little weird," Fawn remarks to Irma. The logical endpoint of 'feeling weird' seems to be impetus for her to help herself to the snack tray, grabbing a watermelon slice that reeks of vodka and nibbling on it at the corner. "Your swimsuit's really cute, by the way."

Tabitha shakes her head at Amy. "I don't believe that is true. Or I would not fight as hard as I do..."

Peyton has very few wobbling bits, so when she wobbles, it's a whole body affair, and she grips the proverbial reins of her floatie unicorn as if to rein it in from it's bucking and nearly spilling her over. "Ack!" She says, flailing back.

"I am pretty sure Hell had few nice places," Autumn says to Amy, letting out a low laugh. "Although, don't expect most of it to be vanilla."

Solomon turns to look at Amy when she taps his neck. No violence is in the offering, just a slow smile. "No, you're right, of course. We're all headed to Hell, Amy -- so we might as well enjoy ourselves along the road, don't you think?" He shifts in the water, radiating some pleasure.

Irma tells Fawn, "Thank you!" She looks over at the water, then back at Fawn. "So is yours. I could never wear something like that," she tells the girl. "Uh. How did things go last night?" she asks, biting her lip with a little worry.

Harriet swings right back at Peyton, getting hit, but also hitting her.

Peyton bwuhs and reaches up to check if her nose is still there, bobbing in place as she gasps in indignation a few moments later. "My precious nose!" She says the scratchy feeling of the old teal noodle imparting a sense of the impending doom that awaits all things under the sun. She strikes back with a sense of... Ennui.

Fawn tightly purses her lips, averting her eyes sharply from Irma. "It went fine," she suggests, and even a child could hear the avoidance in her tone. "I think I'll feel a lot less funny once I get in the water. You gonna swim?"

Irma frets to Fawn, "I don't know. Maybe I'll get a drink first."

"Oh, well, that's perfect." Matthew responds to Jordan with a smile, taking another crunch from his burger and looking satisfied, his eyes flitting over to the pool with a flash of his brows, then back to Jordan. "How's your day been..?", he wonders before looking to Irma with a smile after Jordan's comments. "That's good to hear! Well, hopefully I don't end up needing, like.. treatment like that.. But like, if I do, I'll be sure to see.. Yeah!", he chimes somewhat cheerily even so.

Jordan says "Fresh off the grill, courtesy of Peyton."
Irma asks Matthew, "What's your name?"

"Peyton? That fuckin' runway model made the burgers?" Fawn exclaims, her eyes growing a little wider.

"It's true -- you might need to see a rhinoplasty surgeon now," Harriet teases Peyton but then she gets hit by the pool noodle and she gasps, as if she should be the one offended. She takes aim...

Harriet watches as her precious pool noodle slips out of her hands.

Trevor idly kicks some pool water around, just listening to the din of conversation around him.

Letting herself back out of her seat, Fawn stretches, shaking out her hair, perhaps trying to see if she can jostle the weirdness out of her head. "Some girls get all the talent," she murmurs, wandering back toward the pool.

"Oh! Um.. I'm Matt. Matt Demirjian.", Matthew introduces himself with a smile, before snorting after Jordan. "O-oh, sorry.", he says, gingerly handing it back with two large bites missing out of it.

Jordan leans in to give Matthew a kiss before taking a bite of the cheeseburger.

Irma glances after someone. "I guess I should get in the water," she says, chugging her White Claw. "Nice to meet you, Matt," she says to Matthew.

Irma looks after Fawn. "I guess I should get in the water," she says, chugging her White Claw. "Nice to meet you, Matt," she says to Matthew.

Harriet looks to be fully expecting Peyton to take advantage of her weaponless state, but she's reaching, while also trying no to topple over, for the beloved teal pool noodle in all of its glory.

Stepping out of her sandals, Fawn picks up speed as she approaches the pool, bunches up her legs, and leaps right into the water, cutting through it like a knife. She resurfaces a few seconds later, reaching out for a pool noodle to steady herself as she wipes the water from her face.

Peyton counter-parries, for a scarce moment her pink noodle acting with the proper comportment of a fencing implement. Seizing the opportunity she presses her attack.

Matthew smiles, leaning back in to kiss Jordan in turn, then shaking his head a bit to his question. "N-no, I don't think so.", he murmurs, before smiling breezily to Korina. "Hello!", he chimes, chipper as always.

Amy grins lightly to Autumn, but her attention mostly remains on Solomon. "Very tempting," she murmurs half under her breath, "It's been a long time since I had anything but animal," she laments, shifting a bit closer to him. "You don't mind, do you? Since we're all damned anyway."

A stubborn one, it seems, Harriet is rocking back and forth while standing on the pool float, almost falling over -- but not quite! "Ah!" comes out in shock as Peyton smacks her again. She fishes the teal pool noodle out of the water and then has to find her balance again, giving the blonde plenty of time to attack her again. "Hello, Fawn," she manages Fawn's way while trying not to fall over.

