Larks Mafia Game Night 250202
The evening at The Chill and Fill Snack Express took an exciting turn during Lark's Mafia game night, a suspenseful scenario set against the backdrop of a mafia takeover. The revelation that the mafia had won the game was dramatized by Lark's announcement of Savannah's character's death at the entrance of the police station, signifying the mafia's victory in Mafia-town. The ambiance of the venue, with its simple decor and dim lighting, enhanced the thrilling revelation, pulling participants deeper into the narrative of deception and intrigue. Participants such as Sophie, Lilian, and Takeshi, were fully engaged, their reactions ranging from surprise to amusement at the game's unexpected twists and outcomes.
As the game concluded, the dynamics between the players revealed the complexity of their strategies and alliances. Benjamin's joyous high-five with Euphemia marked their triumph, while players like Macy and Antoinette contributed to the debate over the rules and outcomes, reflecting on the crucial votes that led to the mafia's victory. In particular, the confusion over whether the death of the town's cops or all the citizens determined the game's end was cleared up, emphasizing the strategic importance of every role. The night ended on a high note with laughter, shared snacks, and commendations from Lark for the game's participants, solidifying the sense of community and shared enjoyment among the players. Despite Takeshi's jest about the game being "lame" due to his early exit, the overall sentiment was positive, with promises of future game nights sparking anticipation.

In the chill zone of the The Chill and Fill Snack Express
The walls are painted cool pastel shades. There are two cheap plastic tables, one with four plastic chairs to match and another smaller table flanked only by two plastic chairs. In the corner is a small wooden table with a portable hot water dispenser ready for anyone wishing to enjoy their ramen. Aside from these few pieces of furniture, the room remains rather bare. Ceiling lights provide a bright glow.
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Sophie looks away from her phone and up at Lark at the mention of 'but', intrigued.
Lilian looks from Siofra to Takeshi, "Just.. go cuddle in a corner and talk instead of texting. So many beeps geez." She complains softly.
Lark paces around. "Upon the entrance of the police station you find, the dead body of..." Lark pauses and whips around to point at...
Savannah.
"It's a clear sign. The mafia have one. This is Mafia-town, baby."
Lark clarifies: "The mafia have WON."
Looking up as Malcolm makes her way in, Lilian makes grabby motions towards Malcolm, "Did you get me anything?" She asks softly.
Benjamin looks over to Savannah, "You were to dangerous, sorry!" and then he gets up to high-five Euphemia
Lilian says "Wait the game ends if the cops both die?"
Lilian says "I thought all the citizens had to die too.."
Siofra laughs openly, "Did- did ANYONE start to hear the projected wants through the poppet storm?"
"The game ended when you and Macy talked about being cops for some reason," Savannah says as she shakes her head side to side.
retakes his previous position along the wall, but detours to deliver some spoils to both Sophie and Lilian in the process. "One of you asked for something, and the other one didn't," Malcolm reckons Lilian's way.
Euphemia grins, pulling away from Beatrix to high-five Benjamin. "No one expects the Seamstress!0"
"No it really doesn't," Macy states back to Euphemia, paying no regard to the day night cycle herself. "Fun thing is that with 6 voters left Toni was kicked out with only 3 votes instead of 4. Wasn't supposed to be a freebie on an even split."
Benjamin says "No once the citizens cannot outvote the mafia the game ends because mathematically they can't vote out maf."
"Yep, if the cops are all rooted out the mafia wins. If the Mafia are all rooted out, cops and towns people win." Lark replies to Lilian.
"Hope you like puffs," Malcolm figures to Lilian.
"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! ThAH-AHAH-! The waay they started arguing against themselves!" Siofra wheezes.
"It wasn't an even split on Toni, she had way more votes." Lark says.
Madeline arches her eyebrow, "I was townie the whole time."
Beatrix giggles softly as she says to Euphemia, "Great... i've pulled you down into a morass of criminality. I'm a bad influence on you."
"I mean was I was too. I was just playing devil's adovocate to Macy." Lilian flashes Malcolm a smile and opens the puffs to take one before offering him the whole packet back.
Benjamin adjusts his suspenders with his thumbs and lets them snap back against his chest, maybe to hard he flinches but grins big. "That was a disaster though holy shit."
Evan claps for the mafia. "Good job!"
Takeshi nods his head slowly, pretending the be following all of this (He wasn't) "Ehhh, this game is so lame" He complains "I got the coolest role and then I died on the first day!"
"Thank you everyone for coming, and for playing! Great job to our winners! I'm hoping we'll do more games in the future here." Lark tells the crowd.
Macy squints at Lark, reminding her, "The 3 people who raised their hands are only half of the 6 voters."
Antoinette smiles to Lark, "Thanks for hosting it, Lark!"
"It wasn't Toni?" Sophie blinks, surprised. "Damn." There's a flash of a smile at Malcolm once she's handed chocolate, and she exchanges chocolate for wings, whether he asked for it or not.
Benjamin says "Wow Doctor dead day one, fuck me."