Freya floats her way over on her shark inflatable and stops next to Tabitha, kicking her feet slightly as she stops next to the woman, "Anything good on this end of the pool where people arn't falling over into the water over and over?" She asks with another yawn.

One cheeseburger, then two cheeseburgers. Korina accepts both from Jordan with much pleasure, one in each hand, ad goes to take a large bite, no 'thank you's involved. There's a quiet glance over those present, and she eyes Matthew for a long moment, eyes flicking between him and Jordan. "Hi," comes the response, quiet and even after Matthew's greeting. "I will remember that." There may or may not be something ominous to the way she says it, but the effect is ruined when she goes to devour more cheeseburger with gusto.

Listening with a smirk, Autumn rests against the edge and lets her curvy body float in the water.

Korina said cheeseburger instead of hamburger way too many times.

Peyton ruthlessly presses her advantage, chopping for the back of Harriet's exposed neck as Harriet dips down to retrieve Harriet's crusty old nood.

A little bewildered looking, Fawn's head turns about like a kestrel's, trying to find the source of a voice until she spots Harriet. "Oh, hey... you," she answers back. It's painfully obvious she doesn't remember the other woman's name.

Jordan finishes the one and only cheeseburger with casual innocence.

Irma wades into the edge of the pool, looking more than a little embarrassed.

Tabitha pokes her tongue at a tooth as she watches between Amy and Solomon. She puts her hands on either side of her and tightens her grip on the ledge so she can ease herself into the water fully, but remain out of the line of attack. She shakes her head to Freya, "No. Nothing really. I was just going to see what mischief was going on over that way."

There isn't really time for Harriet to even notice that Fawn doesn't remember her name because Peyton is brutally beating with a pool noodle that does very little actual harm to her. "Ah!" escapes her mouth again, and she's trying to take a swing right back at the blonde.

Trevor snorts at Tabitha and Freya, "Depends on your definition of good," he states, "I've," he points at Tabitha, flashing a little toothy grin, "have already been attacked by her."

Harriet decided she is a music director, apparently.

Freya raises an eyebrow at Tabitha, "You attacked him and he doesn't have a tongue lolling out?" She asks in mock disappointment before turning back to Trevor, "I can attack you and dunk you under if you like." She offers in a sincere voice. "So you get properly attacked."

"Mmm. So forward," Solomon tells Amy. "You crave it, I'm sure, don't you?" He studies her for a moment. "But you can control your cravings -- for now, at least," he tells her. "Do you wonder what it's like to lose control?"

Fawn paddles her way back to the edge of the pool, pulling an arm up over the lip, using it to anchor herself so that she can float in place, letting the cool pool water soothe her. Diving in seems to have done wonders for her disposition - she still casts querulous glances around, as if she were hearing things, but at the very least, she seems to be enjoying herself.

Matthew blinks, tilting his head to Korina, before smiling lightly still, eyes drifting to Jordan, then back to her, then leaning back comfortably in his sun lounger.

"I barely flicked water at you," Tabitha claims at the accusation from Trevor.

Peyton fends off the blows, growing increasingly harried looking. With desperation she strikes back.

Against the edge of the pool, Irma just rests, neck-deep in the water.

Irma says, hesitantly, "Hi. I'm Irma."
Peyton cackles as her blow strikes true, regaining confidence. Many fall in the face of chaos, but not this one. not today.

Once again, Harriet loses her pool noodle. Apparently it is not -that- beloved if she keeps letting it go... although it is said that if you love something, you should let it go... Maybe there is a deep bond there, after all.

Korina finds and plucks out a slice of tomato from her burger, and then decides to get rid of the lettuce and onion as well until all she's left with is bun and burger patty. Thus satisfied with her meal, she wanders off to the pool without another word - there is certainly not Korina anymore, good luck Jordan.

Trevor slips into the pool, wading over towards Freya and Tabitha, "It was a brutal, vicious attack I say!" Trevor points out at his face, there's no water there anymore. "You see what she did? Water! All over! It's a shame! A brutal attack!"

Jordan smiles over at Korina, more openly warm than they usually show, possibly even downright affectionate. "And I know I'm always in good hands with her."

Harriet gets struck by Peyton who is a natural pool noodle jousting champion.

Trevor turns slightly, "Hey, Irma, I'm Trevor!"

Korina wanders in holding a hamburger in her hands, and takes a lone seat at the edge of the pool away from people. If someone splashes her burger to sogginess, they may die, with the way she's carefully protecting it between bites.

Peyton chugs from her white claw, as if it were a life sustaining potion. Then with an executioners cold dispassion she strikes what may be her final blow.

Freya waves at Irma as she notices the other nurse around and then narrows her eyes at Trevor, "You missed me shaking water out didn't you..." She asks suspiciously but she's too busy clinging onto her inflatable shark to try and attempt to splash Trevor.

Solomon glances towards Korina, noting her with some curiosity. "Good evening," he says, from where he seems to be in some conversation with Amy. He introduces himself: "Solomon Inigo -- a pleasure, I am sure."

Harriet is a resilient woman aganst Peyton's pool noodle, and she's finally able to reach her teal one again. She's mostly looking impessed she hasn't plunged head first into the depths for at least ten minutes. Almost falling off, the tall brunette steadies herself to the best of her abilities atop the mattress, and locks her hazel gaze upon Peyton. It's time for war.

"I like your swimsuit cover," Tabitha tells Irma, trying to pull her attention away from Solomon, her cheeks flaring pink.

Harriet's luck only lasted so long. She's down beneath the surface again!

Peyton need hardly strike a blow, her natural elegance and poise enough to slay by attrition alone.

"Oh!" Irma says to Tabitha. "I meant to take it off, I just forgot." There's a blush, some embarrassment on her cheeks as she sets it by the side of the pool.

"It's still cute," Tabitha claims.

"No," Trevor replies to Freya, "I did not," he cocks his head at her. "You better not attack me with water either!" Trevor then turns, glancing over at Irma, finishing off his introduction with the woman. "Nice to meet you as well!"

Korina pauses mid-bite of hamburger when she's addressed, glacial eyes briefly narrowing at Solomon's introduction. There's no response to it for a while where she goes back to nomming, but then she eventually points out, "People who wear sunglasses in the pool at night are afraid of something." No introduction in return, just a casual dismissal while she goes back to eating.

Amy nearly moves for Solomon's throat, but pulls away, a grin on her face. "Haven't in a long time- lost control, I mean," she tells him, despite the proximity and temptation. "You make that streak difficult. What do you do, Inigo?" She asks him, lightly bumping her shoulder to his own.

When Harriet does resurface, she's beaming. She also produces a faint moan of all things, but... anyways, she's swimming over to the side of the pool to take her swig of nasty vodka while Peyton continues to reign supreme.

"Hello there," Autumn looks up to see Korina, her face lightly blushed as she starts to grin. "Yeah, burgers are good tonight. So is water."

Freya goes to look for someone only to find her gone. "She really is. I guess she didn't like that no one cared about the ragefit she had on the lounge room."

Peyton says "at least you're getting rid of it I suppose. It looks horrible."
Solomon replies to Korina, "Perhaps I'm merely a rule-follower. After all -- the party is open to all." He tips his gaze in her direction, tilting his sunglasses down for a moment.

Fawn soaks up the party vibes, engaging with no one, being mostly left alone to float in the pool, occasionally glancing at her phone, where anyone tuned to the chatroom might notice she's poking the living shit out of an internet troll.

Harriet's throat burns, as do her lungs, but she swallows the perol-like liquid down. Her long lashes bat some and her eyes water. A single tear slips down a cheek, likely do to the fumes of the Russian bathtub made liquor. After this, she's swimming back to the float.

Freya flashes Fawn a grin and gives her a thumbs up, always seeming into like it when Fawn engages in the chatroom. She has her phone out and scrolling too while osmosing the conversation around her.

Catching Freya out of the corner of her eye, Fawn smiles winsomely at her from across the pool. She mouths something that's totally inaudible, but is probably 'you seeing this shit?'

Fawn jolts suddenly, as if she'd been pushed by somebody. She stares right at Tabitha, wide-eyed and wearing an inchoate expression that is perfectly impossible to read.

Peyton watches Harriet with some sympathy, laying a soft hand over her heart, her heart beating with compassion. "I have a few bottles of vodka in my room, or was it supposed to be a punishment." She giggles and flushes a little with her own slight inebriation.

Freya sighs at Fawn, "If she was still here I wanted to knock her out and take her phone and chuck it in the pool. We could've played keepawaysies." She tells Fawn miserably. "But I guess she left because no one caried about the tantrum she was throwing."

"See?" Trevor lifts a fist up, "I'm feeling vindicated," he looks to Tabitha, then to Fawn. "Are you being attacked too??"

"Falling off due to one's own ineptness deserves a punishment," Harriet is claiming to Peyton as she's crawling and shimmying onto the floatation device. The world is spinning a little, but all is well.

Tabitha's fingers twitch and they ball up to a fist before she grasps hold of the ledge of the pool and heaves herself up out of the pool, twisting herself around so she can sit there, drenched in water that cascades down her body and pools at her bottom. She catches Fawn's eye a moment and cants her head some, with a look that is cautious and curious.

"Yeah, no, I had to... um... step over her on the way out here," Fawn murmurs, her train of thought beginning to derail, her eyes never leaving Tabitha. That muddied expression has solidified into bewilderment. "Huh?" she asks, the spell breaking, glancing confusedly at Trevor. "I-- I'm sorry, what did you ask me?"

Korina considers that response for a few moments, then nods her head at Solomon. Fair enough. He's given less importance than her burger after that.

"Ah," Trevor shrugs at Fawn, "Nothing, don't worry about it." He dives underneath after, swimming in a slow circle near the bottom of the pool a few moments before finally, resurfacing - water dripping from his face, and hair.

Peyton peers at harry through the hole thru her noodle. "If you say so." She says, smiling sweetly, and concentrating so that she glows just a little brighter.

Harriet is giggling. It's a bit strange, but that is what is happening. Her soft lips form a wide smile and she looks like she is living her best life. She stabilizes herself on the toy again.

"Going to share a name?" Solomon inquires of Korina, though then he returns to look at Amy. "I am a lawyer, of course," he tells Amy. One hand is beneath the water, the other gesturing. "I practice all sorts -- I joke, of course, that my specialty is laws natural and unnatural, but in truth the practice is mostly... transactional."

With Trevor seeming to dismiss the issue, Fawn is left just a little more confused than before, shaking her head swiftly, getting that faraway look in her eyes again. Abruptly she hikes herself up over the edge of the pool, sitting herself on the lip, letting her hair and swimsuit drip copiously as she tries to find stability on terra firma, instead.

Harriet abandons the teal thing for an orange one. She appraises it with those hazel eyes, lips still with their outer corners lifted in a brigh smile.

Peyton joins in the giggling, a girls girl through and through, and balances again on her unicorn back into fighting position. "Miss Harry, you're going to get booped to death at this rate." She matches Harriet's energy with an equally or perhaps, well, technically, MUCH MORE sunny smile.

"Doing okay?" Irma asks Fawn, though she's mostly just sitting back, taking in the crowded pool. She waves to Autumn and Amy. "Hi," she says. "I'm Irma."

Looking at Peyton with a tilt of her head to the right, Harriet raises both naturally arched eyebrows at the other woman who is her adversary when it comes to pool noodle jousting. She gets struck yet again, and she's wide-eyed, but manages to stay afloat for now. Retaliation is then attempted...

Fawn's immediate instinct is to nod a few times, but the way she chases it with a helpless, confused little frown at Irma suggests otherwise. "I, um, is-- is someone shining a laser light or something?" she asks her.

Fawn's immediate instinct is to nod a few times, but the way she chases it with a helpless, confused little frown at Irma suggests otherwise. "I, um, is-- is someone shining a laser light or something?" she asks Irma. (targetting sorry!)

Harriet misses. She really, really misses.

Irma looks at Fawn with worry. "Feeling okay, sweetie?"

Peyton sticks out a tiny pink tongue, half-turning to waggle her toned butt and give it a little self-spank to taunt. "Harry you're usually much more accurate than this." She says, her hazel eyes darkling as she whops in for another counter-strike as Harriet is left wide open.

Tucking her head in close to Irma, Fawn confides quietly, "I feel really funny..." Her eyes look wide as saucers, and tend to stab their way around the pool party. It's like she's been looking for someone specific this entire time, can't find them, and has no idea where to even begin.

Freya blinks at Fawn confusedly as well as she paddles over to the side of the pool near Fawn, "Yeah are you alright?" She wonders looking very dangerous sprawled out on the inflatable shark.

Trevor wades to the edge, grabbing it, pulling, twisting and plopping himself down. He ends up near Tabitha - where he left his phone earlier. Trevor grabs it, unlocks it and frowns at something on it, beginning to idly kick his feet in the water.

"I'm Autumn Lynx," Autumn replies to Irma, showing off a smile. "Nice to meet you, Irma." Turning to Fawn, she tilts her head while she fixes her stringy monokini a bit. "Hmm..."

Amy offers a wave at Irma, "Amy," she says, before glancing at Solomon again, "A lawyer? Maybe you coulda kept me out of prison," she says with a laugh.

Brows furrowing, Harriet takes in Peyton's claim and doesn't disagee. "It's a bit of a learning curve -- using a pool noodle when I am so used to my warhammer," she confesses. One would think the former would be easier to handle than a one hundred and fifty pound, platinum plated weapon. But apparently it is not. The pink pool noodle strikes her again thanks to Peyton's tried and true aim.

Korina eyes Solomon for a moment longer, a slow blink offered his way, then tells him, "Korina." There's a gentle waving of her feet in the water, back and forth while she eats thankfully free of any splashing her way, and the eventually asks, "How do you know Harriet?" with a gesture over at the host upon one of the float toys - hello Harriet, whom Korina has certainly not greeted as would be the polite thing to do.

Crash goes the Harriet, and she's going to have to get some more awful vodka.

Peyton says, Echoing back from in the pool with a slightly drunken enthusiasm, "Gaaaaaay!!!"
With both Irma and Freya doting on her now, Fawn starts to flush, her brow and cheeks turning red, frowning a little, likely wishing she hadn't said anything. "I... I think I'm okay," she suggests, though with the way she occasionally snaps her head this way or that, glancing at someone at the party, suggests entirely otherwise. Still, the girl earnestly keeps herself distracted, even giving Autumn a sweep from head to toe, exclaiming, "Fuck, that's a really cute swimsuit."

Harriet is pretty gay, in fact, so Peyton's cheer of sorts is spot on. The brunette's head breaks the surface of the water. Her hair clings to her face and she has to pull at the soaked strands with her fingers as she treads water with long legs.

Freya looks down thoughtfully at her phone, "Venice is discussing alliances. Does that happen often, I thought that was done not long ago? " She asks as she scrolls down the page, directing her question towards Harriet more than anyone else.

"Every month," Harriet calls to Peyton as she sputters some and tries to mount that mattress yet again.

Tabitha is snoopy, and so when Trevor sits on the ledge, she's leaning over to peek at his phone to see what he might be frowning about. Her fingers relax on the ledge. "Seems to be an irregular schedule they keep, but yeah," she says to Freya.

Peyton watches as Harriet continues to be her own best frenemy.

Harriet called that out to Freya, rather.

"Thank you," Autumn replies to Fawn. "I thought I would look hot in this monokini. At least it keeps it all in while being stringy."

"Huh I thought it was every six months." Freya floats leisurely as she scrolls with one hand, "How long does it usually take for them to decide?" She asks Harriet and Tabitha.

"We go back a distance," Solomon offers Korina. "Miss Fairfax and I -- especially when the gates were just re-opening -- often found ourselves drawn into rescues of unfortunates," he says. "Our interests are really in completely different areas." Glancing back at Amy, "As for prison... well. I am of course in favor of a strong law and order, but so often people are unjustly swept up in things, aren't they?"

"No, you're really wearing it," Fawn emphasizes, nodding along to Autumn, "If I didn't think I'd spill out of it, I would've shown up in the sling."

Tabitha snorts softly at what Solomon has said. "You're telling me."

Harriet struggles but eventually reclaims her spot on the toy. "I can do this," she's telling herself as she straightens her legs, body quivering to keep it upright and balanced as she tries to swing at Peyton again, intent on taking her down. "It should be settled at the beginning of next month," she calls to Freya.

Harriet hit the dang unicorn.

Irma says to Fawn. "If you're not doing well, I can check you out." But it seems as if she is doing better, so instead she looks across at Autumn. "It is cute," she agrees. The chunky woman is a joiner.

Peyton cries out as her mighty floaticorn takes the brunt of Harriet's assault, and with all the fury of an avenging Valkyrie she strikes back with a hiss.

"Alright! Goodluck with your next joulst!" Freya calls out waving towards Harriet before turning to Matthew, "Hey Matt. How's life?" She asks, "How come you didn't drag Jordon into the pool with you? You could carry him."

Amy snorts lightly, looking to Korina curiously before her attention returns on Solomon, "Well. Some of us deserve it," she says with another wry chuckle to the man.

At Tabitha's comment, Solomon turns to look at her. "Oh, come now. Destiny is not injustice, Tabitha," he chides her. "It's something different. Justice is a human thing," he says. "But destiny is something different. It moves us -- do you think prophecy is just some man in a white wig sitting in the clouds?" he says. "Do you think fate listens to arguments and issues rulings?" He shakes his head. "It's something that compels us."

Tabitha pinches Trevor's thigh. "You are not old. If you're old, I'm old. and I am not old."

Harriet winks at Peyton after she's whacked that mighty steed with the orange pool noodle. The unicorn has survived, though. Then the woman gets hit with the pink pool noodle, and she tries to swing back.

Matthew dashes in from the side of the pool, cheering out, "Wooooo!", as he dives into the water, then shaking his hair out a bit as he floats, looking over to Freya. "Heya, Freya.", he chimes. "Uhmmm, well, they don't like water.", he supposes lightly. He rubs at the back of his neck briefly. "I'll probably check in with them every now and then, though."

Tabitha looses a little bit of a sigh, that doesn't quite sound like a sigh.

"Umm... maybe," Fawn allows of Irma, nodding along in assent. It's simply impossible to keep her attention right now - surely a girl like her's accustomed to large social settings, but she seems physically incapable of focusing on any one person or thing, like she's suddenly come into possession of the world's most hyperaggressive ADHD. From Autumn's swimsuit to Solomon's diatribe on justice and fate; to the shouting from Matthew's end of the pool, she just can't focus.

Freya floats over to Matthew, "You should convince them the water is fine." She tells Matthew with a grin as she holds onto a large inflatable shark with one arm. "Start with taking more baths together I guess." She teases lightly, "I hear you guys are getting knocked out together."

Peyton huffs indignantly, and reaches up to adjust her hat, lowering the brim like a jousters helmet. "Madam Fairfax, you will once again taste the bitter brew of defeat!" She promises. She kicks at the someone as if to make it charge, it sort of bobs vaguely. She cries out with fury, which is to say, shrieks with delight and fun as she goes in for another blow.

She kicks at the Unicorn as if to make it charge, it sort of bobs vaguely. She cries out with fury, which is to say, shrieks with delight and fun as she goes in for another blow.

Korina looks a little lost when her hamburger is all gone - what is her purpose now? - though she simply decides to jump into the pool, sending a big splash around if someone happens to be near enough, and wades her way over to the floaties to poke at Harriet and Peyton over there. She shoots Freya an annoyed glance along the way, just on principle.

"Or is it like Amy says?" Solomon prods Tabitha from where he lounges next to Amy. "Is it that destiny is justice, and you just -deserve- it, Tabitha?"

Trevor snorts a little bit at Tabitha, "What can I say?" He says to Tabitha, but then trails off at Solomon's prodding of the woman - not wanting to be a nuisance.

"Yeah," Autumn nods her head as she gazes at Fawn. "I keep it tucked in so this also works." She then gets splashed as lifts one hand to move some wet hair out of her face.

When Autumn says that, Fawn clamps her lips together and sputters out loud, like someone had just hit her in the stomach.

Korina's first order of business when she swims up here is to reach a hand out to place it upon one of the floaties - the one Harriet is on, specifically - as though she's trying to figure out how easy or hard it would be to puncture her nail through the thing and make it deflate. A long, long stare, but she eventually decides against it, small mercies, and tells Harriet begrudgingly, "Your pool is big."

Apparently, Harriet is fighting with a wet noodle, because every time it does manage to make contact with Peyton, it's weak and cook-spaghetti-like. The blonde is hitting the Warden repeatedly and just fine, though! Her brows furrow, and she is crying out in a Xena-esque ululation. The warcry goes something like, "Aiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi!" and then she's swinging that orange foam thing at Peyton, but gets a little distracted when Korina is suddenly there and possibly conspiring against her.

"Fates are constantly reweaving the threads." Tabitha notes to Solomon. She looks behind her a moment to the food area, then to Freya, "Maybe they've got some kind of mermaid fear." She peers at Solomon from where she sits on the ledge, very near him. "This is not a conversation that I care to have in the middle of a pool party..." Her cheeks have flared bright, and her thighs press themselves together. Her lips twist and contort a moment.

Matthew tilts his head to Freya, humming softly. "I could try, I s'pose, some time.", he supposes, before snorting at her later statement, rubbing at his neck. "Welllllll...", he draws out somewhat amusedly, not giving away anything more on that matter.

Harriet falls right off of that inflated pool mattress and crashes into the water. Agan.

Harriet did it again, too.

Far from the first time, Fawn jerks her head around like she's being stalked, her eyes flashing wildly across the crowd.

Peyton is looking practically dry by this point, except where Harriet's noodle has blopped some water onto her. She looks down at Harriet, lifting her pert nose up as she murmurs beneath her breath. "Disappointing." Shouldering her noodle like a rifle as she watches Harriet sink beneath the merciless waves, a warm light pulsing from her that lights up the pool area brightly.

Freya is too busy in conversation with people around her to notice any annoyed glances sent her way and she flashes Matthew another easy grin that shows off her longer than usual canines, "It's so hot here I feel like it's worth it." She tells the man, "How've you been anyway...." Her words trail off as Fawn starts looking around jerkily, "You okay Fawn?" She asks again.

Tabitha's attention focuses on a specific area of the garden and poolside. There those oceanic eyes stay, as if seeing something that may be there.

Harriet really sucks at this sport. By the time she's crashing up through the water and into the night air again, she's blinking heavily and shaking her head. "I think you are a natural," she insists to Peyton, as if the blonde has anything to do with her repeatedly falling into the pool.

If she's conspiring, she's a terrible conspirationist/conspirer/whatever it is called, because Korina gets immediately distracted by the pool noodle fight, eyes widening a little bit at the back and forth. Claws come out again.

She reaches over and slowly drags an electric blue pool noodle over to her to clutch at it possessively, watching, her eyes flickering rapidly back and forth between Peyton and Harriet to figure out the rules of this engagement.

Irma looks at Fawn with concern. "Fawn?" She frowns. "Everything ... okay?"

Fawn shakes her head slowly, planting a palm on the ground, making as if she's about to get up from her seat at the pool's edge. "I don't know," she says, by way of acknowledging Irma and Freya's concern. "I just need, um, a second."

"I've been alright. Just.. A decent bit going on of late.", Matthew replies, letting himself dip under the water for a moment before following Freya's question directed at Fawn, a mirrored concern given, though he doesn't question it.

Freya reaches over to the side of the pool to get something from her backpack and down it. "Urg it's just Astrid trying to be stealthy in the nightmare." She grumbles, "Anyone want to go in and flush her out?"

Peyton stands on top of a unicorn pool floatie, balancing poisefully and seemingly queen of the proverbial hill.

Freya says "Fawn she's stalking you"
Jordan smiles to Fawn. "How are you feeling now?"

There are many different toys to float on. One must stand atop their chosen one, and then knock an opponent off of their own floatie. Harriet, meanwhile, is just naturally prone to falling off all by herself. She is climbing atop that mattress again, staring over at the victorious Peyton and her trusty unicorn. Korina receives a slow nod as if to welcome her to this bloody battle.

"Can't you or Irma just .... put her in the clinic?" Tabitha asks Freya and Irma alike, fingers scraping along the pool's edge.

Blushing more, Autumn suddenly grins as she crosses one of her legs over the other until she turns to Freya. "First Astrid got scared and now she's lurking in nightmare. She is going to get jumped."

Fawn surreptitiously fishes a pill from her purse, slipping it into her mouth, downing it with a quick little dry-swallow. "Uhh, kind of weird," she admits to Jordan, shaking out her still-wet hair. Being away from the pool seems to have calmed her down a little, but still her avid, hawklike people-watching is out of control. It's like she's completely lost the control of her eyes.

Irma says "I don't think I can from the nightmare, but I can try."
Trevor glances over to that specific spot, his brow furrowing. Freya, though, answers his confusion, and he lets out a relaxed little 'Ah', of acknowledgement, relaxing back on the poolside.

"I'm sorry," Solomon tells Tabitha smoothly. "I wouldn't want to bother you, not when you're looking so pretty." His voice is amused. "But I think often about fate," he says broadly. He glances at Amy. "You think you deserved prison?" he asks her.

Irma says "Not unless she is on institute grounds."
Cat. Is there a cat? Korina looks around in search of it, and does not find one. Her disappointment is immeasurable and her day is ruined.

Instead, Korina climbs upon the peacock - she did consider the dolphin first, but it looked too friendly, perhaps - and stabs out her noodle at Peyton in a duelist's stance. "I will win." she claims.

"Isn't she just high?" Trevor asks both Freya and Irma. "Now, I'm not a doctor, but, that just looks like she's high on SOMETHING."

Freya rolls her eyes as she calls out across the pool, "Any complaints about banishing the insane raging person that's now stalking someone at this party?"

Irma asks Trevor, "Fawn? Yeah." There's a look worriedly in that direction. "She self-medicates a lot."

Solomon turns away from his conversation with a frown to reply to Freya. "Those I represent do not object."

Harriet spends a good amount of time trying to balance herself, and she's watching the fight that is taking place between Peyton and Korina as she calls to Freya, "No complaints!"

Peyton reels a little with alarm, windmilling for balance, and yelping like she had a bad lunch at a ramen restaurant. Abandoning her relentless assault on Harriet she turns and ominously lifts her noodle high before dropping it down in a strike towards Korina.

Freya makes a face, "Apparently I need manpower to do that urg. One of you guys might need to do it if she starts harping up again." She sighs and goes back to floating on her shark.

Tabitha looses a little growl at the back of her throat. It is not a feral sort of growl. There is a bite there, though. Just, what sort? She keeps her eyes on Solomon now. There is a moment of silence from her before she sinks down into the water again. "As do I, Solomon. More than I care to, most days. But you and I have talked about that on many occasion, haven't we?" From the water, she seeks out a pool noodle. She gives Korina a little glance and then the noodle. She doesn't swing at the toned woman, no, she swings it at Solomon from where he sits at the pool's edge. She says to Freya, "I have some complaints, but not on that."

Trevor shrugs at Irma, "She's probably fine then," he says, rather unhelpfully in the presence of two, certified nurses. "Seems like a bad trip to me."

Korina has the reflexes of a cat and the grace of a... cat. She stays on her chosen steed, the peacock bravely carrying her towards the glimpse of victory in the distance, and boops Peyton with her noodle.

Harriet swings and just barely grazes Peyton with that orange noodle. She is not any good with this thing, but Korina knocks the blonde right in.

Solomon staggers back when Tabitha hits him with the pool noodle, and then he stiffens. "Such an assault!" he tells the redhead. "You will, I think -- pay." He breaks away from Amy to begin advancing on Tabitha in the pool.

"I do not object either," Autumn tells Freya. "I don't do killing, but if Astrid lingers in nightmare for too long, nightmare will get her."

Irma tells Trevor, "I have been trying to ..." When Fawn walks in, she asks, "How are you feeling?"

Matthew squints, letting out a sigh and seeming comfortable in the water even with the commotion occurring. When Fawn returns, he looks over to her curiously. "Everything... Alright?", he wonders with brows lifted in mild concern.

Peyton is battered by noodles from every direction. Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer. She clutches at her chest and lets out a water-strangled "Nooooooooooo." She she teeters and falls into the water, darkening the pool area as her light submerges.

Autumn says "She has gun."
"Well done," Harriet praises Korina, watching as Peyton is submerged. She's wobbling atop the mattress, doing her utmost to attempt to not end up overboard for the tenth time... while no one is hitting her.

Amy chuckles lightly.

Astrid says "I just want the fawn. Bitch wants to SHOOT ME? Let's have it!"
Solomon says to Harriet, "It will have to be you, I think. My associates are over-taxed in resources."

Fawn seems to be better than alright. Her jaw's moving around in tight little circles, gurning away, her pupils dilated. She seems to have helped herself to something pharmaceutical. As she espies Astrid and the weapon in her hand, she just stares at her, a little clueless, clearly not understanding the gravity of the situation. "Huh?" she asks.

Korina strikes a victory pose, with her noodle hanging over her shoulder and her nose turned up into the air, watching imperiously as Peyton topples over and sinks to the depths from which she is to never emerge from.

And then, of course, Harriet is next - did she think her act of being bad at this would spare her?! Korina boops with the boop-noodle.

Freya shifts forward and knocks the woman out... for the woman to disappear?

Peyton is giggling with pure joy as she dolphin dives up out of the water and hoists herself up on the poolside. She grasps for the bottle of whiskey and upends it for a guzzle that is probably more than the one sip her forfeit required.

Harriet is at least getting a lot of practice in when it comes to maintaining her balance. All of those times of falling over have given her a bit more insight on how to withstand the weak blows of a pool noodle, so when Korina slaps her with one, she suddenly smiles brightly! It is her turn to attack...

Harriet had some Order soldiers take Astrid far, far away.

Harriet still has it. She's a professional by now. And she's crashing into the pool.

Matthew squints, looking over to Freya, then swimming over by Jordan. "Hey, Jordy.", he chimes, before rolling his eyes slightly. "She came back.", he adds on, exhaling from his nose. "I -think- the whole situation's been resolved, though."

"How much have you had, sweetie?" Irma asks Fawn, floating in her direction to reach out and touch the woman's leg.

All Korina. She did that. That's what her expression implies, anyway, while she watches Harriet somehow strike out at her and end up noodling herself and toppling over.

When Solomon enters the water and begins to stalk her, Tabitha treads water away from him. She swings the pool noodle again at him. This time with a little more relish.

Standing atop her peacock pool float, and brandishing an electric blue pool noodle, Korina announces, "I am undefeated."

"Whelp hopefully they keep her unconcious whereever they take her." Freya nods towards Harriet before going back to floating tranquilly as if she hadn't just knocked anyone out.

Peyton kicks back over to her Unicorn, pulling herself up on top of it again, and fetching her nood to tuck under her arm. She takes a few moments to straighten back up, flushed, she seems a little tipsy. "For the honor of hair." She says, whatever that means. And bomps towards Korina.

Jordan comes carefully, slowly to the edge of the pool. They're quiet and careful, not trying to catch people's attention as they approach, holding their breath and scooching over to where Matthew can reach them, dipping just their feet in the water. "H-hey," they murmur to him, not really commenting on what happened, pretty preoccupied.

Fawn gives a subtle but noticeable full-body jolt when Irma touches her, bilnking rapidly at the woman. "Huh? Oh-- I'm totally okay, like, don't even worry about it," she insists, her words running together rapidly, her brain beginning to outrun her mouth. "I'm like, totally alone in my head. No more noises. Everything is fucking sick!"

"Seems like fate took over noodle," Autumn speaks, turning to watch Tabitha as her noodle makes a splash.

Amy leans back on her elbows, watching everyone with a grin.

When Tabitha overbalances Solomon moves: it's a shift to catch the red-headed woman by the arm. "Not fast enough!" he crows to her, his voice full of some triumph. Then there's a push, to dunk her hard beneath the water before he releases her to let her bob up.

With a gasp, Harriet resurfaces and her arms are responsible for quite a bit of splashing as she tries to keep herself afloat. She tells Korina, "I think you won," as she swims to the edge to take a shot of whiskey, as is required when one gets knocked off their float by someone else.

Tabitha gasps for breath when she rises to the top like cream, except this cream has a mop of red hair that is down into her eyes and threatening to choke her by entering her mouth when she finally does make that rise. And it is a while before she is let up by Solomon to take that gasp.

How the bomper turns into the bomped. All Korina's doing again, certainly. It's definitely not because she's the only sober person here partaking in pool-wars. She shifts now to not be standing upon her float, patting her peacock once - you get to live to see another day, brave steed - and then drops her feet into the water, leaning back against the peacock's neck. "What is the prize?" gets asked of Harriet while she lays her noodle across her lap in easy reach, in case of any sudden sneak attacks.

Peyton hiccups and splashes her face with the fury of her assault. She corrects herself. "Harry"

Fawn's leg slides away from Irma's hand as she scuttles toward the edge of the pool, overexcited all of the sudden, practically a breath away from falling in. Her eyes widen at the sight of Solomon and Tabitha, watching avidly with her hands on her knees, raptly fascinated.

Jordan glances over Solomon with wide eyes, and they pull the bomber jacket up over their nose as their breath starts to quicken. They breathe in the scent, then moves their eyes to focus on Matthew. They seem unaware that they're getting his jacket wet, though.

"Get your pool noodle," Solomon tells Tabitha. "Come on. Try again." He steps back, raising a hand to give a Neo-in-the-Matrix 'beckon' challenge.

Freya floats at the edge and watches, scrolling her phone idly as she cuddles her inflatable shark as if she's going to take it home.

Korina doesn't know what 'For the Harry of hair' means, but she nods at Peyton anyway.

Tabitha is too busy coughing and sputtering out water that she had taken in when pushed beneath the water. "I'm going to taser your hazelnuts," she croaks outward at Solomon. She snags a pool noodle, and lofts herself up with it for a moment before she takes another swing at him.
